lot of humidity and fog trying to develop but visibility still looking good. it is warm though. 77 degrees at the airport. that is compliments of the southwest win 8 miles an hour pumping in humidity, still very muggy outside, 74 in the lehigh valley. sixty-nine in mount pocono at the shore points pretty much similar in the mid 70's, pottstown, coming in at 74. it is feeling tropical with dew point temperatures back in the low to mid 70's over a lot of locations. it feels oppressive. it will stay like that through the day-to-day. you can see spotty showers or maybe a few thunderstorms south jersey cape may county, ocean city, sea isle getting wet weather, even into dover delaware. everybody else is dry and then there will be a stronger line of showers and storms that moved in, mainly in the a afternoon, between two and 6:00 o'clock. scattered showers and storms especially this afternoon and because of the humidity there could be heavy rain on any of these storms that do develop. hot though we're up to 92.

upper 80's at the shore lower 80's at the poconos. the once we get through today nice stretch coming up for early august we will talk about that in a few minutes, jan, back to you. latest on two prominent philadelphia leaders who are targets of multiple federal raids. now those raids took place in at least ten locations all across the city including the ibew local 98 headquarters and union hall, union leader john dougherty's home and bar and councilman bobby henon's two philadelphia offices. "eyewitness news" reporter david spunt has more on yesterday's raids. >> reporter: as federal agents raided his home in south philadelphia, ibew business manager, john dougherty, paced back and forth on the sidewalk making phone calls and talking to cameras. >> i'm very comfortable with where we're at right now. once we get ugly scenario by we will be fine. >> reporter: agents left with several boxes and computers, they also took items from another nearby home dougherty

owns. and, dougherty's pub down the street. four and a half miles away a semi truck pulled up to the ibew headquarters and union hall where agent took out boxes filled with paperwork. authorities raided two offices of the city councilman bobby henon, close associate of dougherty, philadelphia's mayor jim kenney a man close to dougherty and henon didn't have much to say about the raids agents left the scene in the afternoon but future for both dougherty and henon is uncertain. john dougherty doesn't seem phased. >> i have been under scrutiny my whole life. i don't understand why. maybe it is because i win too much. >> reporter: fbi spokesperson confirmed yesterday's investigation, in more tea tails were given, no one was arrested. reporting from the union headquarters, david spunt for

cbs-3 "eyewitness news". in 2006 federal agents searched john dougherty's home, documents revealed they were investigating whether dougherty unlawfully received free labor at his home and got a condo at the shore for below fair market value. they investigated if he evaded taxes no charges were filed begins him. in february dougherty was accused of hitting a then nonunion worker during an argument at a south jersey constriction site. surveillance video shows an altercation but not the alleged incident. dougherty claims self-defense, charges were never filed. >> meantime another location that was targeted yesterday, agents raided a warehouse in camden county. chopper three over the mjk electrical building in berlin. the fbi does confirm this is part of the same investigation but they have not released anymore details. stay with "eyewitness news" for continuing coverage of the federal raids. we will bring you latest updates on tv and anytime, on line over at cbs philly.com.

"eyewitness news" reporter anita oh is live at the scene with the very latest on what happened, anita. >> reporter: good morning, jan. pretty scary situation as police say dozens of people were injured after that railing collapsed at the bb and t pavilion last night and now the question is were there enough safety measures in place. like many nights on the camden waterfront hundreds of fans gathered a at bb and t pavilion for a concert. >> the one moment, a lot of people fall down. >> reporter: but this was no ordinary evening. around 10:30 as wiz khalifa and snoop dog performed, chaos erupted when a i 3-foot railing collapsed sending dozens of fans tumbling to the ground. >> i saw one guy who was pushing his face on this part of his head was opened.

"eyewitness news" at the intersection of the forty-eighth street and wood land avenue. medics rush four people to the hospital, there is this word on their condition. police continue to investigate the cause of the crash. a judge in florida has offered, has ordered reputed philadelphia crime boss joey merlino held without bail pending a detention hearing on tuesday. merlino was a rested in palm beach county among 46 people indicted in connection with alleged organized crime activities. wide ranging charges for the group including racketeering, conspiracy, arson and firearms trafficking. pennsylvania's highest court has cleared the way for attorney general kathleen kaine's criminal trial to go on as planned. the state supreme court denied kane's emergency petition to have charges against her drop. she's accused of leaking secret grand jury information and then lying bit under oath.

warrant for gulen and accusing him of orchestrating the recent coup attempt there. gulen denies involvement. >> he condemned this coup the way he condemn every other coup in turkey, again, for mr. e would have to be acting inconsistent with everything that he has done in his entire adult life. >> turkey has not yet made a formal extradition request, the u.s. has asked turkey for evidence, of gulen's involvement. meantime here at home republican lawmakers plan to introduce legislation revising delaware's death penalty law, the state supreme court declared that the current law is unconstitutional earlier this week. state justices said that delaware's law was unconstitutional because ate allows judges too much discretion and does not require that the jury find unanimously that a defendant deserves to be executed. state g.o.p. leaders say they will introduce legislation next year. police are looking for two

men in connection with the shooting that wounded a a ten year-old girl in north philadelphia on july 28th. these are the suspects, 23 year-old richard holmes and 29 year-old steven kearney, police say gunfire rang out on the 2100 block of north rosewood street after one hand got in the argument with another man. investigators say the suspect opened fire missing his target but hitting the girl in her arm. police say a second gunman then began firing from a second floor window as the man involved in the argument, both suspects remain on the loose, the child was treated and then released. chicago police are looking at training and tactics after an officer fatally shot a suspect car their last week. as jericka duncan reports the actual shooting was never caught on tape but we do want to warn you that you may find the video that was released disturbing. >> within seconds of spotting a reported stolen jag war,

delaware. otherwise just some cloud, should break for some sunshine, and then we will see more showers and storm arrive later this afternoon. big jump in the humidity. these are dew point temperatures. this gauges home moisture or how it feels to the bodies and once we have dew points in the 07's, it feels oppressive and stay indoors in the the air conditioning. we have one more high day of humidity to go here and then second half of the weekend does look much better. part of the reason is wind direction out of the south, so that brings in heat and humidity, but once this front comes through wind shift out of the northwest for tomorrow, so that is a cooler dryer air flow and notice big change for second half of the weekend. if you are beach plans today at the shore, upper 80's, limited sunshine, watch out for showers over the next hour and then again later this afternoon and evening, tomorrow looking a whole lot better, full sunshine 86, but less humid and very pleasant conditions to start off next week, mid 80's for afternoon air temperatures. now water temperatures are feeling good up and down the new jersey shore, delaware
