will visit baton rouge tuesday. hillary clinton is off the campaign trail to to take but she did post a message on facebook about the flooding in lou san a she said her heart breaks for louisiana and right now relief effort cannot afford any distractions. the clinton campaign also issued a statement about manafort's resignation calling it a disturbing connection between donald trump and pro kremlin elements in russia and ukraine. and 81 year-old man is injured in a home invasion in new castle county. this story is unfolding in wilmington. chopper three over the 700 block of oxford road, where that victim told police a man knocked on his door around 12:30 and when he opened it that suspect forced his way inside. police say victim was injured during a scuffle, the suspect stole several items and then left the scene in the red car we will have a full report for you on "eyewitness news" at 6:00. morning rush, turned deadly in north jersey when two commuters buses collide killing two people and hurting at least 17 others. crash happened around 6:20 this morning in newark.

a new jersey transit bus carrying about 20 people was t boned by another bus not even on its side and trapping victims inside. witnesses rushed to get those people out. it was really just too much, not really too much we could do because most of the people were smushed in between the seats, and the windows, and the poles and stuff on the bus. >> reporter: one passenger died and several others are in critical condition. the driver of the other bus, died at the scene. investigators are trying to determine if that driver ran a red light. he was not carrying any passengers at the time of the crash. in new castle county authorities are investigating how a pickup truck and tractor trailer collided early this morning, sending four people to the hospital. the crash happened at pulaski highway and south college avenue in glasgow. a person inside the pickup truck suffered serious burns. three other people suffered minor yours, and delaware state the police are still investigating. well, it the is friday, getaway day for a lot of people, who are preparing for a steamy potentially stormy

weekend. we will get a first look at your forecast with meteorologist kate bilo who is live outside on our cbs-3 sky deck, kate. >> jessica, summer weekend are rapidly growing short in number. we have a few more left if you are heading down on the shore, or pool before school starts for many folks. some kid already back at school. this summer weekend, not too bad, temperatures pretty typical for this time of the year but it is sunday we have to watch, for the threat for storms. lets look at temperatures right now, we have hit 90 degrees here in philadelphia, another hot day, and humidity although not add bass as it was it is definitely noticeable dew points in the 60's. lower 90's in portions of delaware as well sitting at 89 . eighty-eight in millville. eighty-eight in reading. as well as everything quiet for now. there are a couple of showers and storms that have tried to have develop around the shore points, we have mentioned this yesterday, a and that is exactly is what happening. they are very, very few and far between. one out over the opened water off the coast of cape may county another stray shower through atlantic county and

another one starting to develop on right along the border of burlington and ocean counties, but anything we see this evening will be scattered, not a whole lot expected for your friday night. most of us can enjoy a night outside with dry conditions. but that is going to change this week ebb as this storm approaches from the the west. you can see a front approaching on sunday, and sunday is the day we have to watch for those storms along that front, coming up we will time that out more importantly and tell you when to expect the heaviest storms and tell but really great weather to follow, we will also head down to the tropics to take a peak, lots to cover, stay with us, right now back inside to you. >> kate, thank you. philadelphia health officials say deaths related to the opioid fentanyl are soaring and they are trying to get the word out that is there help available. health officials held a press conference this morning, they say deaths involving fentanyl are up more than 600 percent since 2013. it is frequently used illegally to cut heroin which creates a stronger, more dangerous dose of that drug. >> what that means is that

sunshine as they look toward clouds down the shore a and we will see a great photo of the rainbow off coast of avalon thanks to that cell off shore. we have a couple showers in portions of burlington county. right now still steamy, dew points in the mid 60's. it is not bad, not insufferable and it has been worsen this week but it is definitely a hot, sunny summer day and will get better. how it will feel humidity continues to ramp up tomorrow? back towards oppressive. sunday feels very steamy. that is all in advance of the strong cold front that will move through sunday and get here sunday afternoon and evening but once that front comes through look at difference next week. pleasant on monday. awesome by tuesday. possibly a little bit of a twinge of autumnal feeling to the air next week, really nice next week but first we will to get through the threat for storms. tomorrow we will have some sunshine few patchy cloud, stray thunderstorm in the afternoon. sunday when this next front approaches from the the west, cloud develop in the morning but heavier storms look like

new fears pot zika virus, florida's governor says there is now a second area of local zika transmission in the state. "eyewitness news" continues at 5:30, good evening i'm nicole brewer. ukee is off.

>> i'm he jessica dean. latest concern about the zika virus is outside one square mile zika zone in wynnewood neighborhood. cbs news correspondent don champion has the latest. florida governor rick scott says local mosquitoes are transmitting the zika virus in miami beach. >> five individual have already been confirmed, as cases have local transmissions of zika, are connected, to the miami beach area. >> reporter: scott says three men and two women contracted the virus in a one and a half square mile area of miami beach, which includes south beach the popular tourist destination. two are residents, other three are visitors, cdc director tom creedon says the sea breeze and high rise will make attacking zika in miami beach challenging. >> we also have high levels of wind which may blow some of the products that are a replied and, of course, large numbers of people and getting people to wear long sleeves shirts and long pants that would be somewhat challenging.

ground on wild fire that has been burning for four straight days. fire is now 26 percent contain, so far it scorched more than 59 square miles and destroyed at least 96 homes and more than 200 structures. 82,000 residents were under evacuation order under the peak of the fire. some have of those order were lifted. the cause remains under investigation. volcano erupt in guatemala spewing volcanic ash and steam 13,000 feet in the air. plume of the explosion is formed by an explosion from the dome, as it collapses. this is the seventh ninth eruption this year. it is one of the most active volcanoness latin america and it lassie rupped as recently as last tuesday. nasa is sharing this breathtaking image from the hubbell telescope. this is the stellar shrapnel from a star explosion several thousand years ago. the star was a white dwarf about 150,000 light years away
