everyone sees it, but outside right now, weaver full sunshine, few fair weather cumulus clouds popping up due to daytime heating but it is really warming up. already up to 92 degrees, at the airport, southwest breeze at 13 miles per hour, pumping in the humiditiment look at the the's across the region, 90 in allentown, reading, close to 80 degrees in mount pocono, not much relief in south jersey near the shore points right now, until that sea breeze kicks in, palmyra new jersey comes also in the 92 degrees, showers, storms, over central pennsylvania right now, cluster you see over williamsport, just went severe. so do you have threat of severe storms specially north and west of the city, later on this afternoon and evening, so scattered showers, storms, best chance between four p.m. and 8:00 p.m. tonight. so watch out for some heavy rain, they'll sloan down the evening commute and some gusty winds, areas in yellow basically from the sit north and west through the poconos, slight risk for severe thunderstorms, that will be the highest racing in our area, today's high, 95 for philadelphia, 80s at the

pokemon go has become the most popular video game ever. >> heaven help us, led players into plenty of dangerous situations but one city actually em brazing the craze. you may have heard the horror stories two, men chased a pokemon off a cliff in california, another player hit by a car in pittsburgh. but, in los angeles, well, they're offering pokemon tours. park rangers lead the gamers and they avoid things like rattle snakes, poison ivy and traffic. which is a good thing, i guess, in a combined group, safety in numbers. >> there is safety in numbers, exactly. >> your normal how to stay alive rules? that's the meat of a lot of this. >> too much. >> trying to beat the heat here.

really, one last day, jim, i'll hook you up with some nice weather. >> thank you so much. >> were you complaining so much this morning. >> don't mind the heat, just the humidity. >> it is, it is out there today. that will help bring some showers, some storms, so if you are headed outside next few hours, just get ready for big time heat. obviously the place to be down the shore. take you to the ocean city area, look at that, jammed packed beach and boardwalk, at this hour, temperatures there, well into the 80s, foul, again, little more of southerly breeze. that will help bring in some cooler air off the water. that ocean water temperature right now upper 60s, so that will feel pretty good to jump in to get rid of these 90 degrees temperatures, check out across the region, 92 already in philadelphia at the airport, 91 wilmington, wildwood also at 90 degrees, the exception mount pocono, at 79. but we break it well into the mid 80s, zoom into shore temperaturesment look at that, south winds, not doing much yet. cape may, stone harbor, both low 90s, ocean city cooling effect at 83, comfortable 79 in barnegat.

so here it is, day six, with temperatures reaching the 90s, now, go back last thursday, that was pretty brutal. ninety-six, really high humidity, today's humidity not quite as bad. we reach the mid 90s, finally put ends to the 90 degrees temperatures for few days. so we got some nice couple of days ahead once you get past this afternoon. so after today, heatwave does come to an end, lots of sunshine the rest of the week, humidity drops specially starting tomorrow, and also the temperatures actually return little bit below average. we're dry on storm scan3, outdoors, traveling in the next few hours, good shape. dry conditions, poconos, the exception, next to ours, run into shower, maybe thunderstorm, cluster of storms, tracking to the east at about 30 miles per hour, but, as those showers and storms run into the hot, humid air mass, do have severe thunderstorm watch now in effect until 8:00 tonight for the lehigh valley and pocono region, this area best chance to see some strong to severe thunderstorms, threats from the storms i would say heavy rain, strong wind gusts up to

06 miles per hour, frequent lightening, and low chances for hail or tornado, but the threat is there any time you get severe storms. how about the humidity? before the front moves through, it is hot today, feels oppressive. tomorrow actually drops by the afternoon, feel big difference, wednesday, that is the day, specially at the gym, low humidity that day, great mid-july. >> thank you. >> any time, i'll hook you up. time things out, going later this afternoon to the evening, can't rule out scattered storms around philadelphia, be aware, could be slower evening drive, chances continue into the evening hours, things quiet down overnight. tomorrow morning, should be dry, just some clouds, give way to more sunshine through the day, just feel that drop in the humidity, but look at the temperatures, widespread -9d zero's this afternoon, tonight, not much relief. it is still going to be muggy. 60s, 70s for the overnight low. tomorrow noticeably cooler, mid to upper 80s, close to average. hot, humid this afternoon, 95 degrees, watch out for the scattered shower or storm, later on today into the

evening, key word scattered. not everybody sees it, look at the seven day forecast, mid 90s today, we go to 88 tomorrow. still warm. less humid. it is comfortable wednesday, high of eight a degrees, with some sun. by the ends of the week, though, we start to bring back that typical mid-summer stuff, hot, humid conditions return for friday. jim is moaning and groaning, 94 degrees then we keep it in the mid 90s next weekends, make sure the air-conditioning is running at your house, you'll need it for the next few days. but last week we actually met a great group of kidcasters at the crayola experience in easton let's take a look now at some of our favorites. >> i like to be a cbs-3 kid caster, because i always wanted to be a meteorologist since i was in fifth grade. >> if they had 89 degrees, feels like 95 degrees. stay cool. >> great 100% hot.
