what you are seeing right now they are directing traffic on to the vine, eastbound ramp to i-95 south is closed. let me show you an alternate we drew up real quick. this is your best bet. take roosevelt boulevard south bun to broad street or schuylkill eastbound. your best bet right now. i can tell you with how many vehicles we were seeing out there, in this accident all of those road and alternates are getting very busy. excuse me. so, anywhere you have to go right now give yourself extra time, we will need at least 45 minutes and depending how long that takes to get cleared up, it could be more. we know some backups are extend to go girard on i-95. all of those vehicles are trying to get out to the vine. then another accident speaking of the vine moving in the westbound direction closed for that construction, but now all opened. that accident on 295 that has been just cleared, joe, over to you. now an update on the breaking news on i-95 fire fighters were hurt when a tractor trailer crash with

ladder trucks. >> meisha and justin has been covering this all take. much of the i-95 south highway near columbus boulevard exit looks like a parking lot this morning. >> "eyewitness news" reporter justin finch is live in the thick of it, good morning, justin. >> brooke, joe, as we are right here at this center of the scene here you can see that is a tractor trailer that is involved and further south there, wraps you can see it, that is the ladder truck that we are told was struck here overnight about two and a half hours or so. lots of police, down there flashing lights as they work to toe that truck from the scene. this tractor trailer front end here cabin here has smashed against the right side of this wall just a few minutes ago we believe we saw the driver leave a medic truck and go back toward the tractor trailer here and just north of it here is resulting scene. just lanes and lanes of backup

traffic north of chestnut and going for miles north. these drivers here of been park here, for several hours, now and they are beginning to get ansy and get outlooking for information. what we know at this time we are hearing of at least five fire fighter transports to hahnemann hospital, in word yet on their injuries, however, we are hearing of yet another transfer of a person to jefferson hospital. now, what the hold up is right now is trying to clear this scene, saying that fire truck and tractor trailer out of the way. we had a fire truck here earlier doing clean up. it has since left. we have also seen state police out here and other law enforcement agencies, city police and others trying to get a sense of just what caused the crash. it was raining earlier, rain was coming down, we're not shore if the roads were slick and tractor trailer hit the breaks, lost control and jackknifed. all these things are investigating at this hour.

it is dam in ocean city right now. you can see a haze, a little bit of that halo effect around the lamps and lights on the boardwalk there but we are expecting that eventually, we will see skies start to clear from northwest to south east especially but really through the course of the afternoon for everyone. so it does get better from here but in the meantime, we're off to a steamy damp start and that is what is being reported by all eyewitness weather watchers. in terms of the temperature we have decent consistently, upper 60's and 07's. we will look the a the list format. in clementon david dutch has 69. we are in the low 07's from barbara in willow grove, dave in essington and margot as well in south central, new jersey. bill layden in cardington and that is a magic number for handful of spots here. the list goes on. not too much vision there but up in the poconos it is redefining the cooler spots. the lets switch gears, take

you to the radar. you can see a very well define back edge to this. that is where clear sky will come in but it will take a to more hours before that can happen. nice wide zoom though on what is currently going on with hermine in the tropical storm northeastern gulf of mexico but this front was supposed to just sweep out to sea, that is not going to happen at this point. this storm will hug our companies more tightly. lets walk through sustained wind speeds, guys. we have the strongest wind on the eastern edge of the storm system as high as 50 miles an hour or so. then we will see a very obvious track taking place here. certainly the cozies where we will see best chance to see strongest wind as high as 50 miles an hour but further inland it will be a breezy sunday specifically storm. saturday is when we see clouds fill, we will sea breeze pick up but sunday is get time main impact but at this point storm will pull out to sea, still

tease event winds at the shore on lane are day itself but sunday looks like it is the ugliest day in terms of the wind as well as threat for steady rain. potential impact is here on sunday from hermine, strong wind, dangerous rip currents, high surf and coastal flooding. we were looking the at swell information at the shoreline we could see wave heights as high as ten or higher then 10 feet. that will lead to some coastal flooding, regardless, we have to keep an eye on that. in the meantime that front is clearing out, nice weather. tomorrow looks beautiful. the saturday overall not bad but transition day and sunday when we have that best chance for wind and rain from hermine and keeping our fingers crossed that the system will move away in time for labor day. >> fingers crossed, indeed, all right, thank you. we will update you on what we have been talking about all day long, good morning you guys. for those who heard this bear with me i'll give you an update. we have been talking about this as well. we have an accident that

happened earlier involving a tractor trailer and fire truck with injuries, 59 south between vine and columbus boulevard, all lanes still block. what we are seeing here is they are directing traffic on the vine right now but because all those vehicles having to get on the vine, vine is getting congested as well. i want to bring you right to an alternate. for those who have taken state 95 take the boulevard south bun to broad street or schuylkill eastbound as your best bet for vehicles that we have been seeing getting on the vine. it is very congested. if you have to i would give yourself at least 45 minutes. i'll let you know it clears. we are hoping within the hour but it could extend past that. i'll let you know. there is another accident involving new jersey turnpike northbound before pennsylvania turnpike right lane is block and we have another accident where a pedestrian has been struck, montgomery avenue at bethlehem pike so a lot going on this morning. it was very wet.

sometimes those slick roadways will start to added congestion and accidents on the roadways, that is what we are seeing this morning. speed restrictions we had them out there because of the weather, ben franklin bridge and walt whitman bridge we are down to 35. those speed restrictions have been lifted. we are clear looking better there. when we go wide this is what we are looking at 55 all the way around except for interest stat i-95 pushing in the southbound direction and now, of course, vine as well, joe, over to you. check your pantry some entemans cake is being recalled, they involving little by the fudge brownry and chock lane chip muffins. there are reports the plastic bits were found. one injury was reported. they have a best buy date of october 8th and variety packs with the best buy date of september 24th. out break of hepatitis a has sickened 55 people in six states. u.s. centers for disease control and prevention says it

justin, what can you tell us. >> reporter: brooke and joe, good morning. as we mentioned we have one lane of traffic, that you can see traffic trickling south here past that chestnut overpass where this wreck appears to have happened overnight. two and a half hours or so ago. this tractor trailer here we understand apparently lost control, and skidded in the right side wall of the overpass. we have that ladder 16 truck that has back end damage that appears to have within struck as well. it has been towed. work is underway to toe this tractor trailer from this scene as well. but backup here north we have had traffic across all lanes blocked for more than two hours, lots of frustration here on the roadway but the relief has come. we know at least five people were transported to hahnemann hospital. all fire fighters. we understand the condition is stable at this time. now we also have
