septa ran numbers within a half an hour news conference. transit managers say there was a bumpy capacity at 7:30 this morning. pack trains were rolling into center city stations. social media was exploding during rush hour this morning septa says a total of only six trains had to roll past people because there was no more room. some people on the trenton line clock a wait time of 90 minutes, more passengers are expected as we go deeper in the workweek. >> we're hoping to add more vehicles and equipment. it is not a tremendous amount of equipment we're talking with because no one is sitting on a stockpile of cars and locomotives. >> reporter: septa is using a maryland fight saturday schedule. train placement resembles that of a snow emergency but how they are deployed based on moving target on what riders are seeing. septa is asking for riders to continue to give feedback on social media. >> we need feedback. we want to understand. we have our supervisors out there watching what is going

will wait, #septa problems/squeezed in. we have one here septa has been answering passenger questions all day long, using #, septa social, jameer ferguson asking anyone how soon septa can expect some help by leasing cars from say, new jersey transit, amtrak or any other rail agency. septa applied to that, saying it is being considered but keep in mind amtrak and new jersey transit have limited spare equipment. now this is the next one here, these's asking what is on the mind of passengers, what should riders do if a train expresses but expresses past your stop. legitimate question. is there a way to make sure we can get off? to that septa says, that a conductor should make an announcement that the train will express from that stop and discharge passengers to catch the next local train. mark v, of course, weighing in on all this keeping it all in

next cold front that may get this weekend is off to the north and west and we are stuck in the blocking pattern over next several days with high pressure off the coast, just sending us heat and humidity from the gulf coast states right up eastern see game. temperatures not that far off of our averaging. normal high is 87. we are at 88. eighty-seven in trenton. eighty-eight in millville. it may be because comparatively speaking weekend was on the cool side to day feels hotter. it is because humidity ramped up so much. thinks nothing compared to what we will feel next couple days as dew points stay in the upper 60's and lower 70's. dew .68. that puts us a at that oppressive mark or just below but as we head into thursday and friday especially we will see dew points around 71, 27 degrees at times. that is between oppressive and insufferable. that is where we will be through end of the week and into the weekend. thursday may be the worst of it until shower or storm could come through and briefly cool

us down, before the heat climbs right backup. heat advisory for tomorrow, this includes the city and surrounding suburbs right down in new castle county delaware. heat index values may reach near 100 degrees in the afternoon. that heat advisory 11 to 6:00. hottest part of the day. lets look, this is of course formed by taking a look at the temperature plus dew points. heat index when we wake up tomorrow morning at 7:00 a.m., it will feel like 76 in philly and does get worse. here's 5:00 p.m., feeling like 95 in the city, feeling like 97 in wilmington. we will head into thursday afternoon, briefly, it could feel like 100 degrees. you may look at this and say why is it 77 for heat index in lancaster. that is because showers and storms are popping up and anyplace that does pick up shower or storm could experience a brief reduction in the heat and humidity but does creep backup, you saw back to 93 in the next couple of hours. future weather keeps us dry. the this high pressure is out to sea, generally quiet. the cant rule out pop out
