on scene just after 12:00 this morning, calls to the 1900 block of pratt and frankford just north of torresdale avenue. outside they found a 13 year old girl wrapped in a blanket complaining that she had been sexually assaulted in her home by a male family member. when officers knocked on her front door there was no answer, first search for suspect led police to a next-door landing from where they saw through a second floor window that girl's mother was bleeding heavily from her head. police say she suffered severe blunt force trauma to her face, left bleed nag bed with several teeth missing. barricaded subject call was made, swat officers went in, and got that mother out. and downstairs in that home's basement police say the teen told them she was raped by the male family member. that will suspect is believed to have run from that house naked, and police say they know who he is and may soon get a chance to see his get

away. >> fortunately along the block, the 1900 block of pratt street, we found several properties with exterior cameras. so even though we're looking from a known offenders, hopefully these cameras can help us with this investigation. >> and looking live down pratt right now we are told the crime scene investigation unit is on their way to process this home, the special victims unit also on the investigation, as well, as for that 38 year old mother, she was taken to einstein, we are told, that she is in critical condition, that 13 year old girl was taken to st. christopher's for full exam. we are told she is otherwise okay. but we will do a rape kit for this investigation. this suspect now facing charges of aggravated assault of that mother, and the possible rape of this 13 year old girl. live here in frankford, justin finch, cbs-3, "eyewitness news", jim, brooke, back into you. >> new this morning, police are looking for three suspect wanted for home invasion in delaware county.

"eyewitness news" was in prospect park where police say three robbers armed with a shotgun broke into a home on the 200 block of lafayette avenue. the homeowner suffered minor injuries, no details yet, on what was taken. investigators are trying to pinpoint what sparked a fire at american legion post in northeast philadelphia. the four alarm fire started yesterday afternoon, at the legion hall on orthodox street in bridesburg. veterans and families were there to observe memorial day. firefighters got to the scene within minute, everyone got out okay. firefighter suffered minor wrist injury. the smoke was so big and the flames, just, when we pulled up the windows came out, they had to move us back, back further down, from where we were. so it was horrible. >> philadelphia fire commissioner adam teal says it took two and a half hours to get the flames un control. >> now let's talk about wild weekend in wildwood. there is a big mess to clean up after thousands flocked to the shore town. officials say they had their hands full this holiday

state park. the teen was swinging from a tree when he landed on a rock which gave way and sent him tumbling into the falls. he was stuck 70 feet high, and kneeling on a rock. rescuers used a rope to reach the teen who suffered internal injuries. a boat carried them a waiting ambulance. >> clean up is underway at o'hare airport after attacks i cab smashed through the glass door, at terminal three. as you can imagine, travelers were sent scrambling, as glass went flying. police say no one was hurt, the driver was cited for failing to reduce speed before crashing. the crash did not affect flights at the airport, though. >> happening today, another celebration for the national champion villanova wildcat. >> today the wildcats are going to the white house. the team is celebrating with a parade and other rallies since they beat north carolina on last second shot to win the championship just last month. this noon president obama will

you are not going to believe this gruesome discovery in the florida everglades. a fisherman found a pair of alligators feeding on a human body. it happened about 20 miles west of fort lauderdale. officials do not think the geathers killed the man. they say his body a fears have been in the body for quite some time. right now authorities do say they have more questions than answers. >> definitely want to identify who the victim is, and possibly figure out what happened to them, how did they

weather on sunday, as well. meisha, are the roads clear, please, tell me why. >> well, after yesterday, i would like to tell you yes. actually no. we are starting off kind of with another bang. but the good news, jim, the roadways are nice and dry. far cry from what we saw yesterday. so, roadways nice and dry, just going to be busy day overall, this is why we already have disable vehicle, pulled all the way off to the that shoulder, as you can see, plenty of of vehicles coming un behind it, when it is so dark out, sometimes things like that can sneak up on you. just know it is, there schuylkill eastbound near conshohocken, pulled all the way off to the shoulder almost butting into the far right lane. similar situation here. another disable vehicle, 95 for the bound, past cottman, pulled all the way off to the shoulder. see the squad car there block that far right lane. so again, a loft flashing lights, and actually doesn't seem like as many vehicles on 95 moving in the northbound direction than what we saw on the schuylkill eastbound. so looking okay here. that will pose some problems coming up in a little bit if it doesn't get out of our way. new jersey, 42 northbound,
