"eyewitness news" reporter joe holden has been keeping close tabs and joins us at city hall with those details, joe. >> good evening, and sources in the federal government liking this to assembling a giant puzzle. many campaigns that have benefited from the support, and political power of local 98. with the ibew's political financing and campaign clout under a federal microscope cbs-3 sifted through hundreds of pages of campaign finance documents. sources close to the investigation confirmed that a federal grand jury is scrutinizing how local 98 financed political campaigns. just last week labor magnet

johnny dougherty pend in the letter that the ibew was instrumental in the elections of three pennsylvania supreme court justices, one of them dougherty's own brother. mayor jim kenney's campaign was also benefactor of local 98. finance reports for what is known as the local 98 commit thee on political education funneled just under $50,000 to kenney's campaign for t-shirts, signs and ads. last week sources confirmed that the kenney campaign received a federal subpoena requesting financial record. federal agents earlier this month seized boxes of record and documents from local 98 headquarters and city hall offices of councilman bobby henon. an attorney for kenney's campaign said they could not discuss the subpoena at the request of federal investigators. record show local 98, also steered more than $600,000 to kevin dougherty's run for supreme court. there were also quote, pepper and egg get together, at

gun broke in the home through basement door, tying up several family members, and then sexually assaulting a woman inn side. this resident who asked that we do not the show his face was sleeping in his home in the 5100 block of nevis street. >> i woke up to hear my taught are crying. i said what is going on. >> after learning that his daughter had been sexually assaulted at gunpoint he then ran through the house and down into the basement. >> all i hear thinks moaning. that is when i look around and i see my brother-in-law tied up in front of the basement. they have him tied with wire, he was tied to either the gas line or waterline. then they had my sister tied up as well. >> reporter: his family members said intruder displayed a silver gun. >> i went running out of the basement door after him but i didn't see anything. >> reporter: police describe intruder as tall wearing a dark sweat shirt with the hood up and mask. another neighbor said a man
