roadways. right lane blocked. but i can tell you those two remaining lanes are certainly going to get busy, little later, and if this hasn't stopped with the water pouring down, you might want to take an alternate, just heads up on that, something to think b i'll let you know if and when the crews actually move out of the way. right now they're still out there. overturned tanker truck yesterday at 2:00 p.m., have left crews with a clean up. near business route 30, see the flashing lights also an accident wiltshire road at manoa road, in wynnewood, jim, over to you. >> new this morning, two teen boys shot in philadelphia's grays ferry neighborhood. >> bullet casings litter a street, after what police call a shoot-out. "eyewitness news" reporter jan carabeo is live at south detective, to tell us what investigators have uncovered so far. jan? >> brooke, jim, good morning, a loft gunfire, a lot of things to go through in grays ferry overnight. as you mention, three teenagers shot and injured, two of those teenagers, 16 years old, one, 17 years old,

all three, fortunately, for them, are expected to survive. this morning, police are trying to figure out who were the suspect, who were the victims, and why did the shooting happen? >> he was so sure, i don't even think the lady actually saw him until it was too late. we know that he did run out in the street. so, you know, it really wasn't her fault. >> it looks like we're having some technical difficulties. there i want to go over what happened, very early this morning, police are trying to figure out a chaotic scene. they describe an exchange of gunfire, three parked cars were hit by stray bullet, and investigators fawn at least 12 spent shell casings at the scene. at this point police don't know if the victims hit were hit by stray bullet or somehow involved in the shooting. they hope surveillance video

will help sort all of this out. investigators have fawn private cameras at a business nearby the shooting scene. they also found police real time cameras, about a block away, this all happened at 27th and tasker street, just after midnight, when police arrived, they found 16 and 17 year old shot in the leg. they also found another 16 year old shot in the back. they were all taken to the hospital in stable condition. and, as police investigate, they're also reminding neighbors these teenagers should never have been outdoors at the time of the shooting because there is a curfew in place. meanwhile, back out here, on scene, police they don't have a motive. don't have description of the shooter or sheets, but do say they believe one of the suspect may have gotten in a white older model car, possibly nissan, and fled the scene. anyone with information, is asked to call police. we're reporting live outside south detective this morning, jan carabeo, cbs-3, "eyewitness news", jim, brooke, back into you. >> thanks so much, jan. police say the driver after suv hit and killed a toddler, in west philadelphia. this happened just before 7:00 last night on the 4800

block of marion avenue, in the city's west park side section. police say amean rory darted out and hit by white chevy trailblazer. >> he was so short. i don't even think the lady actually saw him until it was too late. we know that he did run out in the street. so, you know, it really wasn't her fault. >> paramedics took rory and his mother to children's hospital of philadelphia where he died a short time later. the driver of the suv did stop and is cooperating with the police investigation. >> well, the reward being offered in the killing after eight year old girl in camden increases to $50,000. right now air brush artists are creating memorial shirt free of charge in honor of gabrielle carter. gabby was struck by stray bullet last week, and died. the owner of the shop will give memorial shirts to anyone in the community who wants

one. >> this morning, flights are delayed at one of the nation's busiest airports after false reports after shooter caused panic and chaos. people seen running from lax airport in los angeles late last night. officials briefly grounded all flights during the investigation, authority say it was a false alarm caused by loud noises. they say they didn't find a shooter and no shots were fired. right now travelers are dealing with very long lines, as well as those delayed flights. >> well, investigators are trying to pinpoint what caused a deadly crash in camden county. eyewitness video was at the scene sunday morning, near the corner of sicklerville road and chews landing road in sicklerville. police say the car went out of control and hit a pole. a man who was standing nearby described hearing the crash, but he didn't want to be identified. >> just heard allowed screaching, the tires, sounded a little something like err. and then boom, boom, boom, boom. >> police have not released the victim's identity.

