brakes letting you know you are in longer driving at 55 miles an hour dropping ever so slightly. but up you where that crash was it gets busy. just make note for those heading in that direction. schuylkill eastbound, this is what you are looking at, we are looking okay. we are traveling at posted speeds which is great news a lot of headlights we know that we will start to see brake lights go off sometime soon. we have an accident northeast extension southbound before quakertown here in that area make note, that is in the cleared out just yet. kelly drive has a repaving project all lanes are opened but uneven pavement in this area is he use caution. we have a despicable crime surfacing. >> this is awful. her family says scammers are trying to profit off of the tragedy. determine exactly what happened here at this wilmington high school late last week officials now say that there are people trying to capitalize on this student's death by setting up fake fund raising accounts. the child is sickened by it all and now speaking out. it has been one week since 16 year-old amy joyner francis was killed during a bathroom fight at howard high school of technology but at the memorial continuing to grow outside, the students family now says that some people are trying to use their tragedy to make money, setting up fake fun raising, attempting to scam mourners out of cash. sonya and his doubt are and self nieces that go to howard and disgusted by the idea. on wednesday, this teenager's family issued a statement through police. we want everyone truly concerned for us not to fall victim to the scams going on around the internet, writes anthony joyner, the victim's brother. we will have not set up any fundraiser or go fund me accounts. they are fake pages and accounts are spreading into

those lies. please do not lose your money or entertain the lies of these cruel people. >> they need to get arrested too because why y'all doing this. >> reporter: joyner francis brother continues to say anyone who would like to make a donation can do so to the congo funeral home in wilmington. in the meantime investigators have not made any arrest toss joyner francis death the but school district says three students involve in the fight have been now suspended. they had been out of school since the assault last week. the district has also held parent meetings to discuss concerns and explain counseling services at the school. >> i really hope these girls get caught and arrested because this is what it calls for this child came to school. just before school started. didn't get to learn or nothing. the mom ape seeing her come back home. >> reporter: wilmington's police chief now says charges will be filed in this case, probably by the end of the week. it has been a very long intense investigation, some parents showing concern that

has taken more than a week now but investigators say it is a long process because there are a lot of interviews and social media account to go through involved with this case. it will take sometime. reporting live from wilmington, jan carabao for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". jim and brooke, back to you. >> thanks, jan. police are investigating a shooting near 24th and lehigh. they say a 39 year-old man told them he was shot in the stomach while pumping gas. bullet was actually found in the victim's shirt. investigators think it ricocheted before it struck him. officers found shell casings a short distance a way. man was taken to temple hospital in stable condition. police say their investigation is not yet over. a shooting in the frankford section of the philadelphia leaves a man in critical condition this morning. police say the 27 year-old victim was shot multiple times around 9:30 last night on the 4700 block of oxford avenue. so far, no arrests have been made. a philadelphia police source tells eyewitness news, officers stormed the wrong house, taking an innocent

family into custody. it happened early yesterday morning on the 6300 block of elmwood avenue in southwest philadelphia. officers were investigating reports of the home invasion their by at 52nd and whittaker, after getting a tip call they checked crime cameras which showed three people going inside a house on elmwood avenue. authorities declared a barricade and called swat teams who broke in the home much to the the surprise of the people inside. now those residents have have now been cleared of wrongdoing and we expect the police to offer more details later this morning. convicted killer ira einhorn has been moved to a minimum security prison for health reasons. einhorn is 75 years old, serving life in prison near pittsburgh for killing his girlfriend holy mad docks in philadelphia back in 1977. you may remember einhorn was a fugitive for years until he was captured in europe in 1997 and extradited back to philadelphia in 2001. officials have not released specific details about

einhorn's health. philadelphia's remembering former police commissioner willie williams by flying flags at half staff at police districts across the the city. williams was sworn in as philadelphia's first black police commissioner in 1988, and helped lead city in a new era of policing. he first join in the 1960's and then rose through ranks and blazed the trail for black officers. williams left philadelphia in 1992 to take over as l.a.'s top cop in the wake of the rodney king riots there. he died following a long illness in atlanta on tuesday night, willie williams was 72 years old. one week after his death, new details are emerging in the death of prince. >> "eyewitness news" reporter justin finch joins us live with what investigators are saying this morning. good morning, justin. >> reporter: the probe into prince death is far from over, we know there were no signs of suicide or trauma but sources tell cbs news that prescription painkillers were found at singer's paisley park home where he died, one week

ago today. those sources add it is not yet known if those pain drugs played a role in his death last thursday. prince was found unresponsive, and in his minnesota home, people magazine reports local authorities now want federal drug agents to help source the medications. minnesota star tribune reports that prince lost consciousness on the flight six days before the flight. after the emergency landing he was reportedly given a treatment to off set opioid overdose. officials say cause of death is likely taste to weeks away. yesterday a judge a pointed a bank as a special administrators. the prince assets could total as much as 300 million-dollar or maybe even more. now, that may be it because little is known about the extent of his assets. we know he kept a vault of never released recordings that could double his worth. his music sales have been soaring and his ban the revolution says it is reuniting. prince was only 57 years old, jim.

here's a lesson for all have of us, please don't let your fear of dealing with the estate process stop you from taking control and reducing the potential for future controversy. at the very least, and i mean this is bare minimum just write down a basic outline have of what you would want to have happen to your assets in the event of your death. of course, i much prefer hiring a estate attorney to do it and members will do tonight accordance with your specific state laws, but having something in place is certainly better than nothing. >> for those who may not know, when you break down what a wills and any other documents that one might need. >> a willis a legal document that a showers that your assets are passed to your designated beneficiaries in accordance with your wishes. you name a executor, the person who are the institution, that oversees the distribution of your assets. if you have got minor children would you need to name a
