>> mr. braxton was seen having a bad day and having some issues and church members had spoken to him. >> reporter: after witnesses say braxton calmed down and was seated, storm, at alleged shooter, approached with his handgun a concealed to carry permit and some sort of badge. >> it appears from our investigation that he ordered it on line and there is an indication that he said he was a a police officer or was law enforcement but he clearly changed the situation. >> reporter: steele said an argument broke out between the two men, braxton punched storm and then storm opened fire. >> the gun being brought into the situation escalated it, and then the victim reacted to that and then the defendant shot him twice. >> this has been a tragic situation, for so many people. >> reporter: once again storms was arraigned this afternoon and his bond currently set at

a quarter million-dollar. meanwhile, d.a. steele says braxton's family plans to bury the 27 year-old this saturday. we are live at montgomery county courthouse i'm greg argos for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". >> greg, thank you. six month police investigation snagged more than 100 alleged players in the drug sales trade in darby, delaware county. eye witt the necessary news reporter trang do is outside boro hall with more on the potential impact police hope these new arrests will make, trang. >> reporter: this is a very busy day here at darby boro municipal building where those 100 plus people had to be processed before being taken to jail. they all face felony charges for allegedly selling drugs, to under cover officers. more than 100 people arrested, two guns and a assault rifle, $48,000 worth of crack cocaine, heroin, marijuana and pills off darby streets. the result of a six month under cover sting operation called operation spring cleaning. >> we are going to prosecute

>> call somebody, call me, call the police station, call the mayor, call the d.a., i don't care who you call, just let us solve this homicide, so his family can have some closure. >> reporter: there was one case of mistaken identity where woman just moved in her apartment about two weeks ago she had her door income down and home raided. police chief says that he does plan to vice that it woman to apologize and pay for my damage that occurred. we're live from darby boro i'm trang do for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". a swat team storms the wrong house, taking an innocent family into custody. source say this happened on the 6300 block of elmwood avenue in southwest philadelphia earlier this morning. officers were investigating reports of a home invasion nearby at 52nd and whittaker. after getting a tip they check crime cameras which showed second three people entering the elmwood avenue entrance. swat team broke in the home, much to the surprise of the

people inside. >> i hear my mother, my mother knocks on the door and said police are here. i go, all right, here i come. i come out of the door and there is a pump action rifle, not the like aimed at my chest, on my chest. i'm like them trying to settle with money, that is not going to take back what you did to me. i suffered from post traumatic stress. >> residents in the wrong house say the police department apologized and offered $500 to pay for damages to the home. police say they arrested a man armed with the sword, at juniata park. eyewitnesses say suspect walked in the express market store on k street to buy cigarettes around 11:00 o'clock. the officers were called, they taserd the man but he pulled the prongs out of his body and ran in the nearby home which he barricaded himself. around 12:30 the suspect came out with his hand up and was arrested. nine year-old boy is in stable condition after he was bitten by a pit bull mix.

chopper three over the 39200 block of diamond street in philadelphia's strawberry mansion section. police say boy was waiting for his school bus when the dog bit him on the back. doggies held in quarantine for at least next ten days and investigators have not found the dog's owner. these last few days of april are proving the old saying about april showers, to be true, our weather team is tracking rain right now and meteorologist kate bilo is here with your first look at the forecast, kate? >> jessica, another cloudy, gray, dreary day in philadelphia, you can see steady rain now moving north of the city, bucks county getting steady yes, sir rain at the moment up through lehigh valley and in the poconos as well but this unfortunately is not the last of the wet weather we will be seeing in the coming days. the as we zoom out we still have another round of showers over west virginia and even zooming out further, clouds and showers all through portions of the the upper midwest and thinks all coming through our region as we say stuck in the cloud cover, right through the end have the workweek. the question is how is the weekend shaping up? i'll answer that in a bit.

high drama a at a baltimore television station, gunfire rings out after a man wearing an animal costume and surgical mask threat tone blow the place up. cbs reporter craig boswell has step by step of how the bizarre witt ways unfolded. >> reporter: baltimore station wbff were evacuated thursday afternoon after a man walk in and told someone he would set his koran fire and planned to blow up the station. >> he said something to him and then, displayed, what appeared ton wires, and some other things the size of the jacket. >> reporter: photographer captured this image of the man wearing some kind of a

>> reporter: here are some things you can do to pack smarter. love to read? skip books and magazines and switch to the ipad or kind will but don't over pack electronics either, limit to two devices. instead of the bringing a entire bag of toilet supplies bring the free stuff like shampoo, conditioners, soap, lotion, many hotels also supply tooth brushes, raisers, mouthwash and other items but may need to request them. most importantly, when it comes to packing clothes, consider whether you really need a different outfit for every day. >> pack things that have multiple uses. you can mix and match and change things out, you will probably for seven days don't need more than two pairs of pants and wearing one when you get on the plane. >> reporter: one other bit of advice invest in the travel steamer, when are pulling something out of your suitcase to wear for the first time or just spruce something up after multiple wears a good steamer comes in handy. the reporting for three on your side, i'm jim donovan. >> hang it up.

i'm ukee washington. i'm jessica dean. lawsuit names snap chat in the reckless driving case. jericka duncan test us at issue is the app's speed filter. >> reporter: crystal mcgee apparently posted this snap shortly after crashing a car in september, and the caption, lucky to be a live. while driving this white mercedes the teenager used snap chat speed filter and tapped out at 113 mild an hour. she then slammed in the gray mitsubishi n a a lawsuit the driver of that car, whiteworth maynard says magee was distracted and using snap chat app on her phone.

you can take video or even pictures. once you are done, before you send it, you can choose from a number of filters. this one can show how fast we are going in the car. the lawsuit claims that the popular miles per hour filter is actually an inventive for snap chatters to drive very fast. psychologists lisa demore. >> i have heard teens say that things don't feel real until you see them on social media. >> reporter: with more than 100 million daily users, snap chat has deep pockets, making it a prime target for the lawsuit says attorney eric earlland. >> it does raise questions about whether snap chat could have legitimately and reasonably known that people would be using this feature while they were driving. >> reporter: in a statement snap chat says we actively discourage our community from using this speed filter while driving, including by displaying a do not snap and drive warning message in the app itself. jericka duncan for cbs news, new york. prescription drugs are focus of the investigation into prince's death. law enforcement said they were found in his home and late singer's possession and sources say the carver county sheriff's office contacted dea of possibly assisting in the

well, now to a wild ride. >> police released dash cam video of their expressway, chase with a flatbed truck. the driver was hauling a forklift as he raced around florida. he almost hit several cars and a truck nearly tipped over during this chase. the truck finally came to stop after it crashed in the median and into that opposite side of the road, before police were able to arrest him. every spring we hear it is like the sound of summer arriving. >> i can hear it now. >> mr. softee truck rolling through, playing the jingle. >> ♪ >> and tonight we are sad to report that the man who gave us that jingle, les watts died earlier this month. he also wrote jingles for the
