in the meantime, the gop rivals of trump have found common grounds, have decided to team up against the frontrunner. >> new generations -- >> republican ted cruz is the only presidential candidate on both sides of the ticket who won't be symptomming in pennsylvania. instead, he's already looking past tuesday's primary, and focusing attention on inched ann a but sunday night, a sharp change of course for the texas senator. once opposed to coordinating anti-trump efforts, both he and ohio governor, john kasich, have now decided to team up against the gop frontrunner, the kasich campaign says it will give cruz clear path in indianna while the crews campaign will clear the path for kasich in oregon and new mexico. >> it has narrowed the field, as we stand here today, there are two people and only two people that have any plausible path whatsoever to winning the republican nomination. me and donald trump. as i said, plausible path.

shooter has not been arrested, and is cooperating with police. >> meanwhile, police are searching for the gunman who shot and killed a man just moments after the man spoke with the state representative candidate in cedarbrook. investigators say the 21 year old was shot twice in the head after speaking with candidate chris, and while he was talking to a staffer. it happened yesterday afternoon about 3:30 on the 1400 block of vernon road. the gunman got away. meanwhile, police believe a shooting several hours later was in retaliation for that shooting. eighteen year old was shot and killed and 17 year old wounded in a drive-by shooting on temple road, short distance away. investigators say, the violence could be gang-related. >> community meet something set for tonight in delaware to discuss the violence that left a teenager dead at her school last week. sixteen year old amy joiner seen here on the right was a take in a girl's bathroom inside howard technology school, later died at the hospital. police say two student were involved but so far no arrest

have been made. now tonight's meeting will take place at stubs elementary school at 6:00 p.m. >> president obama is sending more military might to battle isis. he will authorize up to 250 more personnel to support syrian forces. as reporting, special dozens operations forces are already in syria. >> rescue workers rush to help victims of another government assault on the syrian city of alepa sunday, as the civil war there continues, the us will step up it fight against a third side of the syria conflict, the islamic state. president obama expected to announce early this morning that 250 american military personnel will join the 50 already on the ground in syria, many will be specializes forces working closely with local fighters. obama has previously said the effort to aid moderate syrian force asks badly hindered by

plane today. >> i know, katie, changes on the way. >> absolutely right. we get this one final day hereof full sunshine before the next system gets here. meantime watching warmfront lift north, guys. what that means is that even though there is a warmfront there, we are trying dry. you can see the moisture with that lifting to the north, it sort of changes your wind flow, obviously, you start to see that southerly wind flow kicking in, high pressure starts to yield to the arrival of this next storm system, we are just going to start to see the moisture building in the atmosphere, also again nice warming trends. today feels like summer, upper 70s, little building dew point situation, in other words, humidity starts to go up. front staying far removed from our area, so we expect more than anything mostly sunny skies. here is the actual storm though. and it is going to be dragging cold front through eventually bringing the potential at least for stronger storms tomorrow. but not today. you know, philadelphia just one of those days to take advantage of. put the sun block on. don't get me wrongment take advantage of it, upper 70s today, high pressure gives way, now, that warmfront is

going to be nearby enough tomorrow. that we will likely see a round every showers, heavy rain, very early in the morning, especially north of the city. and then the cold front will be dragged through our area, as that comes through, perhaps there is a late morning shower on primary day, but it is generally later half of the day. so plans, to go out to the polls will be later in the afternoon toward evening, that is likely when we see in the just some rain but very likely heavier thunderstorms rumbling through here too. so please just keep it tuned, to us here at cbs-3, also on cbsphilly.com for the late fest there are any advisories or watches or warnings that get issued, we will obviously let you know, catch break by wednesday before the next systems comes along. spikes today, for the next few days, drops off little tomorrow, with the wet weather moving through, down to 8.6. still medium to high for the tree pollen levels, so, you still want to, you know, pay attention to that if you are a l err gentlemen suffer, tomorrow the warmest day of the pack, showers, storms
