gross, it is raining out there, so give yourselves some extra time. >> radar very deceiving t looks like okay maybe got couple of specs recalls out there. yes, not heavy rain, but anybody is fair game right now to see some light mist, drizzle, enough that you probably have to flick the windshield wipers once, twice, so do keep it in mind. we have some clouds out there. also, some showers to dodge here and there, pretty light in nature, though, and we're going to continue to see that throughout the course of the day really any time. so, temperatures at best, held into the mid 50's for us here today, where we stand right now, in the 40's, and we're going to keep you generally in this range for the next couple of hours. mid 50's at best for you, throughout the course of the afternoon, and as we take a quick peak here at the eyewitness weather day planner, you can expect, again, spotty showers, spotty areas of mist, drizzle, mid 50's at best throughout the course of the day, and it is going to feel awfully chilly to you as a result. so keep it in mind as you hit the road here today.

"eyewitness news" reporter jan carabeo picks this story up live outside northeast detective. good morning, jan. >> reporter: jim, brooke, good morning. police say it was a woman who pulled the trigger and that officers caught up with her just four blocks from the shooting scene. now this morning, she in custody and so is a man witnesses saw her leaving with early this morning, meantime, the victim of the shoot something in the hospital, in stable condition, expected to survive. take a look at the video, police were called out to the intersection of frankford avenue, and margaret street, around 12:30 this morning, for shot fired offers ever arrived, found man injured. woman shot him and left the scene with another man in his car, last seen traveling on err its street. police found the car just four blocks away in the area of margaret and mulberry two. suspect taken into custody as well at a home nearby and id by witnesses. police are hoping to find the weapon used in the shooting

inside of the home this morning. meantime the victim is lucky to be alive. police found him lying on that sidewalk in frankford. >> suffering from three gunshot wounds, one to the face, one to the back, and also, his leg. medics transported the shooting victim to temple hospital, where he is in stable condition. so he is expected to survive. >> no motive for the shooting at this point, hang here at northeast detective, folks here investigators are interviewing number of witnesses, police are also searching for surveillance video in the area that is very busy area, septa hub. we continue to stay to up date with this story but for now live just outside northeast detective, jan carabeo, cb. three, "eyewitness news", jim, brooke, back into you. >> thanks, january. this morning, at least 20 people are under arrest after hundreds take to the streets in costa mesa california, brooke silva brag a reports they protested outside a rally where donald trump spoke to thousands last night.

news". >> suspicious substance leads to security scare at donald trump's campaign offers in new york city. a campaign staffer opened a letter containing the substance and immediately notified security last night. now, testing is underway, but, right now, police are calling the substance harmless. you know, just last month, the fbi investigated a suspicious powder in a piece of mail that was sent to donald trump's son, eric. >> former speaker of the house john boehner is not minutes g words about senator ted cruz at stanford university yesterday, boehner called cruz, quote, lucifer in the flesh, and the most miserable person he's ever worked with. now, cruz brushed off the insult saying he's never worked with boehner. boehner says he and trump are texting buddies, and he would vote for trump if he he is the party nominee. all right, we have a look at this morning's newspaper headlines including what governor christie says about his wife's reaction, that's going viral. >> plus what killed prince,

>> three wilmington students could be charged today in the death of their 16 year old classmate. no word if they'll be charged as adults or juveniles. amy joyner francis was assaulted by three students in girls rest room last week at howard high school of technology. she died from her injuries, school officials suspended the three girls involved in the fight, and anti-girls violence rally is planned tonight at 7:00 in new castle. funeral services for amy joyner francis are on sunday, at the st. paul uame church in wilmington. >> authorities are trying to determine if prince died from a drug overdose. of course prince was found unresponsive last week, in his minnesota home. investigators want to know if a doctor was prescribing drugs and if a doctor was traveling with the musician when his plane made that emergency landing in illinois just a week before his death. prince was only 57 years old. and officials say, a cause of
