condition. investigators are interviewing an eyewitness and say, they know the name and address of the alleged gunman. >> philadelphia police are investigating the stabbing of two women. it happened late last night, on north 61st street, between arch and market. there is no word on what led to the stabbing, we're told, both women are expected to recover. >> happening today, jury selection starts in the trial of pennsylvania attorney general, kathleen kane. >> faces list of charges including perjury, and obstruction, "eyewitness news" reporter justin finch is liver at the montgomery county courthouse in norristown, with the story. justin, good morning. >> reporter: joe, brooke, good morning, jury selection combination at 9:00 a.m. here at the norristown courthouse, we are told as soon as a jury is seated the trial could very well start. attorney general kathleen kane is due in court this morning, after her petition to squash her charges fail. she remains on the job, despite state supreme court vote that revoke her law

license, and that felony arrest. both prosecutors may argue result of cane's rocky tenure, her charges include felony, perjury, for allegedly lying to a grand jury, obstruction, official oppression, conspiracy, and false swearing. those charges emerging after leak of details from a grand jury probe from kane's office to the media, kane later positioned herself as a crusader against so-called old boys network, in doing so exposing offensive emails by state employees. scandal forced two state justice toss except down, several of kane's staff, some whom to testify against her old boss. and back out live this morning, if convicted of felony perjury charges, kane reportedly could serve a max term of seven years, her remaining misdemeanors carry her maximum of two years in prison, kane of course is not returning or going up for re-election in office. of course we'll be here throughout the morning to watch this case for you.

live in norristown, justin finch, cbs-3, "eyewitness news", joe, brooke being backs into you. >> thank you for that live report. >> the berks county district attorney says there was handgun anna sue side note in the home where a family of five was found shot to death in a case prosecutors are calling a murder-suicide. saturday officers say a family member found the body of mark short, his wife megan, and their three children. eight year old leona, five year old mark, jr., and two year old willow. we caught up with the woman who says she supported a benefit to raise money for willow who had a heart transplant at just six days old. she says she later ran into megan at a grocery store. >> she remembered me, and she's very upbeat, you know, very smiley person, warm, loving, and that's the vibe you get from her when you speak to her. >> investigators say the parents had domestic issues they can ' not saying who they believe fired the weapon. >> criminal justice center in philadelphia is set to open

but the elevators last week left two people hurt what appears to be a freak accident will not be in service. says people with business at the center should arrive little earlier as a result. on thursday, an elevator with a sheriff sergeant on board sped out of control to the top of the building and crashed through the sealing. that sent debris raining down about 13 floors, onto a second elevator car, with a woman inside. there is no word yet on what caused the accident. sergeant paul owens remains in critical condition. septa, listen up, new schedule changes going into effect for the regional rail line. five of them, the lansdale, doylestown, trenton, manayunk, norristown, warminster and glennside lines will run updated weekday schedules, some will include extra leased train cars, all of the other lines will continue to run on the same schedules announce in the july. those changes were made after a third of septa's train fleet were taken off the tracks for
