>> knew video from overnight, the torch relay hit the street of brazil. >> good morning everyone, i'm jan carabeo in for jim donovan. >> i'm brooke thomas, the summer olympics officially kick off tonight with the opening ceremonies in rio de janeiro. >> but have been some bumps along the way, jamie joins us from rio about the work to get everything ready, good morning, jamie. >> reporter: good morning few bumps is a understatement here in rio, but we're right outside the olympic park where millions of people will be watching around the world as those games begin, to see how things go, because, as you said, there have been so much talk about the concerns here. zika virus, water quality, shotty construction, but now brazil wants to refocus its attention back on it fun-loving culture. >> i love rio de janeiro famous copa cabana beach, american tourists are snapping

getting around. but our first day here, i have to tell you, we went a little bit more than 10 miles, and it took almost two hours. what people probably don't realize from all of the pictures is that the olympic park was built very far away from some of the famous places that you have seen, like copa cabana beach. so it can take hours to get different places. they've opened up some traffic lanes, specific for people coming to the olympic games that you have to have a special credential in order to use those lanes. and we were told the fines are astronomical if you move over into the lane and try to use it here in brazil. >> wow. >> thanks, jail. >> i all right, it is now 5:34. >> lawyer send out on the skydeck with your forecast, morning, lauren. >> reporter: good morning, guys, yes, nice start to our friday. cool-ish temperatures, catching a little bit after chill, august chill, anyway. temperatures right now in the 60s across much of the delaware valley. waking up to 69 degrees, your current temperature in philadelphia. some 50's once again in the

watch heres get up early, even before the 6:00 hour. and give us some of these reports. and we have a lot of report already ongoing this morning, so we'll check in with some of those, some of our other weather watch they are morning who aren't lucky enough to be in the studio with us like phil, but temperatures pretty consistent by our weather watch ers, upper 50's, low 60s, 63 degrees right now in philadelphia, we'll check in with our weather watcher bill in cart inning ton, reporting clear sky conditions, and he has some commentary this morning, clear skies, and a low dew point at 57. yes, when we're in august and dew point down into the 50's, feels nice, dry and comfortable. we'll hang onto that for the first part of the day today. but then as we head into the evening hours, not so much the case. so we'll check in with one more weather watcher, one of the cool spots, 56 degrees, as reported by mark, and he's in chat worth, new jersey, clue conditions, maybe we have time for one more, 59 degrees right now, as reported by our weather watch err john, and he's in perkasie, pennsylvania, and he has some

commentary this morning, as well, beautiful start to the day following yesterday's just about perfect day, it has been, so nice, and today will be pretty nice as well. we will keep humidity on the low side for the first half of the day. georgous start getting live noon at the neighborhood network, cape may county courthouse sun just coming up, just about 20 minute away from official sunrise, current temperature in cape may 66 degrees, we have temperatures in the 60s, pretty consistently with the exception of our cool spot, mount pocono at 58 degrees. and as we head into the day today, temperatures topping right around average, 87 degrees, mostly sunny, as i mentioned, built more humid specially for the second half of the day. then overnight tonight, increasing clouds, not that great sleeping weather because it will be little muggy only falling back to 73 degrees. and we do have storms in the forecast for our saturday, scattered in nature, so not everyone going to see a storm, but if you do, it could be on the stronger side, producing some heavy rainfall possibly some gusty winds, as well, and we could see some rainfall totals, about half inch, maybe even locally some higher amount with some of the

heavier downpours, so tomorrow is the stormy day, 95 degrees, steamy, then by sunday, clearing out nicely, meisha, a beautiful conditions. less humid once again. we get another treat, as we head into next week. kind of atypical august weather feeling so comfortable. but monday, tuesday, wednesday, all looking and feeling great. >> all right! lauren, i'm loving the sounds of that, specially on a friday, that's what we want to hear, right, fight? good morning, all right, center city is just now starting to wake up. good morning. looking at the ben franklin bridge coming in the westbound side, looking really good. looking nice and quiet holding stead ill, one area starting to heat up now not looking as quiet 95 south at girard, a lot of heads light pushing in the southbound direction but like i said little earlier in case you missed it, sometimes on a friday this is what we tend to see in the 5:00 hour. and then in the 6:00 hour pushing toward our main rush hour. 7:00 just kind of holds stealth i, overall, looking pretty darn good. 422 eastbound past oaks, beautiful skies, as the sun is just about to greet us.

here in sea isle city. the people are out. they're out recall think morning. this is my friend, ashley russo, ashley, good morning, my friends. >> good morning. >> so yoga you have been an instructor for couple years now, doing yoga for several years. >> yes. >> talk to us about some of the benefit of it. >> so yoga is for everyone. it is for people of all ages, shapes, sizes, abilities, and whatnot. yoga is also good for your body, for your mind. so no matter what your level is, you're welcome here at yoga is great for any type of sort of debility. you can do yoga sitting on the beach, meditating for an hour, you can do yoga on a mat, you can do yoga opting ice cream, as long as you are bringing your mind to what you are doing, it is really sort of de-cluttering both your body and your minds. >> that's a good thing. >> yes. >> because we, and i know i, for one, we get caught up in

our cubicals, always sitting and hunched over. >> absolutely. >> i know a lot of people work on our morning show are always at a desk eight hours a day, just constantly looking. good to get up and stretch? >> yes, exactly, absolutely. and yoga is all about moving your body, and optimizing the function of your body. so sort of getting rid of all of that tension, that tightness, opening up your range of motion, allowing to you move freely and in that you are bringing your focus to what you are doing, while you are doing it here on your mat. so learning to focus your attention, get rid of all of the stress, everything that's not, you know, us on the beach right now. >> and always stress in life. >> absolutely. >> not better place to do it. >> absolutely. >> than on the beach. you guys actually do it here in sea isle and in stone harbor? >> yes, we it in sea isle saturdays 8:00 a.m. on the beach. we have nice little crew that usually shows up every saturday, and i teach in stone harbor on sundays. also, 8:00 a.m. at stone harbor yoga. >> nice. i feel like peaching watching this they should be breathing
