said there is a lot going on, i mean almost everything this morning you guys and it is just 5:00 in the morning right now. would i give yourself a couple extra minutes even though it is early. >> you are earning your paycheck. >> lots to talk about. i mean we have some fog and that has been a problem, and, one shot for you as well. it is very patchy. as we take you out live to sky scan three it looks a little misty across this area but generally speak nothing wet weather, at least not yet, it is not until tonight that we will have some wet weather that starts to rumble in here courtesy of the cold front. atmosphere is moistening up, heating up as well, it will be a steamy even to the month of august but storm scan is not reporting any stormy weather. now we have mentioned that fog, it is patchy, out there, locally dense with visibility near or under a hyle in these spots. keyword is patchy, we have seen so far, think way the

large but philadelphia police have tracked down the striking vehicle here. they were able to do that by following a trail of leaking vehicle fluid. that trail started behind me at the crash scene and led investigators five brooks away. you can see here at the crash scene at corn are of whittaker and loudon that hangled motorcycle rehaines. the driver a 58 year-old man a victim of the deadly hit and run. take a look here it is striking vehicle an suv park in the rear driveway in the 5,000 block of roper street in feltonville. driver was already gone and police say that person may have taken a license late with them since thon was found at the scene, police now have some will solid clues to work with. they have the vin and possibly fingerprint and dna inside. now this hit and run happened just before 11:30 at intersection of whittaker avenue and loudon street. a 58 year-old man was riding this motorcycle south on whittaker help suv turn left in the path and two vehicles

collided. fifty-eight year-old was thrown up to 30 feet away, he died as a result of his injuries. meantime a witness tells police a suv fled the scene leaving behind a debris and trail of antifreeze and motor oil that led police in the right direction. >> that gmc had heavy front end damage, both air bags, deployed and they were actually able to follow trail of fluid right to the location, that is where the trail of fluid ended right where the gmc yukon was parked. >> investigators are praising police work this morning to help in this case, now unfortunately we don't have a good description of the driver, that witness only says it was a manafort nately however, there is a rec center with surveillance cameras and they are hoping some video will help. anyone with information is asked to call police. we will keep up to date but for now we are live, jan carabao cbs-3 "eyewitness news". jim and brooke back to you. new you this morning a

bicyclist is in critical condition after he was gunned down in kensington early this morning. thirty-seven year-old man was hit this is back as he rode on the 400 block of east clear field street. police found three shell casings on the sidewalk but they are still looking for two men seen running from the scene. this morning a 12 year-old girl is recovering after she was shot in the thigh during a triple shooting. it happened around 6:30 last night in the 3,000 block of north marshall street. police say a hand was shot in the neck and another man was hit in the ankle. girl was taken to st. christopher's hospital where she was in stable condition. police were able to find the gun used but have not announced any arrest at this point and in the clear what led up to that shooting. a 13 year-old boy who hurt himself and 12 year-old girl playing with the gun inside a south philadelphia home on monday will face charges. teen has been charged with aggravated assault and weapons offence is among other things. police say boy was waving the gun when it fired a shot hitting his hand and the girls

knee. both children are expect to survive, investigators have not recover the weapon. new jersey state police say they have found the third vehicle sus he can in the deadly shoot-out on the atlantic city expressway. detectives say they located this black truck with delaware plates last night, they are now releasing any details about who was behind the wheel. five people including a 16 year-old boy faced charges in monday's shoot-out. rosemond octavius suffered a gunshot wound to the head and died. four others were hurt. a father is speaking out after his daughter was sexually assaulted during a home invasion in philadelphia's lawncrest section. it happened in the 5100 block of mebus street just before 4:00 in the morning. man who asked we not show his face said he was woken up by a disturbing sound. >> i woke up to hear my daughter crying and i said what is going on. she said a hand just put a gun to my head. >> he said he ran downstairs to the basement and found his
