hey, katie? >> i would say couple of hours, brooke, all we have left until we see things bubble up on the radar here at the local level. but, let's back it up, talk about the heat very quickly here, excessive heat warning, hot pink shaded area, that sort of burnt orange, where you still have a heat advisory, that goes until 5:00 p.m. excessive heat warning is only going to last us until about the time the sun goes down, so, few extra hours, onto that. because you have a feels-like value, pretty brutal right now, be honest, still feels like the 90s up and down i-95, 101 in dover. that has been at least this set of observations by far the worse spot, over the last couple of days, just brutally hot and humid air. now, already, on storm scan, far off to the west, see the little guy across western maryland, starting to see thunderstorms beginning to pop. so the sunshine, the instability needed, to create some of the thunderstorms, it is out there, so just matter of time. does look as though 2:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m., when we start to see those firing up. they could be strong

to appear in philadelphia. >> autopsies set for today for the father and son killed in a fire in monmouth county new jersey. the two alarm fire broke out in a home on the 200 block of 14th avenue in bellmawr. the home is described as a year-around rental. it took crews from five departments to put out the fire. the names of the victims have not been released. four children and one adult are in stable condition after this car crash on roosevelt boulevard in lawncrest. the crash happened around 10:30 this morning in the northbound outer lanes near langdon street. two, eight year old girls, five year old girl and four year old girl are at einstein hospital, so is ooh year old man. police are investigating the circumstances of this crash. also, traffic is back to normal now, along i-95 mercer county. but it wasn't that way earlier today. chopper three was right here over the ramp from southbound route one to southbound 95 in lawrence township about 5:30 this morning.

a dump truck tipped over on the ramp, the driver of the truck is being treated for minor injuries. well, in other news, the search continues for the burglars responsible for a dozen day care break-in's across philadelphia. now, police are asking for your help. a surveillance camera caught fleeting image of the suspect, last week we told you the man broke into nine day cares, and over the weekend, three more were robbed. it appears the suspect gets in through the rear entrance after hours, and takes off with cash, and electronics. if you know anything about the break-in's, please contact police. >> meanwhile, there has been arrest in northern california in connection with the raging wild fires. authorities say the suspect could be linked to other fires. forty year old damon parkelectric arrested last night charged with 17 counts of arson. the fast-moving clayton fire has destroyed nearly 200 homes and caused $10 million in damages. thousands of people have been forced to leave behind almost everything they own. flooding in louisianna has

sparked the biggest disaster response in the u.s. since hurricane sandy, and it is blamed for at least eight deaths. more than 11,000 people are homeless. much of the southern portion of the state is under a flood warning. cbs news reporter omar villafranca is in baton rouge, as homeowners begin to assess the damage. >> we're not going to give up. we'll stay to the bloody ends. and if it noxious down, we'll get back up and we'll rebuild. >> reporter: overnight voluntary evacuations underway in essential parish as flood waters from the overflowing river poured into the community. on monday, national guard helicopters pulled more people to safety from the unprecedented flooding hitting southeastern louisianna. we went along as they took us on search and rescue mission into the flood zone. >> we're now flying over louisianna, and you should see this area is covered in water right now.

days that hit at least 09 degrees. so, quite, couple of different heatwaves actually as a result of that. and, you know, pretty much on pace here, that we have shot to actually match at least, last year's number of 37 degrees, so see how we do. but 31 thus far for 2016. where we stand. looking at storm scan3, more rain on the way for those poor folks in louisianna. as far as the overall weather pattern, core of circulation, cold front trailing behind it cold front needs to cross through for us to feel relief. storm sent letter bypass us, but in advance of that, we're just beading time, waiting for the front to cross. so we do sit? slight risk for severe weather, northern two thirds of our region that have the shot for heavy downpours, gusty winds, frequent lightning at this point though we showed you earlier there is nothing to track locally, but i would say, give it until about maybe 2:00, 3:00. start to see things bubble up here at the local level on the

radar. in the meantime, just feeling awfully oppressive outside, with feels-like values as high as the triple digits for yet another day. but notice what happens here. cold front crosses through, humidity begins to at least drop off. now, it is going to be a gradual change, you know, we start to see the dew point dropping off somewhat slowly, but will happen. that's the key here. now, outside we go to pleasant valley middle and high school here. these kids, these football players, do you see them, the little folks out there? welshing they look little to us, but regardless, they've been out there since this morning. so, hopefully they're taking frequent breaks. i'm sure the coaches are on top of that. very warm up there, as well, northampton county. 83 degrees, is the temperature outside middle township high school. cape may courthouse, nothing but sunshine. so you have variation of cloud cover depending on location, but we're all in it, it is warm outside currently, we're close to 90 already in the city and points south of that. and we'll have no problem hitting the low to mid 90s most locations here, before it is all said and done. so, we are tracking thunderstorms, again, as early
