>> the roads are dry right now. >> and things are looking pretty good with the weather, it will end up being a beautiful day. yesterday was fantasticment only difference from yesterday, it will be that touch more humid for you, throughout the day today. but here is a look at "skycam 3", as we throw the current conditions over top of this, you do still have very modest breeze, barely noticeable, it feels so comfortable outside, 67 degrees, actually, feels like 67 degrees. even when you factor in a little hint more of that moisture content in the air. but again, nice summer day is currently underway here, storm scan3, very quiet. will remain that way, has been working over time, not picking up on anything for the last 24, 36 hours, will continue to look that way right through the day. current temperatures are into the mid or upper 60s depending on loath case, little warmer, little cooler, right at 70 in

wilmington, so off to very mild start there. but comfortably mild. as the morning progresses, we will start to warm things up pretty efficiently, expect to hit seasonable 87 degrees in philadelphia, later this afternoon, but notice it is still wall-to-wall sunshine, couple of clouds along the way, as we mention, hint more humidity, not enough it feels drastically different regardless it is still looking to be meisha pretty nice summer day all-in-all. >> sure sounds like it, thanks so much, katie. right now, i'll pull your attention to this video, what i was just talking about moments ago at the desk, from an accident last night, happened around 10:00 p.m. i'll back out of the way, it is scheduled to clear around 4:45, so sometimes hopefully within the next half hour, multi-vehicle accident, involving an overturned truck, you can see, the congestion not only around that area, but also how many vehicles and people are out on the roadway here, the schuylkill westbound, near grays ferry, all lanes are blocked, traffic is being diverted right now, to vare avenue in and around

this area, i'll be coming up later with another alternate for you if it is still lingering throughout within the next 15 minute, now, this is another shot of it, again the suing westbound, near grays ferry, all lanes still blocked. more of that coming up in a little bit. moving to construction, 59 taillights moving in the northbound direct there is camera just flipped at cottman moving in the northbound direction, off ramp was closed, just now reopened, more of that coming up in a little bit. brooke, over to you. >> developing right now, one teenage boy is dead, and two others are in the hospital after they were shot leaving a basketball game last night. >> "eyewitness news" reporter jan carabeo live at southwest detectives. what can you tell us? >> jim, brooke, good morning, well, police do believe that these teenagers were targeted, but they don't yet know why. meantime as you mentioned, 15 year old shot in the face was taken to the hospital in critical condition. he has now died. this all happened after these teenagers left a youth basketball game.

now, police are asking for the public's help in tracking down this teenager's killerment take a look at the video, shooting happened about 10:00 last night in southwest philadelphia. this happened at the intersection of baltimore avenue and edgewood street. three boys, ages 14, 15, and 16, just left a basketball league game, not even block away from the shooting scene. while walking on baltimore avenue, police say they encountered group of males. one of the guys had a gun, for some reason police say he opened fire on the group of teens. the 14 year old was hit in the arm, the 16 year old was hit in the ankle, and the 15 year old was shot in the face. they were all taken to presbyterian hospital, again, the 15 year old was taken in critical condition, was eventually pronounced dead. at this time police again believe the teens were targeted but they don't yet no why. they are asking for the public's help. we know there is a lot of people, good basketball program, with a lot of people involved. just looks like kids caring something from a neighborhood here and had an opportunity to

go after these young men who were leaving the court and took an opportunity to shoot them, which is unacceptable, this is a program, works well in the community, we just need the public's help, call our tip line to get this individual off the streets. >> now the two other teenagers who were injured are now in stable condition. southwest detective are investigating, anyone with information is asked to call police. we are reporting live outside southwest detective, this morning, jan carabeo, cbs-3, "eyewitness news", jim, brooke, back to you. >> thank, jan. meanwhile, new this moving fast moving fire heavily damages a local deli. cherry hill fire and ems tweeted these pictures of the two alarm blaze raised through the short hills deli on east evesham road. fire broke out about 2:45 in the morning, firefighter have the fire under control in about a half hour. no injuries, but again, lots of damage to the deli. the cause of the fire is under investigation. >> meanwhile, there are no injuries in this fire on lewis avenue, east lansdowne. the fire swept through a two

story home about 2:00 this morning, and the cause is under investigation. >> philadelphia police are investigating a threat against the department. >> investigators say they have information, they do consider the threat realistic or credible at this time. they released statement reading in part obviously taking this seriously, and it will be thoroughly investigated in order to ensure the safety of not only our employees but residents who live in the aforementioned district. philadelphia police are questioning two men after found on the roof of the hyatt at the bellevue in center city. investigators say, they found the two with smoke bombs and camera equipment. philadelphia's homeland security unit is investigating, so far, police have not filed any charges. president obama and former president george w. bush will speak at a memorial today for the five dallas officers killed in an ambush last thursday. three of those officers will be laid to rest this week. a bomb on a police robot killed a gunman micah johnson.

