excessive heat warning in effect for i95, and all of the flanked counties that surround it. now, here is an actual look at the feels-like temperature, guys, you have got to toss another four, 5 degrees on what you are finding on the actual air temperature, that's how it feel, and the sun not even technically up yet. so it already feels hotter than the thermometer reads. once that sun pops over the horizon it, will make it feel a heck of a lot worse. here is how the day shakes out, by 9:00 in the morning, air temperature will already be mid 80s, it means no problem. essentially here hitting mid 90s, in full sunshine all day today. and plus the humidity, meisha, another pretty toasty summer day, that's for sure. >> absolutely, sure is, thanks so much, katie. guys, i want to pull your a fen sean this morning right away to, so what you are looking at video every an accident down the boulevard northbound oxford circle. >> this accident happened just before around 3:30 a.m. this morning it is involving a motorcycle, a pedestrian and a

vehicle. when you have a motorcycle and a pedestrian involved, you know it is serious. two people have been transported to the hospital. i will keep you updated, but right now the outer drive is closed in this area. >> not good to wake up to. switching gears for just one moment, construction 422 westbound between route 202 and trooper, that has now since been cleared. looking good on 422, 95 south at cottman, what you are looking at coming around the s curvement looking pretty darn good still. schuylkill taillights moving in the eastbound direction, this is just past girard, looking good there. i would say holding steady there. but also, i want to pull your attention to this water main break, manayunk, main street closed at levering street. so you will have to use an alternate. crescent street is going to be your best bet. if you want to get little further away, i would say ridge avenue probably your best bet from there. we have septa update. i'll have one coming up in about ten minute, jim, busy morning, over to you. >> indeed. thank you. death toll has reached 84, after a truck plowed through a crowd of bastille day revelers, in france.

>> the horror of the attack hit hard around the worlds including here in philadelphia. "eyewitness news" reporter justin finch joins us from the cbs-3 sat center. justin? >> brooke, jim, good morning. many hearts and minds in the philadelphia area with those in nice last night's rittenhouse square event for bastille day. as france and the world grieves, many in france now looking into who and what are behind that attack. now, at this time, we can tell you that in nice, forensic teams are focused on the new bullet riddled white truck. hours earlier its driver killed by french police used to mow down dozens celebrating bastille day. witnesses already report the male driver opened fire on crowds, overnight, several videos of the attack surfaced, many showing the truck gaining speed along a mile or so stretch of the prom made. and plowing into crowds gathered to watch fireworks there. now, french authorities are now searching to see if the driver had accomplished this or ties to terrorists, and in rittenhouse square last night,

the french alliance, somber bastille day, taking a moment to see those killed and injured in nice. france has long been terror target, recently ramped up troops in iraq and syria, set it sites on isis in its leaderships. experts say it could likely em bolds enter orest cents. >> so what we're their see in the short-term is as isis is squeezed, lost probably 12% of their territory in year, as they're squeezed they will act out like a cornered animal even worse in the intermediate time periods. so we are going to see more of this both overseas, in the middle east where there are allies, in western europe, and unfortunately here in the united states. >> grim prospect, say experts, also among the 84 reported dead, two americans, 51 year old sean copeland, and his 11 year old son, brody of texas, they were in france, vacationing their family. now, a local children's hospital in nice is reporting they have some 50 or so

>> can you imagine? >> having to wear that on a day like this would not be comfortable in the slightest. you want to wear very light loose clothing if you can today, if you're not in the air-conditioning. keep that in mind, sun now just popping its head over the horizon here, so off we go. you know, already seen the temperature, to whopping, say, 77, 78 degrees in most spots, so it has been real warm morning, that obviously means it will be one every toast days where we have no trouble spiking right back into the nine's here today. so, as we talk, or check in, at least, with eyewitness weather watchers we seem seen pretty pictures coming in. we start things offer, sent this one within the last couple every minute, sun already over cherry hill, where she is reporting, so nothing more than few clouds here and there, generally the story, as well, as we check around the rest of the region here, reporting little hint of red in the sky, overall, nice conditions. and more yellow than anything

over dilberts ville. here comes again another hot one. so says eileen, again in the bill bert ville areament temperatures that the watchers are reporting, urban corridor find the worse or the most warmth, but it will be the hottest across that section of our area here today. flirting with 80 already, even in clementon, cherry hill, 76 from ed in chesterfields, out in eagleville, 75 degrees. so certainly very warm start to the day here across the region as a whole. now, we check in on the dew point, showing this awful lot with patterns like this, been very significant running theme with that forecast lately, because it is so important to how you got to plan for the day. when you are talking dew points in the 70s, it is really, really humid outside, guys, so keep that in mind. again the urban corridor where we will see the most excessive of the heat. heat warning as a result in effect today, but nothing but sunshine in the forecast for usment storm scan, nice and quiet. will stay that way. that means if you have got plans to hit the pool or the

took part in getting ready for the season. jan carabeo live there this morning with that story. jan? >> reporter: brooke, jim, good morning, there are so many cool things to check out at the oval this summer. a lot of new attractions, too, one of the items right behind me here, the orchestra pit, where you can sit down at the piano, play the drums, or any other number of instruments, that are going to be out here throughout the summer, a lot of the kids, too, spray area to cool down, sandbox to play in, and for the adult, right there, the beer garden, those cubes light up. so real at this will create a great atmosphere out here. but you have to remember, to look down. because there is a master piece under foot brought to life by philadelphia student. >> this walkway, empty colors, that we'll go fill in. >> the task was daunting, create piece of art on 25,000 square feet every concrete. >> and the process, was meticulous as times, on the ground, the focus, often slow,
