the truck carrying trash rolled on to its side yesterday afternoon. owner of the bucks county pharmacy, fights back against a would be robber. the attempted hold up ended with the owner shooting the suspect to death. second suspect is in custody. "eyewitness news" reporter natasha brown has more on what happened inside the store before the shootings. >> reporter: actions of the a store owner are commended by police, and district attorney who said he was well within his rights to pull the trigger on an alleged robbery suspect. images captured on security cameras allowed the owners of the pennsbury pharmacy in falls township to watch every move of an a preaching armed robber. owner was loan inside the store when the mask man walk in around 10:00 a.m. >> you hear owner yell to him several times i'm armed, do not come into the store. >> reporter: suspect didn't heed the warning, police say he stormed through the store to the back window of the pharmacy, and masking a shotgun behind an opened umbrella. >> the actor, push the

umbrella through window and jumped through with the shotgun brandishing the shotgun at which point the owner fired multiple times striking the subject multiple times. >> reporter: owner then triggered a silent alarm, police were there within minutes, fighting an alleged accomplice who was oblivious to what was happening inside, sitting outside of the store in the stolen van. the man was taken into police custody and heard mum blink only a profession of his innocence. >> stand up. >> reporter: a man who identified himself as a friend of the pharmacy owner was seen locking down the store, hours after the traumatic ordeal. >> there is, no thought that we would prosecute the shoot inner this case. he was entirely justified, in his conduct, and franklin should be commended. >> reporter: bucks county d.a. sees this as a justifiable shooting while those who know the normally quiet owner are justifiably concerned about his well-being.

>> he is always friendly, he has no problems with anybody. >> reporter: suspect in custody facing a number of charges including robbery and he will also face charges in the death of his co conspirator. meantime police are also trying to figure out if these two suspects may be linked to other pharmacy robberies throughout the area. in falls township, natasha brown, for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". crews have freed a 71 year-old man in burlington county after he got suck in a grain bin. it happened friday afternoon at probasco farm in sykesville road in chesterfield. it is unclear how the man got stuck but officials say he was up to his chest in grain. it took four hours to free the man and get him to the hospital. fortunately he was not seriously hurt. in bucks county a car crashes into the upper black eddie firehouse. you can see one of the firehouse doors and part of the brick exterior suffered heavy damage. investigators tell us there were no injuries and the cause of the crash is under

investigation. a north penn high school student has admitted he set a fire in the high school's band storage room. as "eyewitness news" reporter greg argos explains the school is now dealing with an expensive clean up job. >> reporter: teenager's mother leaving the montgomery county juvenile court hearing on friday, the judge ordering her son to undergo both psychological and psychiatric evaluation, before his sentencing within 20 days. attorneys for both side did not want to speak on camera. >> students are upset that one of their own would start a fire, they are trying to understand why someone would do that but they are dealing with it the best they can. >> reporter: north penn superintendent doctor curtis dietrich said students are dealing with the stress, as district officials are cleaning up with the clean up. cordoning off most damage area band room and surrounding storage offices. >> estimates are approximately 800 you this dollars in total, of that 500,000 is damage to the property, and about 300 you this damage to the content.

most significant portion of the damage to the contents is that sheet music and then musical instruments that were in that room. >> reporter: he says school will pay for pennsylvania cleaning student instruments. >> there were 200 instruments in there. good news is none are a total loss. >> reporter: but physical repair and reconstruction to the the building will take much longer. >> this is a big clean up. we have a company that we have engaged to come in and assess the damage in regard to rebuilding the area, that will take a couple months. >> reporter: after thosee will valuations on the 17 year-old prosecutors say they are going to ask for permanent placement, that means that the student here involved in this case, could be in custody, until the age of 21. reporting here from lansdale i'm greg argos for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". defense is calling witnesses in the federal corruption trial of congressman chaka fattah. prosecutors have rested their case against the pennsylvania democrat. the trial could go to the jury as early as next week. it is unclear if congressman fattah will take the witness stand in his own defense.

day, best chance to see strong to severe storms across northern mid-atlantic, just south of philadelphia, so head up, delaware and parts of the south jersey. areas in brown here is enhanced threat for severe storms, thats the highest on this map, so far, give it 30 percent. in the areas of yellow slight risk, 5 percent, there is a chance to see storms around philadelphia, and even all the way up in to the poconos. so, lets time it out. today not much happening. we have morning clouds, a a few peaks of sun this afternoon. sprinkle or two late in the day, early tomorrow morning, it is going to be scattered showers around, and it will be dry at times especially in the early afternoon but then watch what happens. we will get daytime heating going with line of stronger showers and storms that develop around 4c o'clock in the lehigh valley. starts to move in the city around 6:00 these storms could be severe, they will move into south jersey at seven or 8:00 o'clock and then off shore and then we will dry out overnight sunday into monday. how much rain are we talking about? all depend if you get stuck under a heavier shower. some areas could get one to

a decent day to day, just lacking the sun. hopefully we will see some sun in the afternoon. it is warm though. 84 degrees for the high temperature. make sure you have sun block on. you can still get a sunburn with the cloudy skies. let's focus on sunday. overall showers and storms really at anytime for the day. best chance to see the storms will be late afternoon and in the evening and some of those could be severe. any showers that do develop could drop some brief heavy rain, and due to just the heat, and humid air mass we're sitting in and watch out for stronger wind, as well, and the reason for the potential strong to severe thunderstorms is a warm front that push necessary tour on region today. it brings cloud, passes by tomorrow. and then we have a sitting in a warm, humid air mass for sunday afternoon into the evening hours. moisture moves in along the front and there is some of the strongest heavier showers and storms that fire up tomorrow. once the front moves through, this pushes out humidity for monday. so it will feel more comfortable but still on the warm side. so storm threats, tomorrow afternoon, into the evening hours, and potential for

damages winds, hail up to a quarter size, so that is severe hail status and maybe a severe thunderstorm and a threat for isolated tornado. again, focus for this severe storm mainly just to the south and then west of philadelphia, but still anywhere from the entire delaware valley could see some severe storms tomorrow. wind are producing a isolated tornado in parts of the mid-atlantic. future weather throughout the day-to-day, mainly dry, stray shower possible coming in the evening hours. tomorrow morning, a couple of showers around, we will have dry brakes from time to time throughout the day but watch what happened. three or 4:00 we will fire up the showers and storms. they will move from west to east, through the evening hours, and then moving off shore. we will dry things out late sunday night. overall pattern nice ridge in the jet stream keeps us warm but then a cool pocket of air arrives. by thursday of next week that brings the high temperature back below average. humid day to day, up to 84. slight chance of a shower late, future scattered showers, 68 degrees, here's extended forecast, another warm humid day tomorrow, late
