down the shore right now, light in intensity but sea isle city you're getting a round of shower activity stretching up into egg harbor but that will move off to the east. also, seeing that sunshine breaking out west of the city, a defined clearing line. as i continue to move east, the sunshine will be revealed, pulled up behind the curtain so center city philadelphia really over next hour that sunshine will break out. so we will see it before the sun does set. that is a good way to end the workweek. temperatures right new we have warmed up significantly over last two hours in lancaster with that sunshine breaking out now at 37 degrees. fifty-eight in philadelphia we are at where we have see low clouds we are held back in the mid 60's. sixty-six in millville. really nice conditions, by first pitch tonight, and 67 degrees with that sunshine breaking out, mild conditions, if you are heading out to see phillies but we do have have, of course, more rain in the forecast for upcoming weekend. we will talk about the timing and which day will be the driest coming up.

>> lauren, thank you. search continues for a black bear that was spotted passing through parts of the montgomery county and philadelphia it was last seen swimming across the wissohickon creek. "eyewitness news" reporter natasha brown joins us from fair mount park with the plan to track it down, natasha. >> reporter: well, we can tell you right now very tranquil setting here along the wissohickon creek but there was excitement earlier this afternoon when a bear did it's a experience. rare sight in the wissohickon creek as a black bear made an a experience out of in where. cheryl, didn't see the bear but she wishes she had. >> told me it was a bear and i was so excited, bear was swimming in the water. and, when it, when the police came here it went right up. >> reporter: this captured with cell phone picture of the bear swimming in the creek near forbidden drive and valley green road in upper roxborough. after frolicking in the water probably hunting for fish you can see the bear crossing the creek heading up the

embankment and then disappearing in the woods. >> this time of the year they are looking for food and usually bears from last year they are looking, they get kicked out. mom says go find your own territory. they are looking for their own territory and they are all of the corridors that the bear wondered threw up your dublin, springfield and into philadelphia. >> reporter: wild life officers are urging public to exercise caution as they try to find the bear and get it safely back into its natural habitat. >> just the public if they see it, call in and you know, spot it, stay away, keep your dogs on the leash because bear encounters your dog off the leash there might be an issue with that. >> wild life officers have been scouring this area, since about noon time today. we understand they are still out here, somewhere looking for this bear hoping to tranquilize it as quickly as possible get back in the natural habitat but before it ultimately ventures into more populated areas. that is very latest live from the wissohickon creek in upper roxborough, natasha brown,

snuka is mentally competent to stand trial. psychologist testified today that snuka suffers from dementia and is mentally inn competent ten. he lives in water ford township camden county and charged with murder and involuntary manslaughter in the 83 death of his then girlfriend 23 year-old nancy argentino. snooki pleaded not guilty. in campaign 2016, former president bill clinton is in new jersey rallying supporter for his wife hillary clinton ahead of the garden state's june 7th primary. clinton spoke during a rally at college of new jersey in ewing today. former president says democratic front runner has the most experience to be the next commander in chief. hillary clinton was off the campaign trail today. clinton's rival bernie sanders rallying supporters, a rally in fargo north dakota sanders told supporters he has a chance to end the democratic presidential nomination, with more pledged delegates. sanders also says he has the best chance to win the general

couple of hours, before sunset. but, rain amounts today as i mentioned impressive up toward lehigh valley with the half inch of rainfall. quarter inch in mount pocono. .2 at philly international, and now, we have only had two dry days, so far this month coming in. just over a tenth of an inch in mount holly. storm scan three showing us, showers continuing to move off shore, few lingering white showers down the shore right now but dry conditions. check out this extremely defined clearing line. you will go from overcast conditions, to sunshine, once this curtain is pulled back and cloud deck will continue, to erode off to the east and we will see increasing sunshine, as we head in the next couple of hours, before sunset after 8:00 this evening. up wind, nothing on storm scan three. we will have a quiet period for about, 18 hours, maybe a little bit more than that before more storms enter in the forecast but for temperatures they are climbing, especially where sunshine has broken out over last couple hours. one from mid 60's to lower

07's in lancaster just over last couple hours. 68 degrees right now in philly. zero seven in wilmington with some sunshine breaking out but it certainly is muggy out there dew points up in the lower 60's, many reporting sites, hovering to near 70 degrees in dover. that means it is feeling humid, certainly steamy and some cases, board he line oppressive on our comfort index. dew points tell us about that sticky factor near surface but they will start to relax as we head in the overnight period. feeling much more comfortable by morning. mostly clear conditions, mild tonight only dropping down to 57 degrees. tomorrow mostly sunny for first half of the day. 74 degrees. scattered showers and then are storms developing for second half of the day. a few of those could be on the stronger side in the delaware valley, we have a marginal risk of severe weather. we can see stronger storms maybe an isolated severe storm but severe weather will be widespread. future weather showing us first half of the day looks great. outdoor plans, morning time is the time to do it because in

the afternoon we will get this line of showers and embedded thunderstorms moving through late afternoon, early evening hours and then by late evening, it all clears on out but quick hit and stronger storms, high temperatures tomorrow generally in the low to mid 70's along i-95 corridor. cooler up toward lehigh valley and cooler for everyone by sunday, 61 degrees. windy conditions, some sunshine and it looks like a dry day, monday looks pretty nice, sunshine in store, high temperatures still running below average in the middle 60's and it looks like we could have a nice high pressure system setting up for end of next week maybe a couple of sunny days in a row but, you know. >> come on high
