shooting and killing his girlfriends in the city torresdale section. >> police tell "eyewitness news" he shot her with a crossbow, happened about 9:00 last night, 3100 block of willits road. investigators say, the 42 year old woman was shot in the chest. they also tell officers have been to the home recently for domestic disturbances. >> there is short premise for this address, police have been out here before, for him, cord being to the neighbors things started to go downhill, recently, within the last month or so. >> the unidentified victim died at the hospital, no details on what led to that shooting. >> fowl involved police officer christopher door man could get out of the hospital today. >> officer doorman was shot seven times, friday, he's been at penn breast die tear yan medical center in university city ever since. last check, christopher doorman was talking and joking and just yesterday he was on the phone with country star, kenny chesney, speaking as he recovers here from several gunshot wounds that he suffered on friday morning. now, check out this cell phone video from doorman's hospital right on sunday, the 25 year old smiling and in good spirits after having been shot seven times, including wounds to his face, and neck. folcroft police tell us country star kenny chesney on the line offering to treat doorman to eagles game and a round of beer kale was special on many levels, one,'s chesney fan, two, he got to clear up some confusion at a saturday show at the linc. >> watch today come tonight so bad, he said, kenny, please don't forget me. >> telling crowds about doorman's hospital video asking chesney not to forget about him. on stage, told the crowd, doorman was not be forgotten

and reported that doorman had passed away. later chesney says he was overwelmed by news of doorman's ambush and apologized, about 10:00 a.m., friday, doorman was shot seven times, in a drug bust behind the folcroft delaware county apartment complex, prompting a manhunt for the allege the shooter dante brooks islands, island was soon caught, captured, and charged, police say, doorman's been on the folcroft force for just about one year, and that his bulletproof vest here was clutch. and sparing him from greater injury. and back out live unlicensed weapon possession, g held on $1 million bail, as from doorman, he of course is still here at penn, recovering, we're told, doctors will meet with him and decide just when he can be released and we'll bring that you on air of course on line as well. live at penn presbyterian, brooke, jim, back into you. >> thank, justin, a lot of

>> the wild fire in central california is now 40% contained. >> the fire is already claimed two lives, and there could be a third victim. searches found what could be human remains in burned outhouse in lake isabella. the fire has wiped out 200 homes, scorched 68 square miles, roughly 2,000 firefighters battling the flames, california governor jerry brown has declared a state of emergency. last chipping west virginia needs after devastating floods killed 25 people. >> but, forecasters are telling much of the state to get ready for more rain. that's hena daniels reports, flood waters yet to re seat. >> bracing for more rain today, while still recovering from devastating floods, the national weather service is calling last week's storm a one in a thousand year event. at least 24 people were killed, including diana sanders' husband, of 37 years.

bit more humid air mass. lacking humidity over the weekends it, changes today. 50's, 60s, across much of the region, nice little south breeze, off the ocean, now, the ocean out to 71 degrees, still it keeps the temperatures down little bit today. sixty-two currently in stone harbor, 68 in rehoboth beach delaware. over the weaken we called it pleasant as far as humidity goes, now today it, will start feeling humid. tomorrow on the steamy side. and that helps to fuel some heavier showers and few thunderstorm, but then it is gone. so wait few more days, comfortable conditions do return. just not lock into that typical mid summer hot humid air mass, so cold front tracks east today, most of the showers stay to the west, really not until tomorrow, scattered showers, some thunderstorms, into the afternoon, not an all day wash out, don't cancel outdoor plans for tomorrow, then tuesday, wednesday, the front moves off shore, still have to push humidity out. see little more sunshine. shore forecast today looks good. 77 degrees for the air

jumping on interstate 95 coming up to that point at cottman. this will be hot spot this morning, we can see it already. overall holding steadiment gorgeous, 202 headlights, bypass, i can tell you right now, this is what we want to see on a monday morning, mondays are not easy, they are tough, and this certainly helps us, so around 202, looking great, the schuylkill at the vine what you are looking at here. take a look at this headlights direction, look how busy this is already, one of the hot spots this morning, schuylkill again at the vine, moving in the westbound direction, i would say, that's heating up the quickest, even more so than interstate 95. so really looking busy around there right now. also construction pa turnpike, take a look eastbound between valley forge and ft. washington that left lane is still block, will start to cause little bit every slow downs coming up in a little bit if it doesn't get cleared out of the way, 295 both directions between route 42, 76, route 168, going to be having lane shifts there. so depending on what time it is, where the roving crews