>> the girlfriend of philadelphia district attorney seth williams charged with vandalism. forty-seven year old stacey comings accused of slashing tires on two city vehicles parked outside william's home last november. the case was referred to the delaware county district attorney's offers who issued arrest warrant for cull action, she surrender zero heard to police yesterday. williams identified cummings as his girlfriend and financial records submitted earlier this month. among the gift, cummings gave the da, a rolex watch, valued at $6,500. >> starting today see more ads from donald trump, the republican nominee is spending upward of $10 million on spots in several swing states including pennsylvania, also planned a speech on illegal immigration wednesday, in arizona. as hena daniels report, this follows speculation that trump is changing his stance on undocumented immigrants. >> donald trump took to social

so now i'm not being perky, telling you that drivers that switch to progressive save an average of $548! whoo! i mean, whoo. >> police say one student was killed and another hurt after a large fight on the campus of an ivy league university. authority say 20 year old anthony nazir was stabbed to death on cornell university's campus in new york. officials say nazir was business major at nearby ithica college, second ithica college student was also stabbed, but expected to survive. officials in italy say there is little hope of finding any more survivors for last week's deadly earthquake. rescue workers continue the grueling task of pulling

bodies from the rubble. the quake happened before dawn last wednesday, flattening three towns. at least 290 people are confirmed dead, but that number could rise. at least four people had to be rescued after flashflooding swept through pittsburgh, damaging roads, standing drivers. heavy storms dumped several inches of rain on pittsburgh, and its suburbs yesterday, emergency crews tried to block off flooded highways, but not soon enough to keep two cars from getting stuck. four people were killed in flooding in the same area in 2011. >> and, a little more than 250 miles to the west, since nazi dealing with issues from storms and flooding. schools are closed in the city today, some because of damage from the flooding. more than 13,000 people are waking up without power. but officials say it will be restored by noon. well, the driver of a charter bus involved in a multi vehicle crash in louisianna is expected to face neglect homicide charges. two people were killed yesterday, when the bus caring flood recovery workers crashed

into a firetruck, and three other vehicles. the bus driver is a 37 year old honduran man, who entered the us illegally, does not have license to operate that bus. >> today marks the 11th anniversary of hurricane katrina. the storm made landfall in louisianna august 29th, 2005, by the time it moved through several state, it killed more than 1800 people, and caused widespread devestation. the price tag on the damage was over more than $100 billion. >> south florida preparing for possible flooding. tropical depression is expected to dump up to 4 inches of rain on the southern half of the florida end insula and the keys, comes as health officials are trying to ensure standing watt from possible floods does not become a breeding ground for mosquitos caring zika virus. 4 inches every rain, that's a lot, justin. >> that s we could use some of that. not 4 inches the at once, but

disturbed weather over the carolinas, that's tropical depression number eight there. then we have some clouds just to the north and west of us, that's the weak cold front i was talking b little more humid today. that's what we will call pretty much steamy, tomorrow humidity drops just little bit, increases again on wednesday. but, thursday, you're really going to feel the difference, that's the start after nice pleasant weather pattern. here is our hurricane gaston, still hanging out over the central atlantic, strong category three, winds at 120 miles per hour, weaver tropical depression number nine. south of florida near cuba. and then we have closer to home, tropical depression number eight just off the carolina coastline. and it is really gaston, that's providing the stronger rip currents, right now, large swells, wave heights out near the storm around 20 feet. so, rougher conditions, along the jersey shore delaware beaches, waves will be huge, just going to have more fos in some of the waves, indicate stronger rip current. make sure the lifeguards are on duty. ninety-one today for the high, 68 degrees the low for tonight, extended forecast hot

finish to august, then bring back lower 80s, headed into labor day weekends, plenty of sunshine. meisha, what's the latest out there? >> fantastic, information, justin, thank you so much for that. good morning, everyone, happy monday. to answer your question, roads are looking pretty darn good. we can see them heating up this monday morning, we can expect this, nine at southbound at cottman, starting to heat upcoming around the s curve deeper into center city. right now looking at both moving in the northbound southbound direction. for a monday morning, i glance over at the northbound side, little bit, but not too much. right now we have a loft vehicles out there, moving in the northbound direction on 95, so just heads up for those every you maybe from center city or more south and head northbound on interstate 95 there. it is starting to heat up little bit even in the northbound direction. new jersey, 42 northbound at creek road, actually looking really nice in new jersey right now. but we do have water main break there is happened yesterday, boulevard southbound before ridge avenue, kelly drive, still active, two right lanes now are closed.
