calls for a person with a gun. "eyewitness news" reporter justin finch has the latest on the investigation. twenty-two year old man gunned down, ambushed by two. >> according to witnesses both had guns. they chased after the victim. and they began firing shots at him. >> about 2:00 a.m., 15th district officers heard gunfire crackle followed by reports of someone armed in the area. in minutes, they found the victim in the street with at least two gunshots to his head and torso. >> most of the shoot -- both of the shooters stood over the victim and continued to stand over his body and fire shots from point blank range. >> medics ran over from the engine 16 firehouse, few steps away, but he would not pull through. police say the victims' woman

grand witnessed his last moments, after parking his car she told homicide detective he walked inside his parkside home on the 4200 block of viola, when he came back out, so did his assailant, blasting as many as five to six bullets, likely from at least one revolver style weapon. >> it appears from that information that this individual was in fact the intended target. >> the medics tried, they were only able to pronounce that victim dead, despite being short walk away from the crime scene, and with no surveillance cameras in the area, police are hoping that witnesses who may have seen or heard something, will come forward, and assist in their investigation. in parkside, justin finch, cbs-3, "eyewitness news". thanks, justin, police hope you can help them track down sexual assault suspect, surveillance video with a mustache and beard wearing baseball cap and caring two tone back pack. police say the suspect beat and sexually assault add woman on the 3800 block of jasper street, in kensington last tuesday. the victim is in stable

condition at temple hospital. if you recognize the suspect contact police right away. >> leads to the arrest of a man shooting another man on lan lancaster avenue. police say the shooter approached a donut shop, fired several shots, striking man inside, then fled the scene. the victim was taken to presbyterian hospital and treated for three gunshot wounds. anyone with information should contact west detective. >> bill cosby minds and confined to his home. said suffered from eye disease for several years, the 79 year old former comedian due back in court on september 6th. now he is facing trial for sex assault charges, in a alleged 2004 assault on former temple university employee, more than 50 women have accused cosby of sexual misconduct. cosby has maintained his innocence. and, the entertainment at this, loses a heck edge, to

welcome back, fire investigators, fire at local farm in chestnut county. fire at the modern mushroom farms, told it involved bales of hey, call came in around 1:30 this morning, firefighters did get it under control within an hour, but just before 7:00 a.m., several hot spots remained. as you can see, from this chopper three footage. >> kicking off new exciting segment that focuses on something that's important to all of us, education. >> and the story of we'll share will focus specifically on stem or science technology engineering and mathematics education. meteorologist, kate bilo.

beach. spots up to the mid 80s at the airport in philadelphia, 70, feeling good in mount pocono. so, great conditions up in the mountains, nice almost cool pocket of air over the upper great lakes, alpena michigan 79 degrees, 81 cleveland, cooler air continues to set up over the mid-atlantic and northeast for about another 24 hours, before we start to see the change. high pressure dominating our area, so you can see mainly sunny skies, you can add few clouds from time to time. no threat of any showers or storms coming in any time soon. we could use little rain though, it has been dry past several days. this afternoon great at the shore, sunshine tomorrow, 83, heats up little bit on thursday, or on friday even along the coast, we will be upper 80s little more humid as well. here is the reason. high pressure over us right now, that's coming in from canada. that bridges the cooler air mass, once it starts to move off shore, we see return flow out of the southwest, so start bringing the heat back in here specially on friday humidity

increases, stray shower friday, but mostly keep things nice and dry. to the weekend start to see serious heat, forecast highs, upper 90s, saturday, sunday, even into monday. saturday, close, record high is 98 for sunday, and 96 on monday, so these could easily be broken, so second half of the weekend stays hot. so, highs in the upper 90's, elevated humidity, seem more like 100 to 105, with heat indexes obviously take it easy, drunk water, hear the moans and groans already from jim. you can bet on that, no problem there. sunny, comfortable today, 86 degrees, tonight it is still pleasant, upper 60s for the city, some 50's out in the suburbs, keep the windows open again if you want, felt pretty good. so tomorrow, it does warm up to 89. this is increase in humidity, not bad, then gee to 94 friday. more humidity, maybe late day shower, then it is the upper 90s on saturday and sunday, and 95 on monday, that might
