candidates but lets begin with trang do with more in west chester, trang? >> reporter: hi, good evening, guys. that rally ended about an an hour ago. you can see the crowd has really thinned out, here, police are out here right now. at one point there were thousands of pro and anti donald trump protesters. anti group started showing up around 12:00 noon. they were organizing on facebook trying to send a message that trump is not welcomed here. meanwhile plenty of donald trump support as well. 's arrived just before 4:00 and spoke before a enthusiastic crowd of 3500 people inside the field house here. he had a message for those who are not taking him seriously as a presidential candidate. >> we're going to be if i'm elect i will be a great president for the people of this country. a great president. i will bring back your jobs. i will do things. because the fact is, that our country is not working

anymore. our country is really in bad shape. >> reporter: chopper three is now live over university avenue, here where things have quieted down. police have encouraged protesters to go home. it looks like they are heed ago this warning. at one point they were on either side of the street. mostly peaceful. sometimes just shouting at each other but it was a a very peaceful rally out here but for now we are live from west chester university i'm trang do for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". trump's rivals ted cruz and john kasich are teaming up to attempt to keep him from winning the g.o.p. nomination. kasich defended the plan to block trump from getting the necessary delegates when he made a stop at penrose diner in south philadelphia this morning. the kasich will focus honor gone, new mexico while cruz will be campaigning in indiana. both camps hope the a agreement will help slow down trump a's momentum. hillary clinton is rallying with supporters tonight in philadelphia and polls show her with a lead in

"eyewitness news" reporter david spunt is in center city with more, david. >> reporter: we expect that former secretary of state hillary clinton will definitely highlight that lead she has over senator sand tours clinch the democratic nomination tonight when she's here behind me. it will happen 7:30. supporters are already inside. it will be in the courtyard of city hall. when i say inside. earlier today we want to show you video of the former secretary of state in wilmington delaware greeting supporters talking to them about raising the minimum wage to about $15. that is what senator bernie sanders is calling for. she's talking about keeping the affordable care act in place. the also known as obama care. equal pay for women. just some of the issues that hillary clinton is focusing on. ukee and jessica, at this point, the former secretary of state is talking about donald trump a lot more perhaps showing that she's looking to the election in november. there are also reports out today that she's narrowing

michigan, lower peninsula at the moment. those showers, and embedded thunderstorms will get here during the day tomorrow, mainly in the afternoon. in the meantime take a look at your high temperatures. we got up to 76 here in philadelphia 76 for the high in reading and dover. allentown got to 75 degrees. mount pocono at 67. even hit 70 in atlantic city. sea breeze picked up in the afternoon, certainly cooler then that at the moment. timing these out for rest of tonight everything is quiet. a few patchy cloud. you may hear rumble of thunder or rain drops on the rooftop overnight as batch of showers moves by mainly off to the north. that will clear quickly tomorrow morning. here's 9:00 a.m. notice a few showers, mainly off to the north, but also some breaks in the cloud cover. we do see sunshine here and there during the day tomorrow. even into the afternoon we will see some sun, on a day like tomorrow with the front approaching you kind of don't want to see sunshine. warmer it gets and it will destabilize atmosphere. the sun beats down on the ground. that causes instability in the atmosphere.

once this cold front comes through that is more uplift and that creates threat for strong thunderstorms. 3:00 p.m. we will see showers and storms break out to the north. storms get more intense as they come through the philadelphia area around 5:00 and down the shore by 7:00 o'clock. then clears out quickly but anyone of those storms could pack a punch. look at what happens, that front stalls off to the south bringing increased included cover in the morning. we will clear it out in the afternoon. it may end up being nicer day in mount pocono then in dover with more cloud to the south. it will be a severe weather out break across the plains tomorrow with moderate risk for severe weather there, tornadoes are possible. nothing that intense for us. marginal risk meaning anyone of those storms could pack a punch. isolated morning showers, scattered afternoon storms, a few locally storm. biggest threat, gusty wind and possible hail. then jet stream right through end of the month and early may does look active. jet stream off to the south means unsettled and cooler then average for next couple weeks. we will have nice days here and there but not will be the
