hoist live in the sports complex in south philadelphia. don, everybody is going wow. >> wow. >> reporter: wow, it is right. absolutely shocking move by the philadelphia eagles a move that is felt here in philadelphia but all around the national football league. so lets check out the details of exactly what happened here today, this afternoon. the eagles sending five draft picks over the next two years to the cleveland browns for the right to take the number two selection and number fl draft which happens eight days from today. making this move will allow them to take one of the top two quarterbacks, in this years draft class. the general manager you heard just a few moments ago howie roseman who talked during today's mini camp. >> in the near future we have an opportunity to compete every year. that is starting at the quarterback position. by us having the depth chart that we have we feel stronger at that position then we have in a very long time.

>> reporter: roseman says that sam bradford will be the starter, moving forward, however, this gives them the opportunity to draft carson wentz out of north dakota state a fifth year senior, 23 years old, so he is pretty mature, he is expect to be available with that number two selection. busy day in south philadelphia. phillies playing, flyers are playing. we decided to talk to fans and see what they had to say about this move. >> it was a really dumb deal. they could have gotten an offensive lineman. wentz or goff, they will get them killed because they don't have a offensive line. >> there is more holes to filled. we could have stayed at eight, got a good running back but instead we sacrificed a lot of the future for a gamble. >> hopefully it works out and i will still be an eagles fans but makes next years draft not nearly as fun. >> reporter: what a surprise, fans highly skeptical of this move. remember the last time eagles drafted number two overall? that was 1999, fans booed and

tomorrow. john kasich is stumping hard for votes in pennsylvania as well. allegheny county native is planning two local appearances tomorrow. one will be a town hall on penn state's brandywine campus in media. other is a republican dinner in king of prussia. front runner donald trump is taking his campaign to harrisburg tomorrow. then on friday he will rally with supporters at delaware state fair grounds in harring are harrington kent county. philadelphia d.a. and committee of 70 will be keeping a close eye on the polls. they say anyone interfering with the right to vote on tuesday will be prosecuted. >> we're serious about protecting fit answer at their polling place, and assuring their right to vote. my office will also be sending out updates all day while the polls are opened via our twitter account which is at philly under score d.a.'s office. >> if you see something, say something. something out of the bounds, some intimidation, some

potentially illegal activity. >> both pennsylvania and delaware are holding primaries next tuesday, voters in new jersey will cast their ballots on june 7th. emergency bridge repairs are causing some major delays on the delaware memorial bridge. only one lane is getting by for drivers heading from south jersey to delaware, and this morning, a contractor discovered three suspension ropes on the delaware bound span needing immediate repairs. drpa reduced traffic to just the one lane further from the ropes. all right. lets take you live out to chopper three for a look at the emergency bridge repairs. officials say closing the delaware memorial bridge to one lane during the day has not happened in decades but the repair work will continue around the clock and it is expect to be completed within several days. >> that does not look good but it is a wonderful wednesday, weather-wise, it feels like we have been saying wonderful a lot. lets get out to meteorologist kate bilo on the sky deck, kate. >> we have had not much in the weather world to talk about

showers and thunderstorms on friday and let you know if it spills over in the weekend at all. now you back over to you. following tonight's do or die flyers game there lynn memorial tomorrow at wells fargo center for flyers founder ed snide shore died almost two weeks ago from cancer. >> health reporter stephanie stahl has an exclusive interview with one of snider's grandchildren about his health battles and commitment to others. >> reporter: he was committed, for sure. ed snider was a powerhouse who will be remembered thomas a business and community leader, a passionate fan and a loving father and grandfather. he had six children and 15 grandchildren. to take i talk to grandson garrett, about some special memories. >> derek snider's apartment is filled with memories of his grandfather, ed snider and his beloved team the flyers. >> being his grandson was the most beautiful experience of my life. >> he was always talking about inn tig writ with me. he used to compare to himself as to his own journey about

how he might have owned his hockey team for 50 years but those 50 years can be erased by one lie or one bad decision and your reputation is all you have and it takes the long toes create and it takes very little to undue. >> reporter: twenty year-old garrett is following in his grandfather's footsteps and created a foundation, all about giving back, the lessons learned from his super hero. >> when he was diagnosed with seal yak disease he didn't freak out, he didn't get sad but he helped create the national fun days for seal yak awareness. >> reporter: when his grandfather was diagnosed with bladder cancer two years ago he confronted it with dignity and bravery. >> his legacy was not that he wasn't scared but how he dealt were being scared and the way he handled that pain and that discomfort, i thought he was bionic, i have never seen anything like it. if you asked him how he was feeling he would say i feel fine, i will beat it. >> reporter: but he didn't and in the weeks since his death at the age of 83 the tribute

philadelphia a17 in allentown. it has been backward, upside down the past week or so because of the cool ocean what the they are time of the year. it doesn't get that warm down the shore. warms up nicely in the northwestern suburbs. we have a frost advisory for atlantic, burlington, overnight tonight, and, 3:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. tomorrow morning. temperatures in the few colder spots could drop down in the the mid to upper 30's. we're turning breezy through the day tomorrow but it is dry, cloud, showers, cross the area on friday, and good news that clears out and saturday looks nice. with the wind picking up tomorrow, through the midday hours, from noon to 5:00 p.m. portions of the area, and under area and, red flag warning. and, humidity, and still very low. tomorrow is dry, but cloud roll in tomorrow night. friday starts off with maybe a little sunshine but scattered showers in the morning, and then by 3:00 p.m. showers get numerous and friday afternoon or evening there may be a thunderstorm as well. overnight the tonight, clear, moon lit, chilly, two days from the full moon, for your
