tonight investigator are trying too sort through exactly what happened. good evening everyone i'm natasha brown. let's get right out now to eyewitness news reporter david spunt he's live in north wales where he's been tracking the story all day long for us. >> reporter: authorities originally announced this as an active shooter situation. the suspect neutral liesed seconds after pulling that trig gear. right now you are going to hear from a woman sitting a few rose and sadly witnessed everything that happened inside this church behind me. >> a fight broke out and the guy pulled the gun. >> reporter: breeana somers, was sitting around 11:00 sunday morning when things quickly got out of control. >> we are wore shiping and you here three different gunshots everybody kind of went on the floor and was hiding. >> reporter: authorities told eyewitness news a male church member walked into the service, pulled out a gun then shot 27 year old robert braxton. he was rushed to a hospital in

lansdale where he was pronounced dead. >> first thing that went through my mom i have a six year old i'm a single momma upset not knowing whether off getting to be to see her. >> this was adult time for people. >> reporter: montgomery county district attorney kevin steele told eyewitness news the two men got 92 an argument before the shooting. there is no video of what happened inside. >> into we have to take a look at the statements from people. we have to look at the forensic evidence we have then we'll have to make determinations. >> reporter: the shooter is cooperating with police and his office and investigating if the shooting was justified. breeana somers said she's been going to this church three years and will be joining her church family for sunday services next week. >> i've never feared nor my z i work in the city it happens a lot no. i think this was an isolated incident. this isn't going to happen again. >> reporter: i asked da kevin steele several times about the
