thursday was, remember thursday that was really one of the steamy hottest days this summer. we may have another day like that on the way but first we have got a decent summer day, if you don't mind temperatures in the 90's. lets look outside. we have got dark skies outside over center city philadelphia sunrise is after 5:40 this morning. you will see another half an hour of darkness before we see things lightening up outside. looking at current conditions in center sit the eye philadelphia we are looking at a temperature of 78. wind west at 8 miles an hour, right the now to start off your morning, it already feels like 80 and weather headlines is heat wave number three, that is right, 90's fan making it three days in a row. some relief in sight. we have to wait until next week to get that. we have a few storms to track here and there this weekend. temperatures 78 in the city, cooler in the weather, starting off at 69. sixty-nine in allentown. seventy-three in reading. it is still humid. not as steamy as thursday, our

"eyewitness news" reporter anita oh is live to bring us up to date, anita, good morning. >> reporter: rahel, good morning. police say that victim is a 64 year-old man. we know that they are at temple university hospital, where there was a triple shooting that happened around 3:35, near ninth and somerset

streets in north philadelphia a. we know that 48 year-old woman was shot in the chest, she's in critical condition at this time while a 15 year-old girl shot in the back remains in stable condition. investigators believe 11 shots were fired from two semiautomatic weapons but at this time police say it is not clear if the shooter had two guns or if one of victims may have tried to fire back. they may a getter idea from surveillance video. one of the businesses at ninth and somerset had multiple cameras outside just feet away from where the shell casings were found. chief inspector of the philadelphia police tells us, scott small tells us is the age range of the victims. >> it is unusual shooting due to the fact that there is two female victims and a elderly male victim. they are both shot one time. right now we are to find out hot intended target was. >> reporter: witnesses told police that shooter was wearing dark clothing and,

apparently he pulled that gun from his shoes, and he was last seen running away on the scene at foot. but live at police headquarters, anita oh for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". a police officer are investigating another fatal shooting in north philadelphia officers rushed to the 3100 block of north patton street, around 11:15 last night. victim died a short time later. in turkey the question this morning is who is in charge? troops are moving to crush a coup attempt. they attacked one across the capitol city of ankara as dozens are dead and many are wounded. the country's prime minister says hundreds are under arrest and officials say the coup appears to have failed. jessica dean reports that turkey remains a country in chaos. >> reporter: element of the turkish military say they have fully seized control of the country, troops surrounded the istanbul airport. bridges connecting the city

search is on for an endangered vulture that flew away during a air show. it flew from the national show in pittsburgh into a tree near community college of allegheny county. still on the loose but vulture does have a tracking device. they cannot reach critically endangered bird but he cannot see at night so there is a danger of him flying away until today break.

>> they had sexual intercourse just before she began to develop symptoms. we know this is time when people affect with zika are highest levels of the virus in their blood. >> reporter: mosquitoes usually spread the virus, sexually transmitted cases until now were all men, spreading the virus to their partners. the biggest concern is for pregnant with man because virus can cause severe birth defects. there are updated guidelines for pregnant woman. >> current recommendation is for men with pregnant partners to use other method, if is there a wrist of zika transmission and we will extend that to include couples where sexual partner is female. >> reporter: pennsylvania department of health launched a zika prevention program distributing 2500 kits for pregnant woman that includes information and mosquito repel apartments. >> we're also providing condoms for women to use who are sexually active, for individuals that have travels or their partners have traveled to zika affect countries. >> reporter: pennsylvania has
