because as you're coming up to a bus, and maybe the arm is out, what do we need to look for? >> important that drivers really take the precautions to understand it is back to school, when the red lights come on, when the stop sign comes out, when we see this arm come out on the school bus, it is imperitive, it is the law, that drivers in pennsylvania stop 10 feet from that bus, 10 feet behind the bus, if approaching the bus head already on, 10 feet in front of the bus you stop. you let the kids cross the street, for the bus, you wait for the stop sign and the lights to go off. kids are not traffic savvy. they are excited to get on the school bus, waiving to mom and dad, they opportunity see their friends, so we are asking motorists to be alert specially now as kids get back into the routines. >> if i'm on the other side of the road, and i'm approaching a bus that had stopped, what's the protocol for me? >> very good question. we get this a lot. if there is a grass median, concrete guardrail strip, opposing traffic does not have
