we take a look at the area temperatures, okay, i give you, up in the mountains, definitely cool, flirting with the 40's at this hour, modest wind flow everywhere, you won't have to contend with the breeze making it feel any cooler but it is 64 degrees in philly, so the mildest spot of the pack right now, in the mid or up ear's many other locations most of delaware still stills in the 60s, at the shore towns, you have got variety pack, anywhere from flirting with 70 this morning, to the mid 50's, so again it, all depends where you are, what you are going to experience, or, how your perception will mess with you here today. regardless we end up with beautiful weather reasonable old on wide, nice and warm, no jackets required, so again, it is one of those days where you may want to think about dressing in layers, at least to start the day off little on the cooler side. but then we warm it up. now, i love this. this is the second day in a row i've been able to show this graphic, all four of these check boxes can be checked off. sunshine, warmth, low humidity continuing, light wind also still out there. so, for yet another day, it is

new york is recovering from second agree burns, and his family says he got them while watching video on a smart phone. now this all happened on saturday night, the boy was using his grandmother's phone, samsung galaxy note seven. all the sudden it exploded. >> now the boy was taken to the hospital but was already back in school yesterday. his grandfather says eggs' afraid of phones now. the samsung says it is working with the family, the galaxy note seven has received a lot of attention recently because of sudden explosions. although the company knows of at least 35 such incident, caused by the lithium ion battery. it is not recalling the phone's just yet. >> group of women in tennessee are turning old plastic bags into sleeping mats to help flood victims. they call themselves the bag ladies. they started doing this two years ago for homeless people. then, after last month's floods, they started sending

so just four other women behind them, as well. >> lochte joined the cast of the show after admitting he over exaggerated claims he and three of his teammates were robbed at gunpoint. during the summer olympic games in rio. and the united states team officials actually banned lochte for that over exaggeration, banned for ten months. >> now, how is the rest of the cast responding on dancing? >> reporter: you know, they've been very supportive. as we look at the protesters in custody, judge carry ann, in the process of revealing her sport for lochte and his partner, when it happened, social media while scary moment, no one got hurt, lochte's dancing partner said she was completely shocked, but beyond proud of him. it will be interesting to see what happens next week. >> definitely will. thanks, hena. >> well, sounds like headline from the 1700s. workers spend the night getting cannons no place. >> and, no, we aren't flashing back to the revolution.

new this morning, you are about to see dramatic display in old city that wasn't there last night. >> take a look. five enormous revolutionary war era cannons were installed as a new museum of the american revolution at third and chestnut. now, crews had to do it in the middle of the night. they had to close chestnut street to unload the massive artillery. will become a classic photo op in old city. >> i'm sure will become a landmark for identifying the museum. just kinds of puts things together here in the district. >> now the outdoor plaza at the museum of the american revolution opens this thursday. the museum itself opens in april. >> well, coming up in the next hour of cbs-3 "eyewitness news" september is historic i the worse and most volatile month of the year for stocks. live in new york with some investment advice. >> how about this? they build cool stuff. actually company motto. they really back it up.

very comfortable, as women, you know, one of those days where you may want to dress in layers. you start the morning off on little cool note t warms up nicely later in the day. you can shed the extra layer, more like shorts, t-shirts weather. storm scan3, totally imitate. looking at the area temperatures, yes little cooler than we normally would seep, than normally seen in recent days. yesterday, it was pretty much on par with this. currently at 64 in philly, 57 in atlantic city, calm wind everywhere. and you're flirting with the 40 eights this morning in mount pocono. now, that said, if you're in maybe one of the more remote suburban school district, ride to school may be little cooler than 66 degrees, so again, through maybe just step out the door, gauge thousand feels to you. but you have temperatures anywhere from mid 60s to the mid 50's to start the morning off. by lunchtime already flirting with or hitting 80 degrees, around the region. and the ride home promises to be nice warm afternoon. soap, it is another beautiful day. a little taste of fall though it is going to warm up to bit above average. that real taste of fal
