caves in. >> reporter: neighbors trying to fill them with bricks and dirt that just keeps disappearing into an underground void. >> where is the dirt going? >> reporter: to a very large hole. >> yeah, where is it going. >> reporter: somewhere, something is very wrong. deep under the 3500 block of aldine street where over the past year, neighbors say, flood lawns have becoming rolling hills. sidewalks are rippling upward. patios cracking, and tilting. >> god forbid this hole, it is leaning, this pole, it is lining toward the street. >> i would like city to come out here and tell us what is going on. >> reporter: the water department officials neighbors say have come out, twice but so far they have provided no definitive answers. however, another city department, streets, did present this notice, telling ray and bash lowe to level their sidewalk, on a block when many other things are now tilting. >> to you wonder what is going on underneath there. >> yes, do i.

just keep on coming. >> it just keeps on coming and it has been a full week. today is day seven of the largely gray, glummy weather. the last tuesday was last time we had any decent sun and temperatures above average. we cannot break out of this pattern but eventually things do start to change as we head through weekend and next week. but first we have to get through another trio of gray days, lets take a peak outside, right now we will go down the shore and you can see how glummy, it is, those dark gray clouds, in ocean city. it is dry there you can get out for a walk on the boardwalk but with the clouds in place all day licensing not even a break of sunshine. it has been chilly. temperatures only in the 50's. with the breeze off the water you will need to bundle up if you take that stroll this evening. we saw blue sky in bernville in the poconos. you can see blue trying to peak through the cloud trying to find any little piece peak of sun we can get but we will stay cloudy through tonight. you can see here on storm scan three the cloud developing a little bit of the hole in portions of the area that may

be seeing sunshine before the sunsets in a couple of hours but that is best we can hope for. then more showers trying to creep in tonight. we have nasty storms in virginia, even a tornado warning has been issued in that area the good news, it is just too cool, cloudy and atmosphere too stable for severe weather to impact us. we will deal with the threat for showers overnight. next storm is up here this one will dive down thursday into friday and that will bring us our next threat for steadier rain. lets take a look what it looks like. the visible satellite shows a few holes in the included cover but not enough to warm us up, we will stay in the 50's through this weekend. fifty-seven in philadelphia, only 55 in millville right now. scattered showers, steady rain to the north and west of philadelphia in the morning and then it looks like intensification of the rain down the shore tomorrow afternoon. here comes this storm. it dives to the south. thursday not much more than a stray shower but watch what happens this storm head off the coast, draws in more moisture and then friday starts wet and most of the the day we could be dealing with some steady rainfall.
