little more a week, he is now behind bars facing murder charges. she left behind two young daughters and her family members set up a go fund me page to help her surviving children. we have posted a link at cbs philly.com. delvin barnes was sentenced to 35 years behind bars for abduction of the philadelphia a woman back in 2014. barnes was caught on surveillance video dragging the vick testimony down a germantown street. prosecutors say he beat her with a hammer and then forced her into a car, police found barnes in maryland after a two day manhunt, they were also able to rescue the victim. a 15 year-old is in police custody in connection with the deadly shooting of a 13 year-old in germantown. investigators say that the boy was shot in the face, while a group of kid played with a loaded gun. our natasha brownies live from the neighborhood where a vigil in honor of the victim is set to begin soon, natasha. >> reporter: well, good evening to you, jessica. that vigil is about to start here on east walnut street in germantown. you can see the crowd is gathering, many young people

hoff come out to honor the memory of the 13 year-old victim, also cease-fire philadelphia, not only holding a vigil in honor of this victim but also calling for an end to gun violence on the streets of philadelphia. a 15 year-old is in police custody charged with involuntary manslaughter, in the shooting death of a 13 year-old boy wednesday evening. the 13 year-old was with other kids at the time of the shooting that took place behind a house, on east walnut the street in germantown. police believe that they were playing with the loaded gun when it went off. the teenage victim died at einstein medical center after being rushed to the hospital a gun was recovered from the scene. meantime all of to this has set somber and passionate stage for this rally led by philadelphia cease-fire and an anti gun violence group. they are hoping to bring home message of keeping guns off the streets and out of the hand of children. >> what goes in the mind of little children, both of these children their parents won't let them leave the block so he was a black child and this gun

by a planned active shooter drill that had not yet begun. the basis home to air force one. investigators are hoping dna tests will help them identify the terrorist behind istanbul airport attack. twenty-four people were killed and more than 230 others were injured. cbs news correspondent jonathan vigliotti is in istanbul with new information. >> reporter: newly released video shows airport passengers and workers running away from one of the suicide bombers in istanbul. turkish media say three attackers were captured on security cameras just before tuesday's deadly rampage. cbs news has learned that investigators believed that the men were foreigners from central asia. dna tests are underway to confirm their identify toty. turkish police say one of the attackers blue himself up at the airport entrance while others managed to slip inside the building and detonate their bombs. >> very terrifying as we have these images, in the case. but they will shoot you

the state senate was set to make a decision today but held in favor of a different plan. it is an outcome governor chris christie hoped could ab voided. "eyewitness news" new jersey reporter cleve bryan is in trenton with more on what is causing the hold up, cleve. >> earlier this week the assembly work in the we hours of the night with governor christie to strike a deal to raise the gas tax, while lowering the sales tax, in new jersey. but today, senate had a chance to vote on that and no deal, and they are not voting and that means at least for another weekend, not paying more at the pump. it is ridiculous. >> many new jersians, mourning death of cheap gas state lawmakers struggled to finalize plan to raise taxes 23 cents per gallon. >> all have of a sudden like boom you have a tax and 23 cents. ridiculous.
