keeping an eye on things this morning. >> yes, we are indeed. starting off with a bang, we had some flooding also some construction, that doesn't stop construction, even though we have the rain. so it is bus. >> i very busy, definitely the weather playing huge roll. you have to be slowing it downment looking at the storm in its entirety, big guy, rotating just off to the south here with center of circulation it, means all of the moisture with the counter clockwise circulation with this getting drawn in from the open waters of the atlantic, along with the storm itself. you got some soaking rainout there. as meisha mentioned, minor flooding out, there as well. i show this version of storm scan, snapshot, get idea where the heaviest rain is currently falling, delaware beaches getting clocked right now along kent and sussex county, northwestern burlington county, portions of gloucester, camden, where you are finding the heaviest but obviously almost everybody is in this now. and this is going to be with us all morning long. now, we mention the flooding, coastal flood warning currently in effect, it will linger until 1:00 a.m. saturday, so it is the entire

day and into the early morning hours of tomorrow, that moderate flood something still a concern for the high tide cycles coming in. you will want to play it safe out there. you know what the flood do if you live in those communities. that said, we take look what it looks like right now outside. not too windy, thankfully, but definitely raw, and wet, 51 degrees at the airport, and as we look throughout the course of the day, granted, see this taper off to showers, but the whole day is soggy, umbrellas required, meisha. >> all right, and another day to stay indoors and drink more coffee. sounds good to me, katie, thank you for that. tgif you guys. what we are looking at, construction, 95 ramps, flipped the camera on us, whirling around, looking how slow moving this is. again we've been used to the construction spot, dealing with it all week long now, but certainly doesn't matter. still very, very slow out there. so the ramp to the blue route still blocked. that's probably going to be pick up fairly quickly, just watching crews here, 95 north leading up to the blue route, picking up those cones, moving those out of your way, they are in the process every getting those out of the way.

two right lanes still block, causing slow downs, look at the droplet on the camera lens, very, very wet out there. it will slow a lot of us down this morning, so if i were you, i would give yourself extra time. construction here, right before this area, 42 south between 29 the a and creek road, where the construction is. left lane block until right around 6:00 a.m. so 42 freeway northbound right here for those every in you jersey this is what you are looking at outside. things are looking pretty slow moving already. >> terrifying night for woman viciously attack by a pitbull in north philadelphia. >> several neighbors call police after hearing the victim screaming for help. attack happened after midnight on the 3200 block of north american street. when officers got to the scene, the woman actually jumped on to the police car to try to get away. when the dog wouldn't let go, they opened fire. >> police saw that the dog continued to bite this female. and they did what they had to do. they fired just two shots. >> the dog died at the scene. the 27 year old woman is in

stable condition. >> meanwhile, a dangerous situation as rocks and bricks rain down on truck drivers on the pennsylvania turnpike. >> now, police are looking for the person responsible for putting lives in danger. "eyewitness news" reporter jan carabeo live at the scene this morning in bristol township. hi, jan. >> brooke, jim, good morning, this is very scary stuff that we're talking about, and here is the overpass, that is oxford valley road, which runs over the pennsylvania turnpike, here in bristol township, bucks county, state police say someone was throwing rocks and bricks at vehicles passing underneath yesterday, three trucks were hit, and one driver was hurt, fortunately, no one was killed. but you can see, if you take a look at the video, how close this came to becoming very serious. look at all of the damage to these trucks. the windshields, cracks, framed bent, mirrors damaged, now, all of this happened on the eastbound lanes of the pennsylvania turnpike, here in bristol. of course this is a very busy area. police say the first truck was hit by rocks around

6:00 yesterday evening. the second and third trucks hit five minute later in the very same spot under the oxford valley road overpass. police say those two trucks were hit not only by rocks but by bricks too. one brick even broke through the third drivers windshield, he was cut on the face, taken by ambulance to lower bucks hospital. "eyewitness news" spoke to two of the drivers involved here. they say their job is hard enough just navigating the roads and other drivers without having to worry about this. >> the rocks come at you so fast, you really have to react fast, if you don't react fast it could have been a real big pile up back there if i didn't hold onto my steering wheel and keep straight. >> i didn't see the bricks coming but i heard a big crash, glass all over me, all over my face. kids don't realize you can kill somebody. >> very serious situation indeed. now there have been no arrests, if anyone has information, they're asked to call police. reporting live in bristol township bucks county this morning, jan carabeo, cbs-3, "eyewitness news", jim, brooke, back into you.

>> thank you very much, jan. >> police say the man in this sketch is connect today a road rage shooting incident on the blue route. it involves a blue mitsubishi near west conshohocken cons. police say someone in a dark blue lincoln town care singled bullet. shooter last seen going northbound on 476. he was wearing dark colored flat brim baseball cap. >> escaped prisoner still on the run this morning in south jersey. police suspended their search for arthur bucknell barn at that time township. he was caught on surveillance video at cvs, and police think he stole a truck and left it there too. authority say resident will still see an increased police presence in barnegat township and they'll see a police officer still at every single school today. >> well, presumptive gop nominee donald trump is struggling to build unity within his own party. house speaker paul ryan refuses to support trump, and

hena daniels with the latest on the campaign trail, and suggesting bernie sands kearse bailout so she can take on trump. >> donald trump pressed ahead with his campaign thursday. urging supporters in west virginia to save their energy for november. >> save your vote for the general election, okay, forget this one, the primaries gone. >> despite being the only candidate left standing on the gop side, trump is facing difficulty building support within the party. yesterday, house speaker paul ryan, became the latest voice refusing to back his candidacy. >> i'm just not ready to do that at this point. i'm not there right now. i think what is necessary to make this work, for this to unify; to actually take our principals and advance them. >> trump fired back in a statement, saying he he's not ready to support speaker ryan's agenda. he saved his sharpest jams. night for likely democratic opponent hillary clinton. branding her family foundation a scam. >> i gave money to the foundation, i i think maybe they'll use it properly.

pock lips. something that you would see in a movie. and in a disaster move. >> i cbs-3, "eyewitness news". >> we have too many days of rain, they don't have enough rain. katie is tracking the rain. >> yes, you know what, guys, almost as though when you see one extreme, you see so much of the opposite going on somewhere else in either the country or in the world, and that's exactly what's happening here. we have just had day after day of gloomy conditions here, where they can't get a drop of rain up near alberta. so just a way the pattern has evolved. and we've had similar situations like this with the drought in california. so it just depends, been certainly here this has been very gloomy pattern, it continues, and i would say really culminates here today. let's take a look outside. see what's hooping nerve in the live neighborhood network. we look from palmyra cove nature park, off in the distance see the center city

skyline, very much shroud in the clouds, rain still falling, not particularly obvious, when you look at a dark shot like this, but it is raining. and storm scan is definitely going to back me up on that one. looking at storm scan here at the wider zoom, notice how everything is sort of rotating through. do you see that? the center of circulation with the storm actually to the south. that allows the counter clockwise circulation, mice tour to get drawn in from the open watt earth of the atlantic, part of the reason the rain coming down as heavily as it is, remember, the brighter the shade on storm scan, the more intense the rainfall. and we've got some yellows and even hint of some orange showing up across the kent and sussex county border so it is very, very significant, if you haven't seen the raindrops start yet, berks, lancaster county, talking to you, give it time. on the way. everyone will get hit by. >> this so we walk you through future weather, like how this particular run is initializing, plenty decent outline where the brunt of the rain currently stands. soap, through the morning drive, it is all just creeping inland, as it does so, everybody stays wet. there will be weather spots than others, in other words,
