temperature readings dropped in the last couple of days, we came from the mid 80s, to the mid 50's, in one day's time, and that's basically where we stay again today. although we should start to see some rebound, on the thermometer come this weekend, but un fourthly, looks like this pattern stays somewhat dreary. don't get me wrong. we could use the rain, we will take what we can get. at the moment storm scan pretty quiet looking, but we will be dodging light rain perhaps some drizzle, off and on, any time here today, and if you are not dealing with rain, you will be stuck generally with some cloud cover. so, again, it is not the prettiest way to wrap up the work week here, but we are expecting again mid 50's, clouds, damp, chilly, dreary weather, with light rain, and drizzle coming through off and on any time. now, that said, as we look forward in the forecast, notice that the percent chance for rain starts to drop dramatic by i it tomorrow. expect dry day. not going to see heck of a lot of sunshine granted but at least dry, if you have outdoor plans, although, all the sudden you spike to near 100% chance for rain by sunday, and

policemen to hold him down. >> after that, brizzi things got worse for his son. he lost his job, broke one his girlfriend, but seemed to be holding it together. >> he's been acting okay since we've come home, you know, just little bit reserved. >> his wife noticed something odd wednesday night. >> she went down to his room and she said there is something with a bunch of wires. >> brizzi didn't know anything happened at tv station until his phone rang. >> about 4:00 my wife called me up and said get home. when i got here there was 7atf agent here. >> despite his son's injuries, he isn't holding grudges against the police. >> they've got to do their job, you know, they can't assume that it is a candybars wrapped around. >> and he's glad his son is alive. >> looks like he will be okay, that's the main thing, so hopefully, you know, i'll get

some help. >> cbs-3 "eyewitness news". >> police need your help identifying four teenagers wanted for robbery and assault on temple university cam pulls. police tell "eyewitness news", a 43 year old plan was walking near 13th and norris streets sunday, when four teenagers punched, kicked, grabbed his shirt. off duty temple university police officer chased the suspect away, the man suffered minor injuries. but surveillance cameras captured the teen suspect walking down norris street. investigators say they are between the ages of 16 and 19 years old. >> the time now 5:36. in business news this morning, atlantic city could be facing some big trouble this weekend. >> and new way to wake up with a hoagie. money watch's hena daniels joins us live from the new york stock exchange. >> i like that, true, good morning, guys, happy friday.

dow jones fell 210 points, nasdaq dropped 57 points. atlantic city new jersey could be facing default. according to the wall street journal, the gambling destination could miss a $1.8 million bond payment, on sunday. city has endured strain. the nation's largest cable company, comcast, has agreed buy dream works animation. deal is valued at $3.8 billion dream works animation has the kung fu panda franchises one of the last studios not owned by major media company. for the month of may, sandwich chain will offer free six-inch breakfast sandwich with the purchase of any sub before 9:00 a.m. customers will be able to choose from breakfast favorites such as the block forest ham, egg and cheese, steak and apple wood smoked bacon, offer kicks off on may 1st, brooke, jim?

>> in scene played out in broad daylight, like a stunt in a fast and furious move. >> i oh, my god. >> that's super dangerous. >> watch as that man clinics to the front after car, as the driver keeps going, down the street, even making a u-turn. eyewitnesses say they heard two men arguing, and when the man standing in front of the vw sedan refused to move, the driver just took off. thankfully, no one was hurt. >> i'm not going to be doing. that will some severe weather now in the midwest, when funnel cloud is spot in the central indianna. the storm damage add barn, the roofs of several homes when it passed through the region yesterday afternoon. several counties also issued tornado warnings, a preliminary report says tornado touched down with a estimated 100-mile per hour winds, fortunately, no one was injured. boy, that's rough stuff, katie in the midwest. >> again, yes, their time of year for sure, fall and

spring, those transition seasons tend to just produce a lot of severe weather, and own range in the plane state there. that said, we are not looking at the prettiest forecast here either, unfortunately, more weather to track. but dow want to start things off with maybe little nice weather news. and that is we have a special guest in house, this is kerry higgins, she comes to us from mt. laurel. she made the trip in from new jersey, to be with us here this morning, thank you so much for waking up early with us. i always like to call her one of our gold star weather watchers. she reports in dark and early with us almost every single morning, thanks for hanging out with us until the ends of the show this morning helping us produce the weather for the show for the rest of the morning. so, so glad to have her, and we are so glad to have the rest of the eyewitness weather watchers reporting into us this morning. nice slew of them, too. so many of these temperatures are very much just consistent, mid 40's, kind of the norm, around the whole region so

take a look at the list format, sometimes easier way to look at things, dave out in essington, 46 degrees, barbara checks in at willow grove 43, mid 40's from greg, david, lynn all around the board, whether one of the more remote suburb, gilbertsville, or even in a place like philadelphia where phil is located, consistent across the board so that said, why is this happening? pretty much everybody under cloud cover, acted like blanket to trap any warmth we may have managed to builds up in the atmosphere yesterday. wasn't heck of a lot. so it trapped it in place. in addition to that, weaver wet weather moving through in scatter fashion, i was out on the skydeck where it is casino of damp but not currently drizzling or raining at all, but do keep in mind that anyone, fair game to see that happen, any time here today. wider zoom on storm scan, shows the combination of the next storm that's brewing, boy this will be a doozy, by the time this reaches us, guys,

come to life at brick fest live. it is happening at the greater philadelphia expo center in oaks this weekend. and that is where we find "eyewitness news" reporter justin finch, re-living his childhood. hey, justin, you having fun? >> oh, maybe i am reliving my childhood. that's right. good morning, brooke, jim. all dried off from my leggo pool dip here. and right now we are in the middle of very active city, as you can see, everything appears to be open, collectable offers, people inside working, lights are on, as you can see, the leggo store of course open, starbucks, the entire town is waking up just like we are this morning, this is one of many impressive structures you will see here at brick fest this year at the greater philadelphia innings poe. talking this morning to two of the men who brought this entire thing to so i opportunity bring in chad collins the founder every brick fest, chad, this all began quite humbling, you say, is that right? >> this began with a simple youtube video, that spawned

into bringing our community together, in a live event, kicking off right here in philadelphia. >> now, this is home for you. and it is also your largest event. that travels nationwide? >> bucks county natives. great thing about having the event here, able to really jilt the community, with something like science technology, engineering and math, which you get when experiencing leggo bricks. >> and also part of the back grounds? >> it is. as engineer starting as engineer, i a tribute a lot of those problem solving acted, to my time playing with leggos as a kid. >> see year after year here, how impressed are you? >> oh, every year where we see these creations come in, and get large err and larger like this layout, town we are looking at right now, it is mind blowing. what we want to see are kids come, get inspired, and then immediately take that inspiration and get their hand on the bricks and make their

morning. >> good morning, guys. my sister lives in seattle. raining again. >> shocker. >> i hate to break it to you on a friday morning, good news, katie, it is friday, and is there a silver lining next week? >> eventually yes, we will see the sun return, it has not completely disappeared, but won't return any time soon just yet. looking at very dreary view right now, from middle township high school. 46 degrees, chill in the air for sure, but thankfully not terribly breezy, but out in the live neighborhood network a lot of camera shot just like this, tell tell signs camera lens, never know that there was necessarily a lot of rain moving through. yes, sometimes radar can be deceiving. this isn't wash out after day. but we do have the chance to see light rain, or some mist, or fine drizzle, any time for anyone throughout the rest of the day. mid up over's, generally where we are standing right now, little cooler up in the mountain as is typical. but only get you
