the schuylkill. a lot of headlight out there, a loft people heeding the warnings, jumping out early if at all possible, i would highly recommend you do so, because it is going to get very slow. already seeing that, new jersey, 42 freeway northbound at creek road, what you are looking at for those of in you new jersey, 295. this is one of the areas holding pretty steady. actually looks okay. you're still traveling at around 55 miles per hour, which is where i want to keep you. i know i won't be able to keep you there, but right now 42 looking okay. ninety-five south, past cottman, what you are looking at here, starting to see a lot of those brake lights go off, coming around the bends, and a lot of vehicles out there. we can expect that in the 6:00 hour typically, i would say for just cracking into the 6:00 hour now, that's a lot of vehicles out there. interstate 95 right nowment schuylkill tail light moving in the eastbound direction, by the vine. i'm going to move on out. you can see tail light and headlight moving in the eastbound and westbound direction, just a loft vehicles out there. just busy. where we have the accident route 422 eastbound onramp from arm and hammer boulevard, jim, back over to you. >> lots going on, thanks, meisha a cousins are shot

overnight in north philadelphia. >> police tell us, something's not adding one their story. "eyewitness news" reporter jan carabeo with the latest on the investigation from temple hospital. jan, what can you tell us at this moment? >> brooke, jim, good morning. philadelphia police are trying to sort this one out. first and for most, they are trying to figure out where exactly this shooting happened early this morning, they say, the victim's story isn't making sense right now. in the meantime, those two victims, two cousins, are here, at temple university hospital this morning recovering from their injuries. >> cousins caught up in gunfire tuesday morning at north philadelphia. a 16 year old shot four times, in the legs and arms. his 20 year old female cousin shot once in the back. both are now in the hospital in stable condition being interviewed by police. it was around 1:00 a.m., when philadelphia police found the pair sitting outside a home on 19100 block of glenwood avenue. but, they tell police, they were actually in the area of park avenue and somerset street when they were shot. they say a man approached them, and for unknown reason,

he opened fire. police, how much, have not yet been able to find a shooting scene, and are not sure if the victim are being truthful. >> the thing unusual, both of the victims are found at least two blocks away from where not only where they live, where their address is, but also found two blocks away from where they state they were when they were shot. >> police question if the shooting really happened at park and somerset. that would mean the 16 year old who was shot three times in the legs was able to run for several blocks. police are also trying to figure out why the cousin ended up at this specific house on glenwood. >> i don't believe these detective will have probable cause to enter the house on glenwood, because they never made entry to the house. all they were doing was sitting on the steps. we're going to try to find out who lives there. right now nobody's come out of the house, house all lock up, house is dark. >> so, the big question is, if these victims live at somerset and park, and they were shot in the area of somerset and

park, why didn't they just go home? now, there is no motive for this shooting at this time, and no witnesses. police again are trying to sort all of this out. the two victims behind me here at temple university hospital in stable condition expected to survive. police do say, how much, that area of somerset and park is a known drug location. reporting live outside temple university hospital. jan carabeo, cbs-3, "eyewitness news", jim, brooke, back into you. >> thanks so much, jan. police now sorting out the details of two shootings in frankford as well. they're trying see if violence, if the violence is connected. twenty year old was returned to area frankford and told police he was shot about 10:00 last night 4900 block of charles street. police found shells and a gun, near that scene. another man was rushed to different hospital, with three gunshot wounds, and it is not clear if he was shot at the same place. >> the suspect in the shooting after philadelphia police officer has a preliminary hearing today. police say 20 year old sam ear coyet and his accomplice went

on crime spree. according to investigators officer james mccullough interrupted carjacking and was shot in the leg by griffin. coyett faces list of charges including attempted murder. meanwhile, jury selection in the federal corruption trial of congressman chaka fattah resumes this morning, the pennsylvania democrat is accused of excepting bribes and misusing campaign funds, and federal grants. fattah says he's done nothing wrong. opening arguments are scheduled for may 16th, in last week's primary, fattah lost a bid for a 12th term to state representative dwight evans. >> convicted pedifile jerry sandusky fighting for new trial. he yelled out a message as he walked into court. >> read what has been written. >> sandusky ' defense team has raided 33 issues with the original case. they are asking for an evidentiary hearing which could lead to a new trial. his attorneys argue sandusky didn't get a fair trial in 2012, largely, because of his previous attorneys.

their momentum. the challengers are trying to hold on. justin fin of live in the cbs-3 sat center. hey, justin? >> polls open in about a who have hour ago. no doubt the gop race running hot. indianna governor mike pence backing ted cruz as frontrunner donald trump scores support from big local name. former hoosiers basketball coach, bobby knight night, meantime the clinton sanders contest is as close as ever. >> if we win indianna, it is over. >> donald trump, looking to lock in a big win in indianna. where 57 delegate are at steak. mathematically the gop frontrunner inning ever closer to win, he is currently only 244 delegates away from clinching it. >> now i am going to start focusing on hillary clinton, it will be so east. >> i the latest pole shows trump with 15-point lead over ted cruz in indianna. cruz has been on the move in the hoosier state making five stops monday alone. despite challenges, second in line candidate still aims to

pull from trump and trigger contested convention. >> indianna don't want you. >> the entire country is depending on the state of indianna to pull us back from this cliff. >> it is a tough race for democrats, too, though hillary clinton has a commanding national lead, she and bernie sanders were at near tie by some counts in indianna where 92 delegates are on the table. another wrinkle, super delegates, who can't commit to either candidate now overwhelmingly backing clinton. sanders now asking them to reconsider. >> by far bernie sanders is the strongest candidate to defeat donald trump. >> i really do want to just get into it. >> clinton spent the day campaigning in kentucky and west virginia, where voters go to polls late this month. and, sanders is telling supporters, still has a chance at this, but trump is zeroing in on hillary clinton, ohio governor john kasich is on the indianna ballot even as polls in his home state show growing calls for him to drop out.

older sister, evelyn. amex is six years old, loves sport. >> your favorite? >> socker. >> alex has a lot of heart, but the heart needed a tuneup from the start. >> he was born with it. >> regulate the blood throw that goes to the pulmonary artery. unfortunately without that being formed, his one ventricle didn't form fully. and required several corrective surgeries. >> at just 27 days old, alex had his first surgery. the first of ten he would have in his young life. for parent colleen and bernie force, their lives were turn upside down. >> it is all kind of like a whirlwinds. you don't know what is happening. from like, you know, minute to minute, day-to-day. >> alex was doing good, right now. you know, one of those thing where you take it day it day. you know, if there is a day where he's not no hospital or needing a doctors appointment, then it is a great day. >> those great days become a
