forecast in a few minutes. convicted on all charges, a jury find long time pennsylvania congressman chaka fattah guilty of corruption. >> it is a stunning fall from grace for congressman fattah a power player in philadelphia and washington for more than two decades. we have live team three coverage of the guilty verdict and also what is next, we will begin with "eyewitness news" reporter rahel solomon who is live at the federal building, rahel. >> reporter: jessica, the trial lasted a month but it took jurors a few days really to deliberate, but when verdict came down it was clear, u.s. congressman chaka fattah guilty on all counts. >> very tough day but we're going to confer with my lawyers, we will pick out what our next steps are. >> reporter: long time philadelphia congressman chaka fattah had nothing more to say leaving federal court on tuesday, after being found guilty of racketeering, bribery and list of other charges. >> chaka fattah, senior and his co-defendants betrayed public trust and under mines our faith in government.

history. survivors and families of the victims spent time with the nation's attorney general, cbs news reporter weijia jiang has the latest from orlando. >> reporter: u.s. attorney general loretta lynch visited a memorial in orlando honoring the 49 people who tied in the nightclub massacre. she met privately with people impact by the shooting. >> i'm so inspired by the strength and the resilience of the survivors and their loved ones. >> reporter: lynch also met with investigators who are trying to find out why shooter omar mateen opened fire in a gay nightclub. >> i cannot tell you definitively that we will ever narrow it down to one motivation. people often act out of more than one motivation this was clearly an ago of terror and a act of hate. >> reporter: it took investigators over a week to process the scene and collect evidence here at pulse nightclub. the city reopened the main street in front of the building, on tuesday morning. >> it is very erie, it is very shocking and scary.

whipping straight out, i haven't seen wind like that in a long time here. >> wow. thank goodness no injuries were reported, mayor, that is best news out of this but it is difficult, in a situation like this, what do you tell people to do? how should they react. >> well, you know what, you know how everybody is interested to see was there any damage to take a look walk around. if there is puddles of water and electrical lines laying in them they could be charged. not all of the power is off but there can be some charged lines and somebody can wind up getting hurt. my suggestion is for everybody to stay inside, let's mergecy crews do what they have to do and when we get power back on and we get, we have public works coming in right now to start going up and down the streets to start getting the trees that have have blown in the trees. we have trees laying on cars. we haven't had anything like this in quite a while. usually we have seen it on tv but we're part of it now. >> well mayor, we're thinking of all of you, best of luck

this what they will look for are trees and poles down in one direction. that would be straight line wind one tornado but if they are scattered all over place that would indicate a tornado. it should be interesting when they assess that damageornado. tomorrow when we get full daylight and get aerial shots there. better news for south jersey and delaware. we will see improving conditions tonight. still under gun for scattered shower or storm from the city northward. i think we will be in good shape. check out shore right now we will go to ocean city live look where earlier they were on the northern edge of that strong thunderstorm, cluster. they did get heavy rain but for the most part, they were okay, interesting strong win gusts looking better now few people outside on the boardwalk rain has ended. we are seeing improving conditions there along coastal new jersey. still we are seeing heavy rain down across extreme southern delaware and sussex county right now but overall storm scan three is looking a whole lot better. you can see that large area of strong thunderstorms moving across southern new jersey, central delaware, wind gusts

reported six on 70, 80 miles an hour, did prompt a tornado warning in parts of the cape may county in new jersey. north of the city we are thinking hey, what storms? you had a nice day. just on the warm and humid side. but changes are on the way as far as humidity goes over the next 12 to 24 hours. it will start to lower. that is good news there still severe threat, slight risk, 15 h of the delaware, south jersey and then enhanced risk for central delaware on southward, so again this area best shot to see another scattered shower or strong to severe thunderstorm coming in the next few hours. temperatures made it to the upper 80's to 90 degrees once again to today. hot and humid. that fools showers and storms. sitting at 80 in philadelphia at the shore. rain cooled air. 68 degrees at this hour in cape may. still that southeasterly wind, cold front had to come through and eventually will later this evening. that helps push out humidity a bit tomorrow it will feel better. we will call it pleasant. don't get used to it. thursday we will crank it
