like yesterday. 80 degrees, feeling like 84, with the humidity. there is a breeze out of the southwest. but that eventually changes out of the northwest today. and that pushes out the humidity. so, we're in the upper 70s, in reading, allentown this hour, and starting to see that drop in the humidity. we look at the dew point temperatures. earlier this morning, everybody was in the 70s with the dew points. now starting to see low 60s in berks county, mid 60s allentown, mid 60s kind of the threshold where it starts to feel humid. it is getting nice, north and west of the city. few more hours, that dryer air mass moves into the city, and then areas south and east, into delaware, new jersey, for the afternoon. a shower or two possible next hour or so, in the poconos, that's about it. other than that clouds, skies, this afternoon, if you are headed to the link, it will be warm, 84 degrees, game time. but the humidity will be on the low end. we're on our way up to eight a degrees, 5 degrees above average. turns out to be better beach day this afternoon with some sunshine, 83, mid 70s up in the poconos, again, waking up to some clouds right now. but turns out to be a nice

date. memorial made up of 88 search lights, positioned to represent the twin towers. >> some of the victims family will gather at the yard end of election in yardley. remembrance service will start at 8: 30, 18 of the victims from bucks county the last night families remembered their loved ones in a tragedy that hit so close to home. trang do was there. >> it is so important we never forget the sacrifices made that day. >> reporter: at dusk they gathered at the garden of reflection on the eve of a somber and painful anniversary. >> ♪ taps ♪ >> by candlelight, with tears in their eyes, they remembered. the 2,977 victims of the september 11 attacks, 18 from bucks county. jennifer was just 11 years old when she lost her older brother, josh, who was working

and hundreds gathered in shenksville for a special service to remember the victims that lost their lives, after their plane crashed into a field on september 11. forty lanterns represented the 40 victims of the flight 93 crash 15 years ago, lantern bearers walked from memorial plaza to the wall of names to honor the victims. jay clark from philadelphia waist zero was there just before his brother who was honored to car a lantern. >> you know how much joy he probably has for going up there and representing one of the members of the flight. >> those who attended today, the service was both comforting and sad. president obama will mold moment of silence at the white house, then attends memorial this morning at the pentagon. live picture of the pentagon, where an american flag is draped outside of the building. the pen pentagon the only site that doesn't have a visitor center or museum to help people learn about what happened on september 11, 2001.

pleasant with lowering humidity all across the delaware valley. and it is the front that will bring the change. pretty much moving through the northwest suburbs right now. allentown, reading, feeling the effect of the front, still have some clouds over us, maybe stray shower or two in the poconos in the next hour, then out of here, nothing but clear skies central pennsylvania westward, that's what's coming our way. zero eight at the airport, 78 allentown and reading, warm, muggy, ahead of the cold frontment on the flip side of the front, nice refreshing air mass, settling in, upper great lakes, buffalo, checking in at 62, it is 60 in pittsburgh, not going to be seeing temperatures that cool during the day, but at least humidity levels start to drop and will be nice during the nighttime hours. so hour by hour, humidity falls today, so overall call it not bad for how it will feel, tomorrow feeling pleasant, same deal on tuesday, slight increase in humidity wednesday, before we see another change for the end of the week. that's really going to push in some fall like temperatures on thursday and friday. so the shore forecast, clouds

around this morning, then turning partly sunny, 83 for the air temperature, ocean water comfortable at 74, makes sure lifeguards are on duty if you plan on swimming, still the uv index this time of year is on the high side, wear the sun block, front crosses the region 9:00, 10:00, comes through dry, just some clouds, then increasing the sunshine late this morning into the afternoon. go mostly sunny today, tonight, clear, quiet, very pleasant, you can open up the windows, nice refreshing breeze. comfortable temperatures. and into the 50's, in a lot of the suburbs. so today's highs, make it into the low and mid 80s, still above average. at least not dealing with mid 90s like the past few days, tonight look at that, maybe some 40's in some of the cooler supports early monday morning, elsewhere, up ear's to around 650 degrees. and then, tomorrow, temperatures return, right where they should be. for the early part of september near 80 degrees. around philadelphia. and by the end of the week, more after fall like pattern, not going to last for several days, but at least we get couple of days of some relief below average temperatures, haven't seen that in a while,

