are heading our way bringing heavy winds and. looks like we are in for a soggy memorial day. >> let's get right to meteorologist lauren casey she's got the latest on the storm high lauren. hey, you might have noticed changes as you look outside. we had a sunshine for much of the day. now the clouds are increasing getting a live look at center city philadelphia. clouds certainly in place right now. temperatures 81 degrees. south wind up around 13 miles per hour. dewpoint 67 degrees. you have steamy conditions in place. temperatures across the area hot. 87 degrees in allentown. cooler down the shore. a nice beach day. increase in clouds in advance of the moisture moving in in association with bonnie. temperatures down the shore a little keel see breeze kicking in 70 degrees ocean temperatures

chilly at 56 degrees. clouds are rolling in. also shower activity starting to move in on storm scan 3. showers moving into delaware county tea. up i95 corridor this in association with moisture from bonnie the system itself center of circulation as you can see right here right around the charleston south carolina area is well to our south. we're not going to deal with that center of. continues to live north in bringing shower activity into into our area. rainfall light to moderate. break out umbrellas as we head into the next couple of hours. we'll continue to see the shower activity pick up. all of that moisture is heading its way into the mid atlantic and northeast. tropical moisture means a very saturated at months fee will fear. heavy rainfall tonight and through your memorial day holiday. i'll talk about the timing and when the rain will move in and move out. >> remembering our heros special

>> today wasn't a typical sunday at a delaware county church. this morning more than 200 people gathered in glen mills help feed the hungry. they assembled 10 thousand millions in just an hour. >> this is the sound of hung degree children being fed. within thousand meals or assembled. didn't hold regular services this morning instead members made 10 thousand meals for the organization stop hunger now. meals were made with white rise, dehydrated vegetables and can be boiled in water. sent to 35 country and distributed through feeding programs. >> hungry kids can have a choice to come to school to get fed rather than the alternative, which is much less desirable garbage or back on the street. >> i was a runner, we had to run food back and forth from the people who packed it and people

and intensity as we head into tonight and through the day tomorrow. for your memorial day unfortunately it is going to be a wet one. showers and storms in the forecast rainfall heavy at times. temperatures cooler 70 degrees right around average for us. it is going to be humid with tropical moisture in place. for today got in another run of sunshine 86 degrees high temperature in philadelphia near 90 in lehigh valley topped at 81 degrees ac on this sunday great beach day. temperatures 81 in philly. 87 degrees in allentown. cooler down tours delaware clouds increasing we've seen shower and thunderstorms activity. as i was talking about the moisture letters, due points tell us about the stick sixty three factor due points near 70 degrees it is very humid down in dover. due points in the middle 70s they really don't get any higher than that so just down right steamy. and that is attribute ed to the tropical moisture that's

continuing to build into our atmosphere on the sourly flow. little bit of a breeze 10 to 15 miles per hour. winds are going to be a non factor as we deal with the impact from bog knee. its going to be the heavy rainfall an saturated atmosphere. moisture moving in. shower activity mainly south. city. center of circulation of bonnie is still well to our south down over the carolinas right now. and we can see though even moisture is starting to bill low in right now. storm scan 3 kind of light pocket of moderate rainfall moving into center city moving from south south to morning up log along the i95 corridor. if you have plans to barbecue they might be spoiled especially south of philadelphia. future weather show us as we head into the latter portion of the evening hours, shower activity is going to increase in the curb rach and rainfall is going to increase intensity. see returns there yellow, oranges and reds inned

indicating pocket of heavy rainfall as we head into tomorrow morning rain gets going tomorrow. periods of heavy rainfall, a few storms could be on the stronger side. wind speeds not a problem. not only five miles per hour through the day tomorrow we are going to have very light wind speeds dealing with periods of heavy rain and high temperatures in the upper 70s what to expect we are going to deal with periods of rain especially for first half of the day with thunderstorms and the rain will be heavy at times even store rental at times. just because of the saturated nature of the atmosphere because of this tropical moisture. we are going to have light wind speed. flooding down the shore is not so much of a concern we're not going to see the strong on shore flow we can see localized street flooding. future better is going to show us that heavy rain continuing steady at times as we head into the afternoon. we can sea breaks of sunshine we'll still see scattered shower
