a car while crossing the boulevard yesterday afternoon. she was thrown into the windshield and suffered major head injuries. the victim was pronounced dead just before one o'clock this afternoon. a three year old is in the hospital after falling out of a second floor window in germantown. paramedics rushed to the scene on the 500 block of man lime street. the little girl injured her head. right now doctors are treating her at st. christopher hospital. while, what led to the fall. crews have recovered a plane that crashed into the hudson river. a large crane pulled the wreckage out of the water today. the world war ii plane had taken off from republic airport in long island and sent out a distress signal before going down. the body of the pilot 56 year old from florida was recovered yesterday cause is under investigation. ? >> 82 campaign 2016 they are battling for california this holiday weekend.

its not known what caused the damage peco is working to restore power. this is the third manhole explosion in a week. it happened in washington square west monday. and 30th street station last saturday no one was injured in any of these incidents. more than 19 hundred my grants have been rescued and 16 operations rescues involved coast guard navy tug boats and says sals. most of the rescues were made off the coast in the subterranean sea, some did cap size and dozens of people are still missing. meanwhile pope frances met with 400 children today at the vatican. some were my grants who had been rescued. and the theme of today's meeting with referring to to those children who had traveled across medicine tear rainian of the the holy father repeat he ted his cause to open their doors to my

grants. severe weather is impacting two regions. two people are dead following flooding in texas and kansas. tonight there are warnings posted for the south carolina coast as tropical storm bonnie travels . . . the rain cleared saturday in harris county texas. but the damage was already done. vehicles sat submerged after water turns roads into streams. flooded roads. which delivered you will him to the other side where he was righted. it was one of dozens of water rescues the past couple days since the rain started thursday. this family also needed help after they became trapped. >> scared for my house but were good. >> reporter: central kansas search teams are still looking for an 11 year old boy who was swept away by a swollen creek friday night. >> we'll be out here all day and as long as it takes. until we find him. >> reporter: the surf is roaring

four becoming major hurricanes or category three, four or five. some of the names, we have alex with a hurricane that formed in january very rare system. a hurricane that impacted berm my da we do have tropical storm bonnie. what doesn't actually officially begin until next wednesday june first. severe off the southeast coast. tons of moisture. taking a look at some of the model projections, that moisture is going to ride up along the coast and into the delaware valley really creating a ripe atmosphere as we head into monday. right now storm scan 3 showing us terrible start to the holiday weekend along the southeastern coast line as bonnie pushes all that moisture. rain continuing to fall. crowd and mer tell beach but a little back closer to home sunshine right now across much of the delaware valley with exception of the thunderstorms that have been popping up up

towards carbon and monroe counties. they are moving slowly producing heavy amount of rainfall. saw reports of small hail and gusty winds to 40 miles an hour 10 miles per hour. that's pretty slow no storms as we check in on our neighborhood network, look at that scene looks so night. board walk in rehobeth beach, umbrellas out, swimsuits out everyone have having a good time. temperature conducive to hanging atoning the beach. warmer in the city 88 degrees right now up into the lee you high valley 90 degrees. along the coast line check out some of these temperatures cooler in ocean city 71 degrees with all that sunshine feeling nice. still pretty chilly only the, going into take a dip 68 degrees. due points tell us about the moisture factor how sticky it feels when you step outside.

we have humid factor that has been in place over the last self days that's going to stick around. mild and muggy falling back to 68 degrees. for tomorrow 86 still pretty hot humid a mix of sunday sun and clouds with spotty thunderstorms. yet another steamy day. these would be the dewpoint values we're steamy conditions for tomorrow dewpoint will be back into the middle 60 and even into monday it will still be humid that's our best rain chance of the three day holiday. 81 degrees. periods of rain and rumbles as we contend with that tropical moisture that will be moving in late tomorrow night. showing us future weather, especially along the coast a good bit of sunshine throughout the afternoon hours. might be under playing our spotty storm chances we head into late day just a bit. best chance of rain will certaintily kin the over night period after hitter night tomorrow night.

check out monday morning. not a great start to the holiday there. could be some sunshine improving conditions as we head into monday afternoon. we'll still have to watch out for some scattered storms popping up. the bet half of the day is going to be later in the day on monday. high temperatures tomorrow. still very hot especially in the lehigh valley topping at 90 degrees along the coast. temperatures very conducive to the action up into the upper 70s to near 80 degrees. there's your chance of rain on monday especially for the first half of the day. and then if you are lucky enough to have the entire week off you are going to get some nice weather 85 degrees on tuesday much lower humidity by wednesday with nice sunshine. >> absolutely. also conducive to barbecuing,. >> the phillies continue their road trip. game two between the phillies and cubs so far the six game midwest road trip hasn't gone well. once again the phillies bats missing in action. let's head for rig lee field.
