thank you all, i cannot wait to see you in philadelphia, thank you. hillary clinton is officially the democratic nominee for president, this morning, the way her husband bill clinton says she will lead the country if elect. outside police made the first arrest of dnc protesters we will tell you what the secret service says four people did that has them facing a judge today. plus a major ruling regarding a high profile member of the clergy decision in the case of the monday or william lynn that could make him a freeman, very soon. good morning today is wednesday, july 27th i'm jim donovan. i'm brooke thomas all that plus we will tell you which part of our state, donald trump is campaigning in today.

but first a check of the weather, you can expect as you head out the door with katie and road conditions with meisha. >> good morning. >> good morning. >> well, good morning you guys happy wednesday. of course we're talking about closures again today so those who missed it monday and tuesday checkpoint out there but also we have an an a an accident and car fire. a lot going on at 4:30. >> things are quiet on my even we don't to have worry about any weather related issues other than sun glare. it is quiet. heat continues to be a big story. we will take a look at the hot stretch that has continued for us now for multiple days, this will be day number seven i believe and yeah, we have at least in the lower to mid 90's here for last five days and it looks like it will continue for yet another day. again storm scan is at least still quiet, we have gotten more than a couple clouds out there, overhead, looking at the area temperatures right now we're at 79 degrees at philly international. wilmington at 80 as does dover we are off to a warm start out

there. up at hunt pocono, 59 degrees sound awfully cool but regardless you are sill in the 70's in the majority of the region here. the as we go forward in the eyewitness weather regional forecast at the shore and certainly mountains we are not talking about anywhere near as much heat as what we will find yet again in the urban corridor. there aren't any watches or heat advisories but it is still hot. we are expecting sunshine primarily around the region. the further south, look at the shore we are expecting an isolated thunderstorm here and there to fire up. that will be something we have to track, eventually but for now, meisha all is calm in the weather department. >> nice. i wish i could say the same in the world of traffic, it will be a busy morning starting off , already, happy hump day we are getting over that hump together, first thing we will look at is closures. we are looking at i-95 at broad street a ramp is closed north bound you are closed completely. southbound you have access to the navy yard but you are also completely closed southbound,

between 2:00 p.m. and 2:00 a.m. we will cover this all day. schuylkill eastbound ramp to packer is also closed for those of you that usually take that. also another checkpoint lets talk about checkpoint 95 north is a platt bridge near no vehicles over five tons between the vine and the platt bridge, both of your checkpoints, and another one here let me show you one more eastbound vine at 95 just make note we have these checkpoints in place that will be here all week. we are talking about them all again today as i said for those who may have missed it. for those who may be need an alternate because of those checkpoints and closure 95 north southbound platt bridge to between sixth to the schuylkill westbound vine eastbound then reenter on i9 a five. southbound side you flip it. car fire, plymouth meeting in industrial way at ridge pike and another accident a at sharon hill, and various make note of. that busy morning. give yourself some extra time. american history is made

pennsylvania delegate who backed sanders a start calls it a sign for sanders supporters to move on. >> come on board with a lot of bernie's issues, he moved her to the left. he pushed the dialogue to the left. >> despite sanders endorsement some of his loyal walked out of the wells fargo center in protest. four people are due in court this morning after becoming first people arrested during dnc protests. the secret service is charging them after they hopped a fence into a restrict area. they never actually made it to the wells fargo center. earlier hundreds marched on broad street, many protesting the death of the african-american men at the hand of the law enforcement and the use of excessive force >> we have a social injustice issue going on that is much deeper then people realize. >> many protesters made to it fdr park and designated area for demonstrations. republican nominee donald trump and his running mate mike pence will campaign in

that is after the pennsylvania supreme court refused to reinstate his convictions. lynn was first catholic church official convicted over hand ling of the complaints of the priest sexually abusing children. state's high court agreed that the child judge allowed too much indirect testimony from other abuse victims tainting the jury's ability to be fair. prosecutors have not decided if they will ask to retry lynn he is serving about three years of a three to six year centers, he was quick in 2012. a man set his car for a late night rush and then almost got carjack. >> not so fast see surprising thing that the would be victim did, that had the gun manning ago way. also u.s. investigators are pointing fingers at russia , american officials say they are sure it is government that was behind the dnc e-mail hack, find out how russian leaders are responding this morning when we come back.

back on "eyewitness news" dozens of people air rested during a protest in minnesota over police involved shooting death of philando castille. the demonstrators blocked the street in front of the governor's mansion in st. paul last night, many of them were sitting in the road and some of them linked arms as police moved in. forty-six people were arrested , many protests have taken place in st. paul since fatal police shooting of castille three weeks ago. intelligence sources tell cbs news that russia's government was behind the dnc

we have seen sea gulls fly through the shots but never been up in the face, with the camera lens. that is great to see. >> heat really is. it will still get you here today. we are going to see an end to the heat wave in the seven day that is good news. we're not talking about any wet weather. there could be a spotty shower or thunderstorm popping up at some point today but generally speaking it is a quiet day. as we look at storm scan three of the last couple hours of the loop here we are having a technical issue with one hour of our radar information not coming; that is why you see that jump there but regardless some spots to the south could see a spot, or showers or storms and then we are just looking at a partly sunny day and still hot. the lets go through future weather. we will take new to tomorrow at this point, guys to day looking very quiet, but by tomorrow we will track our next latest, greatest cold front. this will trigger additional showers and thunderstorms throughout the day tomorrow, one last what we will call very hot day and then it is also turning more humid head of this front.

record after another time here but another hot day, another day you need to take care in the sunshine, and thankfully not the as humid to day but still hot. if you stepped outside today you will notice it felt a little dryer outside, more airy but it was still hot. that is what we will be finding here today. storm scan three, it is still quiet, we could see a storm south of the city some point today. chances are very low to see wet weather especially further north you go that percentage chance actually dropped even further but notice how is there an uptic in the percentage chance by friday. the that is our next disturbance pushing through and we have the best shot to see showers or thunderstorms in the couple days ahead. while you see thunderstorms on almost every icon of the seven day in day is a wash out necessarily but friday is best chance to see the most showers
