outside, our joggers, you'll love today. good morning, everyone, happy monday. blue route mid-county looking pretty nice, both direction action, i would say, starting to heat up, blue route has look really nice, up until this moment, now just starting to see more vehicles get out there. we can expect that moving into the 6:00 hour. schuylkill, taillights moving in the eastbound direction, approaching conshohocken curve. you can see what you are working with right there. still traveling around at posted speeds, hopefully i can keep you there for quite some time. starting to slow down interstate 95, at con man. see coming around the s curve how slow you are, no longer traveling at posted speeds here, you can see, break lights, good indicator of that you are dropping below 55 miles per hour at this point, delaware county moving in the northbound direction, pulled all the way up to the shoulder. we do have looks like disable vehicle, again, that's pulled all the you with a off to the right side, not slowing you down too much. just make note of t you can see in that shot, too, going to slow you done, pack the sunglasses, downed pole center city reports of wreckless driver in around at driver. between arch and market.

brooke, over to you. >> in the strawberry mansion section, north newkirk street, firefighters battle the blaze. good news at this point, no word on any injuries, but we will stay on top of this for you, bring you any update as we get more information. >> new this morning, philadelphia police are looking for the gunman who shot someone in the leg last night, in germantown. police got a report after shooting around 11:45, in the 400 block every mechanics street. the victim was shot once in the leg. unidentified person drove the victim by private vehicle to einstein medical center. the victim's condition is unknown as of this hour. philadelphia police have not released a description of the suspect. >> well, riders on septa's regional rail lines finally getting a break. >> week after, forced more tan 100 cars off the tracks. temporary relaysments and new schedule. train left on time, plenty of seats available, but septa reported at least one delay on another line. so we will keep an eye out on. that will septa officials promising at least a little bit of relief for regional rail riders today. they have added 1700 seat, thank, to a partnership, leasing agreement, with three other transit agencies take a look at the individual joe, starting today septa regional rail operating on interim weekday schedule. septa is adding trains and stops and departure times, and just adjusted slightly, as women, through the leased equipment with nj transit, mark, maryland, septa has access to three additional locomotives and 18 more passenger cars so you can see some trains and cars from out of state added cap as if i will have relief, dealing with crowded cars, delays, and

we've been watching this all morning long, hasn't been until i would say right now when you really start to heat up. the schuylkill headlights moving in the eastbound direction looking good again in both directions i would say moving in the eastbound direction, at montgomery drive. starting to heat up little bit quicker than the westbound side. we will of course see that start to even out here shortly. blue route headlight moving in the southbound direction approaching mcdade boulevard. see around the area what you are working with, still traveling at posted speeds in the area. so actually looking pretty darn good. now, this is why i want to pull your attention, take a look, at how slow this s i would say this little slower than what we could typically see around 6:15 in the morning, not far off, but it is looking very heavy. >> just know it is very slow, give yourself extra time, you will need it, see they're almost completely stopped. accident clear west philly 06 and market, go right to the downed light pole old city fourth street block. both directions. between arch and market. make note of this, because it is right about now, we will

avoid the area you certainly want to do so. another area, very slow, interstate 95 near cottman, talcony palmyra bridge is now up. delaware county 95 north at 452, we do have that right shoulder, blocking, and just a while that right lane also blocking so looking little slow around there, brooke, over to you. >> thanks, meisha a new this morning, philadelphia firefighter is recovering after being hurt in a overnight house fire. the fire happened in the 5300 block every west berk street, in overbrook, around 1:00 this morning. firefighters quickly got it under control, but one taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. there is no word yet on what caused the fire. septa is trying to ease the crunch on the regional rail commuters. >> this morning, borrowed cars are on the tracks with new schedule to go along with them. glennside, i've spoke tone so many people who say they're now getting up early, going into work early to beat the morning rush, then coming home early to beat the evening return, so it looks like these people are faring the best right now. we'll keep our eyes on it, but for now live in glendale, jan carabeo, "eyewitness news", back into you. >> thanks, jan. meanwhile, some scary mobile on the northeast as truck goes right through brick wall into a spa. it happened at the hands and stone massage and facial spa sunday, the spa is inside a shopping center at grant and blue grass road. police say the driver went through an intersection right into the building, spa manager core inch daily was inside and heard the crash. >> you know, we felt the billing shake, we weren't sure what was happening. i assume it came from outside. i ran outside. and that's when i saw the guy in the truck and bleeding. >> now, the truck went into a room at the spa, but fortunately no one was inside the room at the time. no one inside the building was hurt either. the driver was taken to area

health torresdale. police suspect the driver may have had a seizure right before the crash. the wall is expected to be repaired by the end of this week. >> well, protesters across the country continue to march in protest against police shootings. >> here is one example. these protesters marched on the freeway last night in englewood, california, block both directions for several minute. the protesters left the freeway as the california highway patrol arrived. just fewer hours, another protest at philadelphia city hall. "eyewitness news" reporter justin finch live to tell us more. justin? >> brooke, good morning, the group philly showing up for racial justice will descend on city hall with a message for lawmakers, they are demanding an ends to what they call police involved violence against minorities, and they will make that demand in just about two hours. >> showing up for racial for justice protest, a demonstration in as many days.

>> beat down in the street every single day. >> also known as philly surge the group organizes mainly white citizens in support of racial equality. today they expect a multi cultured crowd, as we have seen in recent days, when they gather on the west side of city hall. this comes after a weekend of rallies in the philadelphia area held in solidarity with those across the us. many organize under the umbrella of black lives matter, in the wake of the deaths of sterling in louise and and philando castile in minnesota last week. sterling and castile both black were shot and killed in police custody. their deaths captured on cell phone camera have since circulated on social media. many local marchers have said those images, and their realities, have drawn them out it raise their voices. >> i have son almost 6-foot four. he could be labeled at any given time. and i fear for his safety and as well as the other children

>> new rail schedule including 17 extra seats on loan from amtrak, new jersey transit, maryland mark. now joined by rhett err redfern on the phone. >> good morning. >> how are you trains running right now? any notable delays right now so far? >> , no starting to get some morning rush hour started here, probably, the first day of the heavy schedule, people coming back from vacation, last week, we do have some trains that are delayed out there. for the most part anything that's late is ten minute or less. >> now, heather, we understand septa lost about 13,000 seats when the silver liner cars were pull. you are adding 1700 now. do you think that will make noticeable difference? >> adding the leased trains from amtrak, and new jersey transit, and mark, will help us out, because we will be able to shift trains from other lines onto lines where we had bypassing last week, especially, along the glennside jenkintown area. >> now silver liner cars, 115

did pick a very, very good week, at the shore, talking full sunshine today, full sunshine tomorrow, low 80s on wednesday, still in the sun at the area beaches. however, when we talk about wednesday, as we go next to our seven day forecast, one thing that i would bring up to you is you will start to notice bit of up tick in the humidity wednesday, and we'll also start to see the clouds building later in the day. and depending where you are, might even see shower, specially through delaware area, far inland suburbs, that's wednesday, otherwise today, tomorrow, looks fantastic. now, thursday and friday, it is hot. talking low mid 90s here, watching for shower or thunderstorm, specially thursday, but i do think either day could produce. that will but friday looks like pretty scattered at this point. and, saturday, into sunday, keep the heat around. but humidity always what makes it so much worse, doesn't it? so 89 degrees being back into some sunshine for now, and again, as we sort of recap being look back at the early part of this week, it doesn't get better than this. 86 degrees in the sunshine, 87 tomorrow, again, gorgeous, gorgeous conditions.