talking about highs generally in the mid and upper 70s for thursday and friday, as the jet stream moves a little farther to the south. today noticely less humid, eight a degrees for the high temperature, tonight, it is clear, comfortable 62 for the city. you saw it maybe some 40's, some of the cooler spots tomorrow. check it out. specially lehigh valley, berks county, normally one of the cool spots, interior south jersey, extended forecast dry, no big storms storm systems, maybe shower coming in late wednesday night, as a stronger colds front moves through. >> still warm, mid 80s, seven's return on thursday and friday. >> 8:18, let's check p with ann evans, see how the roads are looking, hi, ann. >> hello rahel. roadways looking quite good. looking at i59 broad street. if you are headed taught do early morning tailgating this will be the roadway you would take for today's eagles game. so far it is a good shape, but

no delays or problems. just nice to look at i-95, and look at it without any delays. we're going to move the traffic cam here no delays or problems on this portion of the schuylkill, and the schuylkill looks fine, through philadelphia, and its suburb. with no delays. and on to the ben franklin bridge mid-span, the area bridges are in pretty good shape throughout the area. if you are headed to the shore, no delays on the ben franklin or the walt whitman bridge. further up, 42, 55, atlantic city expressway and the garden state parkway all look okay at this point. and taking a quick look at mass transit on or close to schedule. except for the regional rails, it will be ongoing equipment shortage. and that's the latest from the cbs-3 traffic center, i'm ann evans, rahel, back to you. >> ann, thank youment from the roads to a dream drive, and you have ever wonder what it would be look like in a castle, traffic reporter meisha johnson found place where it is easy to fantasies.

>> i yes, it is early, and certainly the humidity still on the high side. that will change this afternoon, been talking about it all weekend long, welcome relief from some of the heat and humidity coming off high yesterday of 95 degrees still talk about above average temperature, now starting to see more temperatures. starting to push into the region, low 60s now knowledge pocono, through the poconos, still, just to the west. so warm, muggy ahead of the front, temperature right now at 80 degrees at the airport, feeling like the mid 80s with the humidity, but the wind starting to switch more west and northwest to the north west suburbs. berks county lie high valley, look at the dew points, it tells the story. see the drop into the low 60s in reading for the dew point temperature meaning the dryer air mass is moving on in. still very humid from the city on south and east. give it few more hours.

kenneth craig speaks with the father who used his grief to create a powerful tribute. >> this is the uniform firefighter jonathan was wearing when he was killed in the collapse of the twin towers. a 29 year old father of two, his memory lives here at the 9/11 tribute center along with other victims of the terror attack. >> this is a difficult face. >> this is very difficult space. >> jonathan's father, retired firefighter. he spent three month searching ground zero, before he found his son's remains. >> the best that humanity could give us bass here, searching, every day, 24 hours a day, hands and knees. >> during that time, the damage liberty deli became a gathering spot for rescue and recovery workers. eventually turned the space into the 9/11 tribute center. a kind of interim museum until

of clouds over the city south and east. so few peaks every sunday this morning, showers coming to an end over the poconos, clear skies to the west. so a lot of sunshine later this afternoon. and with that front, we are bringing in cooler drier air mass, dew points fall really rapidly into the afternoon. so this morning, we have dew point of 72, at 6:00. pretty much where we are right now, buy noon mid 60s, kind of the threshold to indicate the humid air. then into the 50's, by 3:00 and 6:00 so very dry air conditions return to the forecast this afternoon. so comfortable to head outside later today. at the shore, increasing sunshine, 83, still warm day, little breezy, and then, tomorrow, look at that, 77 degrees, for the high temperature upper 70s on tuesday. so nice stretch in south jersey. still talking the drop innings, heart of the season yesterday marked the peak of hurricane season this is the typical pattern we deal with get the waves off the african coast, tropical systems as

they track off to the west this pattern, three systems to watch, very weak, one over the southern bahamas. and one just to the northwest of cuba right there. little chance every developing over the next five days until tropical system, so not worried about those few systems. this one, stronger, out over the central atlantic waters, got about 90% chance of formation in the next five days into a tropical system. the good news tracks north, stays out over the open waters, no threat to land. things are quiet in the tropics, that's good thing. back home, cold front pushing on through, gets rid of the humidity, nice start to the work week high fresh you are -- high pressure in control, it continues into tuesday, pretty much throughout the week. i think you'll like the forecast. today turning sunny, less humid, still warm, eight a, above average, comfortable this afternoon, 62 for the city, look at some of the suburbs, temperatures tomorrow morning, potentially some 40's
