weekend this morning. >> we have got two accidents and construction, causing major slow downs. we will get to that in a moment. >> thankfully weather will not have have a huge impact this morning. we're in the looking at much sunshine so sun glare is in the a problem, fortunately but we are not looking at too much wet weather. that is good news. it is still glummy looking at live neighborhood network. the this is one camera the shot where you can see clouds are still out there. at least visibility is not too poor, in problem at this point making out that center city sky line off in the distance. storm scan is empty, that hasn't happened for a while. we will zoom it out and throw satellite coverage overtop, we have clouds to contend with. i'm in the saying it is a totally dry day but more cloudy then it is, wet. we just will see drizzle, shower and this is what kind of day where i have the jacket but leave umbrella in the closet today here for a change. forty-seven is current temperature in trenton as well as atlantic city. cool start to the day.

we weren't even in the the 30's in mount pocono. we have turned over in the 40's at this point. that is the story around the whole region. forty's, i mean it feels like wintertime outside for sure. looking ahead in the eyewitness day planner, nothing better than upper 50's here today. far cry from seasonal and it will be a little bit of dampness with a shower, little drizzle but we are in the dealing with any soaking rain. that will change, meisha, tomorrow. >> ahh, all right, katie. >> all right. >> thanks very much. >> good morning, everybody. happy thursday, to you. you know, busy morning indeed, another one on tap for you. we are looking at an accident at eastbound vine from the on ramp from the schuylkill, shelledder squeezing by, now you can see all lanes are block right here as we are trying to get this maneuvered out of your way. eastbound vine from the on ram to the schuylkill there. we will see headlights north bound but look over this way taillights, i the five taillights moving in the southbound direction near route 320. this is just before the commodore barry bridge. all lanes are block because of

an accident here. if i were you at home thinking about heading out in that area use an alternate, route 13 or avoid it if at all possible. headlights moving in the north bound direction what you are kind of snail crawling toward is construction, construction i-95 north at the blue route. ramp to the right lane, right lane is block, and now ramps to the blue route is closed moving in the north bound direction towards construction. those are all of the cars moving in the southbound direction heading toward that accident. there has been a dead stop. for those just waking up to this thinking about going out in this area i would avoid it at all costs if you can. you will in the go anywhere. alternate is route 13 to that accident. jim, back over to you. well, manhunt continues this morning for an escaped price other in south jersey. nearly a dozen police departments are now helping with the search for arthur buckel. >> that search has shifted from winslow township camden county to barnegat township ocean county. "eyewitness news" reporter jan carabao joins us with the very

latest, jan. >> reporter: brooke abe jim, good morning. barnegat township police and ten other districts all in total have been searching around the clock for this escaped prisoner and they say they will continue to do so, until he is either caught, or is confirmed that he has moved out of this area. in the meantime barnegat township schools will be opened today, but police officers will be at each and everyone of them, while this person is still out here, on the loose. lets take a look at the video this escaped prisoner has caused an all out manhunt, 38 year-old arthur buckel, ten departments in total have been searching for him including a coast gar helicopter. the search pick up here in barnegat township yesterday morning, after the fugitive was spotted on surveillance video entering a cvs pharmacy on west bay avenue. police found a white pickup truck ditched outside the store and believed buckel stole that vehicle after escaping from a prison in winslow township on tuesday. barnegat township schools were placed on lock down as a result yesterday and residents were asked to lock their doors

and secure their cars. up until this point search efforts have been a bit hampered by bad weather and heavy rain, night fall has not helped either but lay enforcement the has worked tirelessly in its effort to recapture this prisoner. now buckel was serving time for aggravated assault, i could face an additional three to five years in prison once captured. barnegat police and ten districtness total are searching for this man this morning and they are continuing that search, at this hour, we saw some people moving around here at barnegat township police department, where we first arrived, they are asking folks, residents and immediate vicinity to lock their cars, they, locked their cars and doors keep their properties locked and be vigilant and to report any suspicious activity. of course, we will continue to up to tait but for now we are live, in barnegat township jan carabao for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". >> thanks very much, jan. new a woman suffered second degree burns when fire

breaks out overnight in the ogontz section of philadelphia. medics rushed that woman to einstein hospital in stable condition. in word on what spark the fire which reportly started inside have of a bedroom. crews smashed that second floor window that got the fire under control in about 20 minutes. everyone inside escaped this house fire in kensington. the flames broke out at 2:00 in the morning on the 1800 block of east monmouth street and fire fighters had fire under control in 15 minutes. there were no injuries. investigators are searching for the cause. new jersey's assembly could vote on yet another rescue plan for atlantic city, bill advocated by assembly speaker vincent preto would create a commission to delay a state the take ever for two years. senate version of the similar bill would give atlantic city just 130 days to get its financial house in order. the city is on the verge of going broke. in a race for the white house donald trump is the last republican standing. trump emerged as parties

from the atlantic we will end up with steady rain. area of low pressure, here it is, slowly but surely through the day today and into tomorrow coming through here and as it does it is drawing in that moisture. that is where we will see steady rain. i want to walk you through future weather late tonight and tomorrow. there will be some showers, through the overnight occasional rain and then tomorrow look at this like a shield of rape that just comes in from south east to northwest so basically the further inland and off to the north you reside the later this will get to you. however it it does look like it will be with us for first half of the day especially and rotate back into central pennsylvania through second half of day and we will than left with additional showers that could come anytime on a saturday. we have to show you this, we have even got shake, shake, shake. today is soft taco day in my house but happy cinco de mayo, cool, cloudy, damp with drizzle kind of day but today is a day you can probably getaway without an umbrella tomorrow do in the leave the house without it.

basically anywhere, i-95, around route 320, blue route, both moving in the north and southbound direction because of that accident and construction, very, very slow. if you can avoid this area, absolutely do so, if you cannot avoid this area, you will be sitting in this or use that alternate route 13. otherwise that construction is slowly getting moved out of the way. we have another accident on the vine eastbound vine from the on ramp to the schuylkill that has been since cleared. we are looking good there. overall it is still early but it has been a busy morning, brooke, over to you. former heisman trophy winner johnny manziel is scheduled to appear in the dallas courtroom to face charges he assaulted his girl friend. manziel turned himself in yesterday and posted $1,500 bail. the 2012 heisman winner and former browns quarterback is a free agent since browns released him. phillies robbed cardinals the of the home run but would it be enough to get another win? the eagles eyeing up more personnel changes.