cbs news reports search of his revealed bomb making materials, they believe johnson was planning larger attack, but instead, used protest to ambush officers. this person obviously has some dilution, this person also was very committed to killing officers. >> last night's gathered outside dallas city hall for vigil for the fallen officers. >> authority say inmate who fatally shot two bailiffs at michigan courthouse briefly took hostages before he was killed. it happened in the city of st. joseph, that's about an hour west of kalamazoo. sheriff says the prisoner bask moved from a cell for court appearance, when the inmate grabbed a gun from an officer. police say he killed the two bailiffs, and injured sheriff's deputy and a civilian before two other bailiffs shot and killed the prisoner. >> for the sixth day in a row, people protested in philadelphia against the recent police shootings of black men around the country. the first rally was held outside city hall yesterday morning, it was followed by an evening rally on cecil b.

moore avenue. police say these rallies have been peaceful. thanks to patience, and community outreach. >> you're making sure we're safe, protest is peaceful, all racist out here, man, it is -- the whole nation is seeing, you know, a serious cause, and it is great to see. >> even some of the groups they credit who really don't have any love for us have not been violent. >> commissioner richard ross told "eyewitness news" they expect protests at the democratic national convention, he says, they're fine tuning their security plans all the time. >> septa is now working on leasing even more trains to ease the crunch on it regional rails. the rail line has switched to interim weekday schedule of course with added trains from amtrak, new jersey transit and mark, which is in maryland. third of septa regional rails are off the tracks for repairs, and now look to go lease other trains from boston and the midwest. until then, delays and con jen ton will continue.

through the area bringing right now some very strong thunderstorms, so wind driven rain. when you look at the tail end of the loop there, see that bo that forms, that's wind driven very strong thunderstorms, currently across kansas, and portions of missouri. this is the same system that eventually affect us, right now, not expecting any major severe weather outbreaks, but going to see showers and thunderstorms for sure, also again the humidity just continues to climb with time here. let's check into tomorrow. for now just sunshine, warmth today. but, by tomorrow, the clouds are beginning to nudge in, warmfront starting to lift in, it will sends the temperatures of course on little uphill climb. but also, the dew point, in other words, the humiditiment some of you could end up with couple of showers if not even thunderstorm, primarily western, i would say, western third of the delaware valley. and i would be shocked to see some of this fill into the delmarva peninsula throughout your wednesday. thursday, everyone fair game. notice the time stamp, even as early as 4:00 a.m., pockets could be forming bringing

it had to happen sometime, right? at lows it is not happening today. you have another pretty nice day underway, at the moment, just another thin vale of cloud cover pushing across the region, do you still have high pressure, holding on tight here, for yet another day. so, if your travels take you here to the shore today, not to mention tomorrow it, looks fantastic frankly, full sunshine basically, so latter on the sun block, spf30 or greater please. and by the time we hit thursday, back to the mid 80s, does turn more humid at that point at the shore, and pretty much everywhere else. in fact, the slow creep in the humidity is already underway today. it won't be terribly palpable yet, but notice just little less crisp than it was yesterday. eighty-seven in the meantime in the sunshine, keeping the sun for the most part tomorrow, but there could be a shower or thunder storm that fires up through, i would say, the sliver of our area, maybe the western third of the region as a whole tomorrow. that's just as a warmfront starts to lift in. >> all right, good heads up, thanks, katie. good morning, everyone, looking at video from last night, this is an accident that happened last night

around 10:00 p.m. multi-vehicle accident involving overturned truck, again, it happened last night around 10:00. one person has been transported to the hospital. this was the scene at this time. now, i'm going to show you the schuylkill westbound near grays ferry where the accident was, it is looking to be clearing right now. the schuylkill westbound all lanes were block, traffic was being diverted ton vare avenue, looks like now they've just reopened it. so, they had scheduled to clear it around 4:45, it is about ten minute later, great job there. but you can see the crews are still out there work to go get all of the rest of it cleaned out of your way. but the great news is, schuylkill westbound, near grays ferry, we're all lanes block, just momentarily, moment ago, that's now reopened. great news for those of in you and around that area. construction that's out there, 295 south, the off ramp to 42, one lane block, scheduled to reopen around 5:00 a.m. so in about five minutes or so. also more construction, 42 southbound between 295 and 55, three lanes blocked, but this will hold out until right around 6:00 a.m. jim, over to you. >> thanks, meisha a well, they
