victim stumbling to the ground and he died shortly thereafter. it happened friday in the 700 block of adams avenue. police are searching for suspects. four men and teenager are facing charges in connection with the deadly highway shoot-out in new jersey. teen and three other men were all wounded. gunfire erupted on the atlantic city expressway yesterday, one group ended up on the garden state parkway and another in a wawa convenient store parking lot. rahel solomon joins us live at state police barracks in hamilton township with an update on this investigation, rahel, good evening. >> reporter: good evening, ukee. new jersey state police, released the name of the booking photos of five people charged with the shoot-out from yesterday, among them a 16 year-old boy, and a father and son. >> new jersey state police say monday's shoot-out on the ac expressway, was a family fair for father 38 year-old shawn stukes and 19 year-old desean stukes williams.

according to investigators the two with 24 year-old len nardo caro and 16 year-old boy showed up at wawa on delilah road in egg harbor township and white ford expedition riddled with bullets all suffering from gun the shot wound. >> pretty much in shock about it. because it is something that doesn't happen here. >> reporter: troopers were called out to the parkway where two other people involved were found in a different car. the passengers, 22-year old rose mant octavius was shot in the head, driver, anthony hicks was not hurt. the wild scene filled top of the conversation for many on tuesday at this wawa. >> people are still talking about it. people are scared. people going back and forth, bringing their kid to school, you know, talk of the town at the shore town. >> reporter: police say all five people have been charged with open opposite offences but more serious charges are expect, troopers say they are still trying to find this black pickup truck and who was inside it. delaware plates, xp988134. meaning even more people could

soon be charged. and, over in philadelphia, police tell me that a man with a gunshot wound to his arm showed up at the hospital of the university of pennsylvania, yesterday, and investigators there tell me they believe he is connect to this shoot-out. they have not quite said how, at this point he has only been charged with filing a false report because investigators there tell me he gave police a wrong name and date of birth. reporting live, rahel solomon for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". >> thank you. meantime a person is recovering from injuries following a pit bull attack in north philadelphia. chopper three was over the scene on the 4100 block of north broad street this morning. police say a dog attacked a person and officer shot that dog several times. the dog's condition isn't clear but we do know that it is still alive right now. the victim is in stable condition. a 19 year-old is facing charges for bizarre prank at a wildwood hotel. the on sunday authorities say austin gale threatened to set himself on fire in the

elevator full of people at aisle of palms motel. gale, from new york city, poured liquid on himself from a can labeled gasoline. it was actually just water. police say gale had no intention of harming himself and he was hoping to record reactions of bystanders and post it all on social media. it was a chaotic scene in camden earlier this morning. police say a car hit several park cars, smashed through a porch and then burst into flames. it happened just before 2:00 o'clock near corner of haddon and newton avenues. authorities say at least one person appeared to be eject from the car, two people were hospitalized in that wreck. there is no word yet on their condition. fire fighters were back out in overbrook this morning, dousing hot spots that rekindled inside a century's old church. flames and smoke could be seen for miles while fire fighters battled four alarm inferno at good shepherd presbyterian church yesterday. no one was hurt in that fire but build ago peers to be a total loss. it served five congregations

and several other community organizations. church officials have vowed to rebuild. well, tropics are heating up. we're feeling effect along new jersey and delaware shorelines with dangerous rip currents. let's take you live to ocean city where swimmers are told to be extra careful. several storms are churning in the atlantic, including a hurricane. meteorologist justin drabick is tracking the tropical activity. there is a lot of it, j.d. >> we are moving in the the height of the season but surfers will love it because there will be waves for days with all this activity. it has been flat for most of the summer. let's talk about our first storm. we have hurricane gaston out over central atlantic. we have waves and strong current. heading back out to sea. still tropical depression number eight, 60 miles off to the south and west of hat race. movement now to the north and east and it with the track from our coastline but intensify in the tropical storm in the next 24 to 48 hours. this will keep stronger rip currents around in the next few days and then in the gulf of mexico we have tropical depression number nine.

forecast to strengthen in a tropical storm. could make land fall northern florida on thursday and then track out to the atlantic. watch what happened? this tries to hook backup later in the weekend w this storm around, even on the weekend it is still going to pump some surf and talking about strong rip currents through the rest of the week up and down new jersey shore, delaware beach and maryland down to virginia and carolina rest of this week and threw up coming holiday weekend. so what is a rip current? it will not pull you under but can pull you out. all of the wave action on shore with strong energy with it, it has to go back out the to sea. so it find a weak spot the in the sandbars and you see that rush of current heading back outward. in it the you can be pull further off shore. they are easy to fine. look for some choppy water, channel of it, discolored and might be debris floating around. usually a break in the wave pattern, waves bracing right there. swim at guarded beach and like the old saying says keep your toes in the sand until life

some sunshine mix with cloud, little bit muggy and humidity levels will increase. another hot day near 90 degrees in philadelphia. eighty-five in allentown. and reading. we should be right around, 83 this time of the year. temperatures will take a dive below average as we head in the upcoming holiday weekend. sure is great weather, only problem is stronger rip currents out there but we have got some nice sky conditions, breeze coming off the ocean right now. eighty-three stone harbor. seventy-eight in barnegat and ocean city. lets talk about the humidity? dew point temperatures in the bad in philadelphia and points north. in the 50's it feels good but notice more humid air just to the south creeping northward over the next 12 to 24 hours. these dew points will be on the rise. feel the difference tomorrow. it will be steamy, that is really the last, for several days, and transition day, we will drop the humidity and temperature, this sets up for a nice pleasant air mass, friday, saturday and really throughout the upcoming weekend. i think you'll like it if you

concern is growing over missing cats in delaware. they were adopted, off craigs list. by a convicted cat killer.
