she was taken to saint mary's trauma center as is expected to survive. police say the woman told them she inflicted some sort of injury to the man before fleeing the home. it is one of the most high profile cases to go unsolved in recent history. twenty years after the tragic murder of john bone a ram zip, new details being revealed by her brother. >> today doctor phil fill sits down with the brother speaking for first time in a exclusive interview. >> the knife that -- the night your sister was killed, three people were in the house that we know of, you, your mother, your father. in the 20 years that's gone by, you're the one that has never spoken. never talked about this publicly. and you've decided to do so now. my question for you is why now? and why here? >> now, burke was nine years old when his sister was murdered. he is now 29.

doctor phil fill joins us live from new york with more on this highly anticipated interview. yes, doctor phil, it's been 20 years, and the case still remains unsolved. burke ramsey's first media interview, you asked the question on the minds of so many. why now? >> doctor phil: well, you know, it is the 20 year anniversary, and it was very clear to him that he was going to be pushed to the forefront here. this thing has worked on so hard over the last 20 years, the internet is alive with people speculating about this, it has never calmed down over the last 20 years, and the missing link is burke ramsey. he has not spoken in 20 years, there are three tapes, one with a psychologist, and two interrogation tapes, that went missing some 18, 20 years ago. and people have wanted to see those. well, we have that sit-down interview with burke ramsey, speaking for the first time in 20 years, and we did find and recover those missing

interrogation tapes and the tape with the psychologist, we're going to watch those with burke ramsey, and this is a no-holds wards interview. he agreed we would no rules, we ask about anything, talk about anything, and we do exactly that. >> doctor phil, a lot of times unsolved cases get forgotten but not this case. why do you think people still remain so interested? >> well, you know, i think there has been such an interest in this because at the time it was botched so badly. the police department had never handled a murder case before. it never handled a kidnapping case before. and this was a beautiful young girl, a very after fluent family, the father was head of a billion dollars company. they were living in a mansion in bolder, colorado. it got immediate national attention, then it became clear that the parents, lawyer, immediately, and the police did not cord off the crime scene. the body was found by the

father in the home which meant it was contaminated with his dna. the mother through herself on top of the body, contaminating with her dna. and then the son disappeared. they did not make him available. so there were so many unanswered questions, and we're going to talk about those things. all of the questions people have been curious about. the pineapple that was found in her stomach on autopsy. where did it come from? the fact that he had hit her in the head with a golf club in a previous occasion. we talk about that. the mysterious boot print at the crime scene down in the basement. we talk about that. all of the theories of intruder whether the ramsey's did it, whether burke did it covered up by the parent because they didn't want to lose both children. all of these thicked are talked about in this interview with burkement and we had sit-down interview with his father for the first time in many, many years. did he a comprehensive interview and answered all questions.
