on board when the egypt air jet disappeared from radar, and went down near the island of krete. tina krause fouling the latest developments from london. >> distraut family members rushed to the airport in paris and cairo, after hearing each of air flight 804 vanished from radar. >> greece defense minister said the plane flying at 37,000 feet on it way from paris to cairo, when it suddenly dropped and spun sharply. search teams have reportedly fawn items floating in the med terrain jane sea not far from the location near the greek island of crete. they hold they can finds wreckage to determine clues to what happened. >> the situation properly, the possibility of having a different action or having a terror attack is higher than the possibility of having a technical -- >> experts say the plane's black boxes must be found before reaching any conclusion. >> could it have been pilot

"eyewitness news" reporter justin finch has more from philadelphia international airport. >> philadelphia international, seeing unlike what many passengers are seeing at the nation's busiest airport. major hubs from coast-to-coast where airline insiders note passengers are waiting upward of two hours to clear airport security checkpoints. >> like three times the last couple of days. >> to help, $4 million hiring contractors, be there jobs, to move passengers to tsa checkpoints faster, southwest, some workers now awe signed to help move lines along. >> we can't do the tsa job for them. but we can at least lends a hands, if it is not a security specific position. >> last week congress approved $34 million to hire more tsa officers, tune pay over time to manage the long lines. but the house homelands security committee says that's

not enough. >> this is a crisis. and it demands that congress act. and that's what i intends to do. >> it is like pre-check. where you don't have to take off your coat or your belt or your shoes, because they can smell any explosives. >> senators chuck schumer of new york and bob kacie of pennsylvania calling for more bomb sniffing k9's to work checkpoints, and many congress members want better programs for recruiting and retaining tsa officers. to get yourself through the lines faster, tsa says to keep your carry on bags within those dimensions, they're also tried signing up for pre check, that's pay service that will get you through the lines faster. also, pennsylvania senator bob casey pointed out tsa is working with budget of $250 million less than it had back in 2011, of course, as more americans are flying. at the airport, justin finch, cbs-3, "eyewitness news". philadelphia's department of licenses and inspections is expected to tear down home in west philly today that some

for a change, right? quick peak here at storm scan3, which remains empty at the moment, say for couple of clouds. now, we have, again, few clouds out there, even over our broadcast center here in center city philadelphia. but the sun really is doing it part to help warm things up for a change. we are currently into the 70s, couple of spots, like millville, flirting with it right now along i-95, 68 is the magic number from philly up to trenton, but do expect to add few additional degrees to the daytime high here. we should get to about 74, generally speaking, with sunshine for the rest of the afternoon. pair of six's the expectation around the resort towns in general, you are just looking at a quiet afternoon and pretty nice afternoon at that. specially by comparison to recent days, even despite what's left of the cloud cover. looking at the temperatures in the last few days, we haven't even been able to crack 70 degrees. today we will do it, the average high is 75, so today looks a lot more typical. tomorrow even little warmer, and we are going to discuss that sunshine and the warmth once more for you here down the road, in the rest of the show. but also, that chance for rain

of trump's comments costing him female vote when he said, quote, there are probably more ugly women in america than attractive women. people take that stuff personally. well, we caught up with rendell at 30th street station. >> when i read the article, i said, did i say that? just dumb and stupid, and insensitive, and if i offended anybody, i apologize sincerely. >> we all have the sort of self image qualms or questions about ourselves. and by attacking someone's looks, attacking an awful lot of people. that was the pointy was trying it make, but i sure picked a lousy twi say it. >> the governor is no stranger to controversy, in 2010, he said the us had become a nice of whoos' following postponement of eagles game due a snowstorm. in campaign 2016, donald trump will be in lawrenceville, new jersey tonight for funds restorer help erase governor christies' campaign debt. christie dropped out of the race back in february and is now heading trump's transition team.
