4:32 am
substance, we'll say. but you will run into damp roads, man is it steamy outside. looking at the current temperatures, mid upper 70s, running theme from i95 on southeast at this point, little cooler further north you go. but you have to go to the mountains looking for any 60s at this point. looking forward in the forecast though, there are more showers, more thunderstorms on tap for us today. generally looks like a p.m. issue, so afternoon and evening. however, this system is really going to juice up the atmosphere, so the high hits 993 today, meisha, could feel as hot as 108 at the peak. so yes, another pretty brutal day out there when you factor in the humidity. >> yes, because it is not just uncomfortable, it is so dangerous outside. >> it really is. katie, thank you so much. good morning, everyone, happy tuesday. well, we're looking, another area where we did have police activity out there, that's since been cleared. ninety-five north, at the betsy ross bridge, just in case you drove by it earlier this morning, now you're at work maybe tuning in there, good morning, that is what it was that you saw here.

4:35 am
>> the verdict, conviction on all counts was a crushing blow, i won't say otherwise, but we have not lost our resolve. we will continue this litigation. we will continue this fight, because we believe that our client has been wrongfully, wrongfully accused of misconduct. >> this was about what happened here though. this was about the defendant going before a grand jury in montgomery county and lying to that grand jury. the evidence was overwhelming in that regard, and the defendant was convicted. >> the judge had kane surrender her passport, cautioned her against retaliating against any former staff heres testified against her. kane's harrisburg office is holding a 1:00 p.m. press conference today to discuss her case and what's next for the agency. jim, brooke? >> thanks a lot, justin. >> meanwhile, pennsylvania governor tom wolf want kane to step down as attorney general.

4:45 am
about at it worse, probably about the time the worse of the storms start to rumble on through, too. come tomorrow still hot, could still feel close to 100 degrees, and at dover for example, but it is easing upment tomorrow is day of trans -- transition, flirting with 90, as opposed to hitting it, mainly dry with the front clearing on out of here. as it does so, the humidity continues to drop. by specially friday, looking so, so much more comfortable, meisha, over to you. >> katie, thank you so much. good morning, everyone, happy tuesday. the vine was open last night, no over night construction, you can see, both moving in the westbound and eastbound side. looking good, fairly typical, for an early tuesday morning, this is where we do have some construction still lingering out there, overnight construction, near gulph road, one lane block, construction route one, route one, near wissahickon, just a while ago, i would say ten minute ago, seeing drivers drive by here, a lot of brake lights going off, right now looks little more calm. make note they're out there, crews are out there, and it

4:54 am
great lakesment that's the core of the storm expect to go bypass totally off to the north. but cold front it drags through what will produce potential for locally strong if not severe thunderstorms. so we do actually sit in slight risk for the severe weather, basically across the northern two thirds of our area, downpours, gusty winds, frequent lightning, the primary concerns, marginal risk the further south you travel. so today will be one of those days. i would say take the umbrella one. even though any activity would be primarily confined to the afternoon and evening and scattered in nature, you can get drenched the the high in the meantime, 93 degrees, it is steamy out there, obviously, meisha, a with the humidity made to feel like 108 later on. >> oh, man. so nice to get a break. wet wednesday, thursday? >> better weather on the way, i promise. >> all right. thank you so much. good morning, everyone, happy tuesday. looking at some construction outside, most every which is starting to clear, this is overnight construction route one near wissahickon. looking pretty good. maybe some crews, maybe few
