>> reporter: when the taj close is it will be fifth casino to shut its doors in two years but roger gross, a publisher have global gaming business magazine and casino expert say atlantic city will bounce back. >> i think we have had some really good results from the four casino closings. remaining casinos stabilized their revenue. they are not losing money hanover fist any more. >> reporter: president of the tropicana which runs the taj had this to say in the statement. icon enterprises saved the tropicana and to date has lost almost 100 million-dollar trying to save the taj, with no other party, including the prior equity own hours put it into its recent bankruptcy, was willing to invest even one dollar to save it. currently taj is losing multi millions a month and with this strike we see no path to profitability. now that casino expert goes on to say it is possible once trump taj mahal close this is year it could reopen next year with new employees, no comment there icon on that possibility, this morning.

the in the meantime it is unclear exactly what date this casino will close. company plans on sending out more notices to employees by this weekend. reporting live from atlantic city it, jan carabao cbs-3 "eyewitness news". a former philadelphia catholic church official is heading back to court today. monsignor william lynn was quick of conspiring to protect pedophile priest in the archdiocese. his convictions, has new been overturn, twice. he was released on bail from prison this week. judge at today's hearing is expect to set a new trial date. jerry sandusky's lawyers are laying ground work for him to take the stand in court for the first time. you'll remember sandusky did not testify in his trial. a judge ruled his lawyers can file paperwork to let him take the stan. he is currently serving 30 to 60 year sentence for sexually abusing ten boys. a judge agreed to hold hearings to see if he deserves a new trial. he is expected back in court

a chance of storms and let you though when to expect those in the weekend forecast. >> thanks, lauren looks gorgeous outside. look at this camera shot delaware county, i-95 north at 452, but overall this morning we are not seeing too many slow downs because of it, so just take a look around here dealing with a lot of the sun that we're not used to. traveling at posted speed here we have been seeing this all morning long but it looks like it is heating up more so over past 30 minutes. it will slow you down more as we push toward that 7:00 o'clock more so towards that 7:00 o'clock hour but more so that commute in morning is looking darn nice. one of the areas we are seeing and slowing down is i-95 south, a hard that is hard to see it will be in your rear-view mirror. the it is not in front moving in the southbound direction but it will slow you down a little bit because we have congestion levels now to support that a little bit on interstate 95. we know what will be happening moving towards seven and schuylkill east and westbound right around the

"eyewitness news" reporter justin finch joins us from outside criminal justice center to explain the court hearing, justin. >> reporter: jim and brooke good morning. monsignor is due back in court for 9:45 for a status hearing during which a judge will likely set a new date for his trial. just two days after he was released from prison. our late lease at monsignor william lynn came tuesday as he left the scranton area prison. now five five-year oldies nation's first ever roman catholic church official charged and convicted of covering up child sex abuse claims. he served almost three years of his three to six year sentence. the lynn's 2012 convictions have been since overturn. on tuesday he was released on bail and now staying with

given the caller written permission it is illegal. hang up, file a complaint with the fcc and the national do not call registry. now, in addition to the calls being illegal, the pitch is mess likely, are you ready for this, a scam, the criminals are phishing for personal information that can later be used to steel your identity. >> jill, lets talk about the top scams so far this year. >> reporter: according to research number one is a weird one called the search engine listing scam, so a caller to maybe a small business owner says hey your business listing on google or bing is not up to date and they are looking for your personal information to get it up to date. next are pretty old ones, loan related ones, recordings offering to help lower your interest rate or threat their loan is past due and then there is free vacation calls, come on guys you know there is no free vacation. fraud is using high pressure
