we had a cold front last night. now we are clearing out from that, the problem is, even though storm scan is quiet on the local level one zoom out shows rain currently moving through into central pennsylvania. some of that will be moving through our region as well for midday. general bullet the point are as such: it is between window of 9:00 and 3:00 p.m. you will not see wet weather that entire time, guys. this is just the timing for when it moves in from west to east. as early as nine, far inland and as late as three out toward the coast. now as we get these midday showers there could be embedded brief but heavy downpours, gusty wind and possibility for a couple thunderstorms that fire up with small sized hail. that is just how robust this has begun to look. we sit in the marginal risk for stronger thunderstorms today. we will absolutely do that for you here at cbs-3 and cbs philly.com. walking through hour by hour

a gorgeous weekend. right now it is chillier, katie pointed out, we go get rain later but it is looking gorgeous for our morning commute. sunnies out, dry roadways. we have construction, i-95 south, that right lane compromised and from eastbound woodhaven road on to i-95 that left lane is compromised as well. make note traveling around 95 and we are seeing this pick up ever so slightly. the fact that you have lost this far right lane earlier, it wasn't bothering us at all but right now it will start to be a nuisance just to be cleared out of the way. crews are out there. hopefully it does get cleared out of the way. look at this camera, this is sun glare i'm talking about when i say pack those sunglasses because we are dealing with sun up, slow downs, this is it, bam, blue route, headlights moving in the southbound direction not causing too many slow downs at villanova but when we go over to the northbound side that is taillights when you are driving straight into that that is when we can get problems on the roadways
