upcoming on "eyewitness news" at 5:00. >> our other top story, grief counselors, are on hand, at burlington county high school after a student was hit and killed by a car over the weekend. jan carabeo zones us the scene and why police think the driver hit that 17 year old. >> as burlington city high school student walk to class today, some, also passed by the spot of the deadly accident, involving one of their piers, antoin timbers, jr., was struck and killed at this corner in burlington city on sunday, by a man police suspect was under the influence. >> everybody loved him. sad, sad he died, though, he didn't deserve it, he wanted to go in the arm. >> i senior brian, wore all black today in memory of his friends, he remembers timber's love of sports and infectious smile. >> was wrestling on the wrestling team with me, practices used to be funny because he used to be out of breath, always yell coach, i'm trying, man, i'm trying.

you any antoin you smile, you think laugh laughter, happiness. >> accident happened just after midnight at the corner of route 130 south and east federal street, the 17 year old victim was out with a friends. police say the teenager was walking alongside of the road when he was hit. the impact was so strong, that it cut that utility pole in half. >> it is sad because he was one of my clients. >> malik ellis is a manager at the corner barber shop. he has seen bad crashes at this intersection, the driver in this accident, identified as ricardo patterson the third remained on scene, police have charged the 42 year old willingboro resident with driving under the influence and wreckless driving. the burlington county prosecutor's offers will now determine if criminal charges are filed, and investigators are awaiting the results of toxicology tests. in the meantime, a go fund me page is set up to help the teenagers' family and grief counselors helping student deal with the sudden lost. >> as i said, that's my kid's cousin, you know, he was just really good kid.

yes, he will be really missed. >> in burlington city, jan carabeo, cbs-3, "eyewitness news". >> thirty-eight year old man is fighting for his life after an early morning shooting in the hunting park section of philadelphia. police say the man was shot in the back of the head from close range last night around 10:00 near fairhill and hunting park avenue. currently on life support. police say he was shot in front of his own home. investigators hope to get some clues from nearby security cameras. >> there is now a $5,000 reward offered for information on a triple shooting in chester that claimed the life of a 14 year old boy. police say a 16 year old in is in critical condition, and 32 year old woman is in stable condition. it happened saturday night around 8:00 near tenth and pine streets. if you have any information on this violence, police call chester police. well, two rail workers are recovering this noon after getting hurt on the job overnight. the workers were operating a piece of construction equipment near the patco woodcrest station when it flipped over and tossed them on to the track.

they were taken to an area hospital treated and released. it is unclear what caused the equipment problem. patco is running on 15 minute emergency schedule, while crews work on clearing the rail. well, the sun is actually out, enjoy it, some rain chances in the forecast, before the switch flips to summer like weather. let's get first look at the forecast with meteorologist, katie fehlinger live on the cbs-3 skydeck, katy? >> jim, great way of putting it, almost like switch will be flipped, as the days ahead here where it is almost like all the sudden, okay, we decided it will feel like july. just wait until that happens. but for now, it feels real comfortable out on the sky dick, bright blue skies, minimal cloud cover, will likely not last forever, however, because when we go to storm scan3, what you will notice immediately your eye gets just gets drawn, so what's happening to the south and east here, an area of low pressure, just disturbing, rotating through the mid-atlantic, just close enough that we will eventually see some of the clouds rebuild and thick answer bit more, and

>> welcome back, attorneys for tom brady noon ask for another hearing in the deflate gate case. brady faces four game suspension at the start of this coming football season. ffl said he was involved in under inflating footballs to make them easier to catch during the 2015afc title game. courts have gone back and forth on the suspension.

brady maintains his innocence. meanwhile, wisconsin woman faces charges that could put her behind bars for nearly half a century, and we're getting a look at what got her into so much trouble t started as a traffic stop, dash cam video, milwaukee county sheriff's department shows freeman throwing her car into reverse, and hitting a patrol car. the impact knocked down two deputies and a passenger, authorities caught up with freeman a few days later when they pull her over for speeding. they suspended her license on the spot. she could wine up in jail, for 45 years. >> new details are emerging in the mysterious death of the of the legendary pop superstar prince. according to the minneapolis star tribune, prince may have been dead for up to six hours, before his body was found inside his home, april 21st. a responding paramedic shared this theory newspaper staff and police. investigators are looking into whether prince died from an overdose, and whether a doctor was prescribing him drugs. >> prince was 57.

trist or more. so far this month over 5 inches of rain, have fallen, that is un heard of, and we actually have already seen 2 inches every rain this past weekend alone. so it has been awfully dreary. still looking like that outside beach patrol headquarters at this hour, a lot more cloud cover than anything. meanwhile do you have little more sunshine head further inland, further off to the north, the latest shot for you here in the live neighborhood out burn ville, baseball diamond here, no one playing on it yet but decent afternoon for t another spot off to the north, out at camelback water resort, will be opening this up this weekend for memorial day, yes, getting ready here, see the fake palm trees, i love it, beach chairs, getting the water all ready to go t does look right now as though we will keep some summertime heat around in time for the holiday weekends, which we will discuss in the seven day. let's look what's going on with the latest disturbance, see how it is rotating nearby, you still have some clouds, these are likely to filter in little bit more.
