rolling east here. soap, there is a flood advisory now posted, for the next couple of hours for the better part of the delmarva peninsula, all of this will continue to migrate east essentially here, this is going to be area of low pressure actually intensifies as it retreat, so that's why we still got to dodge these additional rounds of heavy downpours, and, we might even see thunderstorm, although again not everyone is getting hit right now doesn't mean out of the woods south jersey keep that in mind, until noon today, flashflood watch, additional inch or more is possible out of what's yet to come. dealing with slow moving out there, because of the slow moving areas of rain. small streams are already running hi, with the additional rain, they could come out of their bank, street flooding, ponding, that's all been going on. if you have been out at all within the last, say, you know, 12-18 hours. soap, going to have to deal with that once more this morning, mid 70s generally around the region as a whole, expecting to warm up to the mid 80s, as opposed to 90 for

a change, hey, finally breaking heatwave. and i think we will even get sun before the day is out, meisha? >> awesome to see the sun, thanks, katie. good morning, everyone, happy friday. if you are just waking up with us we are so glad you're here. looking at the road, casino of updating you with all of the dnc closures and checkpoints, great news if you are just tuning in right now, checkpoints, all clear. what you are dealing with is one of the closures right now, 95 at broad street, ramps still closed north and south. the roads also around the wells fargo center where the dnc was, those are still in effect, those will be in effect until later tonight. make note of. that will check point all clear, restrictions on all of the vehicles leading up to the check point over 5 tons, that's also been lifted schuylkill eastbound off-ramps to packer avenue open as well. check point at 95 at the vine, there was some police activity around the area earlier this morning, now since cleared, but pulled off to the shoulder, so certainly not going to slow you down at all this morning, and actually looking really good around there right now. blue route at mid-county, live look outside for you for those every you on the blue route looking real nice this morning. so far so good.

senator tim kane, as well as her husband bill clinton. dems are trying to ride the wave of momentum following the conclusion here in philadelphia, hillary clinton wrapped up a star studded four days, with the biggest speech of her entire life. she describes herself as a steady hand, and experienced leader ready to unite not only her party but the teen country. clinton now has about 100 delays to convince voters she is the candidate to make america stronger, besides highlighting her accomplishment, attacking republican candidate donald trump. >> he want us to fear the future and fear each other. well, you know, a great democratic president, franklin delenor roosevelt, came up with the perfect rebuke to trump, more than 80 years ago during a much more perilous time. the only thing we have to fear

is fear itself. >> ♪ >> now, clinton was introduced last night by her daughter, hems i clinton, the 36 year old could become the first daughter for a second time, if her mother is elected. now, back out here live at mcgonigle hall at broad and montgomery streets in north philadelphia there is rally scheduled for north, but the doors open to the public at 9:30, and after this event the democratic ticket will start a job focused bus tour across pennsylvanian ohio. now, the clinton campaign is courting the same group that propelled president barack obama to the white house, that's minorities, women and young voters. hillary clinton also had a message for bernie sanders supporters last night. we'll take a look at that in our next half hour. but for now, reporting live in north philadelphia, jan carabeo, cbs-3, "eyewitness news", jim, brooke, back into you. >> thank you, jan. president owe alabama a took to twitter after hillary

now backing off comments he made about hillary clinton's private e-mail server. >> trump now says he was being sarcastic when he suggested russia, clinton's deleted emails, make them punment the rear pun can presidential nominee held two campaign rallies in iowa. he admitted to supporters he was paying attention to what was being said about him at the dnc. >> you know, i've been watching these speeches at night, and boy, am i getting hit. oh, oh, oh, i am getting hit and they don't mean it and there are a lot of lies being told, but i guess they have to do their thing. >> trump will make two campaign stops in colorado today where he is trailing in the polls. developing this morning, police say an innocent father is in the hospital after someone shot him in the city's germantown neighborhood. >> this morning, he is fighting for his life as police look for the gunman. >> reporter: jim, brooke, good morning, the victim's daughter was sitting in the back seat of the car at the time. her dad shot twice behind the wheel and their car crashed. she was not hurt. >> this morning police are looking for at least three men whose gun fight left his father fighting for his life. this happened about rush hour thursday evening, near germantown, and whoos err street. thirty-ninth district officers pull up just after six p.m. to find a man age 25 slumped over in the drivers seat of white chevy malibu. there car, rolling and crashing into two parked cars, he was unconscious, shot on the left side of his head, and right shoulder. his four year old daughter unhurt in the back seat. several surveillance cameras are in that area, officials say video shows at least three men, firing at each other, one from the west side of germantown avenue, two from the east side. >> the entire incident was clearly captured on numerous, private surveillance cameras, which police, detective,

including myself, i viewed the recording several times, from several different angles. so we're pretty confident that these recordings are going to help us make the arrest. the victim's four year old is with her family, her farther remains in extremely critical condition at einstein medical center. police are trying to crackdown the three men last seen running from the 5100 block of germantown around 6:00 last night. jim and brooke, back into you. >> thanks, justin. >> meanwhile, a ten year old girl is recovering this morning, she was also caught in crossfire yesterday. she was shot in the arm on the 3100 block of rosewood street north philadelphia. police tell us the two men were firing at each other when one of the bullets hit the girl after she got out of her grandmother's car. the young girl is in stable condition, officers are still looking for the shooters. >> people living in part of camden county need to boil their water until further notice after a water main break. crews are working to repair the break at delaware avenue, and river road, in pennsauken. american water customers who

live west of the cooper river in camden may have low water pressure or no water at all. the boiled water advisory will remain in effect until testing shows the water quality to be safe. >> well, bill cosby has dropped a lawsuit against one of the women accusing him of sexual assault. cosby wanted andrea constand to repay him. his attorneys claim the former temple university employee violated a confidential settlement agreement by speaking with police. constand says cosby drugged and assaulted her back in 2004. no date has been set for cost bee's trial on those sex assault charges. well, with about a week to go before her trial, kathleen kane's defense team is dealing with a setback a judge will not a lay to hear she to stop her from revealing pornographic e-mail scandels, accused of leaking grand jury information to a newspaper and lying about it under oath. the judge said the theory does not explain why kane allegedly

>> new video of the pope, walked through the concentration camps. francis is the thirds pope to visit the sigh where more than 1 million people were killed. he is expected to meet with hole coast survivors, as well. right now, manhunt is underway after two police officers were shot in san diego. police in the neighborhood where it happened have been told to shelter in place. the shooting happened late last night, police have one person in custody. >> would know the bright light that lit up the sky was a chain east rocket re-entering earth's atmosphere. former space x engineer among the people who flooded social media with textures of what many thought was a meteor. it happened wednesday night, more than a month after the rocket was launched, from china. the chinese space program is trying to establish a manned space station, in earth's orbit. >> fascinating.

couple of thunderstorms active pattern almost every day. back to you. >> thank you so much. good morning, everyone, happy friday to you. couple of live looks outside, then into some of the updates for the dnc closures, whatnot. boulevard headlights moving in the southbound direction, at fox street looking good pushing in the southbound direction actually both southbound, looking real nice this morning. good to see moving in the 5:00 hour on a friday. ben franklin bridge, same story looking nice, i will say you can see a loft early risers pushing in the westbound direction from jersey in center city but overall this is fairly typical for a friday. overall looking good. dnc closures all week long, looking at one of them still out there ramps still closed at brought street, make note of that roads also on wells fargo center, good news, check point out there, those have all since cleared. all of the check point looking good there.
