montgomery county courthouse in norristown, justin? >> brooke, jim, good morning. kathleen kane could be closer to learning her fate today, by days end, the injury coy get their instructions, and begin deliberations. looking now at video, at this time, when given a chance to take the witness stand friday, kane did refuse, saying, quote, i don't feel like i need to testify. on friday, the reporter whose article helped fuel the investigation, testified, but siting state law never gave up his source for the secret grand jury findings referenced in his article. the focus, now deceased ex philly naacp president, jerry mondesire, reporting centers on grand jury probe into mondesire's finances, though he was never charged. mondesire's fiancee took the stand friday, as well, calling that report damaging, and saying it factored in mondesire's failing health before his death. the prosecution and defense later rested, with the defense never calling a witness.

short, his wife megan, and three children were found shot to death inside their home in singing spring. investigators say megan posted on facebook she was planning on leaving her husband over abuse. >> also, new this morning, philadelphia police are looking for a man who fired several shots into a van injuring at least one person. a woman told police the gunman came out of an alley and started shooting while she and a friend were talking in the van parked at wakling and saw street. she's in stable condition. police think a man in the van may also have been wounded, but they haven't been able to find him. >> police are also investigating after 16 year old boy was shot to death in kensington. it happened yesterday afternoon, on the 2,000 block of east orleans street. police say the teen was shot once in the back while inside a car. he died at the hospital. if you have any information, please contact police. sadly, a third person is dead in philadelphia because of the current heatwave. the 59 year old man who died also had diabetes, and congestive heart failure.

two women have also passed away. the water is running again in a west philadelphia neighborhood, that didn't have it for much of yesterday. a water main break at 61st and haverford, caused more than 50 homes and businesses to go 12 hours in this heat without water. some neighbors were well prepared. >> we have a bunch of water bottles in the house, spring water, gallons of water, just taking it easy. staying out of the way. water, that's all we need, the water. >> water reps say they had plenty of bottled water for people who also needed it. >> car burned overnight in milwaukee, after more protests following the fatal police shooting after black man. but no widespread destruction of property. police made nor arrests, one person was shot and wounded, and the national guard is on stand by, police say, a black officer shot smith after he turned toward the officer with a gun in his hand. investigators say smith had runoff during a traffic stop. meanwhile, police in
