a pretty long hiatus here. let's take a look at a time lapped video to start you off. start off at bishop eustace in pennsauken. 57 degrees there right now. but you can see how the day started out with sunshine watch what happens right about now. midday, clouds start to roll in. then they clear out end the sun returns in the afternoon those clouds moving in that was the result of this back door cold front we've been talking about that since last week. it did knock down the temperatures a little bit this afternoon and this evening and kicked up that strong gusty wind. turn out to be beautiful day despite the increase in wind despite the increase in cloud cover this afternoon. and storm scan3 shows that all those clouds drifted off to the south and skies are clear for now. as we widen out you can see scattered showers and even a line of thunderstorms moving through portions of the kansas and oklahoma. that is going to continue moving eastward. as we go through the end of the week and that's what will bring us the threat for showers and storms on friday. but in the meantime, we've got a couple more nice spring days to look forward to. right now 59 in philadelphia. pretty mild out there still.

55 in reading. 53 in allentown. little bit colder mount pocono at 44 and chilly in wild add at 46 right now. you can see the colder air off to the north. nice and warm down to the south richmond at 67. so it was just the influx of those north winds that dropped the temperature just a bit this afternoon and it will be cool again tomorrow but it's been dry for about week now. april so far we've had 1.36-inches of rain since the start of march march 1st the start of meteorological spring we've had 3.37-inches. that's almost two and three quarters inches below average and the dry stretch continues tomorrow sunny and breezy with highs in the 60s. a perfect spring day. thursday clouds increase in the afternoon but it's still nice. then friday, clouds, an few more showers here's wait looks like as that system pushes in from the west. again you can see clouds increasing thursday afternoon. but the rain should hold off until friday afternoon. scattered showers and thunderstorms threw p.m. right through the friday evening commute and then we clear it out fort weekend. one thing to mention though
